Speaker 2 (00:22):
With America with your host, Rich Valdez.
Speaker 5 (00:26):
What's up America? I am Rich Valdez Valdez with I
asked that Rich Valdez on all of the social media.
Welcome to the Wednesday night edition of the program. Happy
to be here, Toda, mend and d Young. We're a
tremendous blessing to be with each and every one of you.
And if you want to join the program tonight, I
feel free. I am at eight seven seven valdesz one,
eight seven seven Valdes one, and I want to get
(00:49):
into a few different things tonight. We're going to get
to some of the calls that we've been trying to
get to, but we also were going to get into
I Guess Part two right day number two, the Clintons
didn't show up for their bypart and subpoena and now
they're going to be referred for criminal contempt to the
Department of Justice. Now the question is will something happen.
Will we see President Bill Clinton treated lye Peter Navarro
(01:11):
or like Steve Bennon or others that have had this
same fate. And I can almost predict to you without
having a I was gonna say a silver ball, without
having a crystal ball, that nothing is going to happen.
Nothing's going to happen. I don't believe anything's gonna happen.
Am I am that skeptical. Now, my brother thinks that
there are going to be mass arrests and military tribunals
(01:32):
and all sorts of things going on under the cover
of night after we hear the emergency broadcast systems go
off and we can't even execute an actual warrant on
something that's actionable, like these people not showing up. So
let that sink in. They're untouchable. They are the deep State,
and it's mutually assured destruction. Right. It's like, hey, they
(01:53):
got nukes, You got nukes. That's just how this thing works.
You don't want to rock the boat. You do what
you can to slow down their flow, and you keep
it moving Honestly, Trump is people paint them to be
something he's not. He doesn't like the smoke. He doesn't
And this is not a negative, it's not a drawback.
I think it's a good thing. Trump is always focused
on tomorrow. He's always focused on building the next building,
the next project, the next big thing, the next item
(02:15):
on his agenda. Right, just look at how he moves.
Any other government would have went in there and taken
out the entire regime and taken over Venezuela and made
a thirty year process out of it. Government contracts, Galore Northromp,
Garummin Raytheon, Halliburton, you name it. Trump goes in, takes
one guy and his wife so that he's not lonely,
goes in, takes them, cuts a deal with the other ones.
(02:38):
That's it. Now they're like, hey, are you going into
Iranause reports that thousands are dead in Iran because of
the regime, because of their protests. Trump says the killing
has to end. That's it. That's all he says. He
doesn't say We're going to go in there and take
out the Ayatola or the Supreme Leader or any of those.
He just says the killing has to end or else.
(03:00):
It's still not regime change here else is some sort
of price that you'll pay. And earlier today he made
an announcement that in fact, Iran has agreed to stop
the killing, which I think is a good thing, right,
I think it's a really really good thing. Let's listen
to this one kind number four, go right ahead.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
We have been notified and pretty strongly.
Speaker 6 (03:22):
But we'll find out what that all means. But we've
been told that the killing in around is stopping, and
it's stopped, and it's stopping, and there's no plan for
executions or an execution or executions.
Speaker 4 (03:38):
So I've been told that a good authority. We'll find
out about it. I'm sure if happens, we'll all be
very upset, including you, will be very upset. But that's
just gotten to me some information that the killing has stopped,
that the executions have stopped, and not going to have
an execution. A lot of people were talking about for
(04:01):
the last couple of days today was going to be
the day of execution.
Speaker 5 (04:05):
So there you go. That's Ed Trompito. Don all this
magnus to forty fifth and forty seventh president of these
United States, does he believe the Iranians, He's given them
the benefit of the doubt.
Speaker 7 (04:16):
Right.
Speaker 5 (04:17):
What's one of Trump's famous lines, We'll see what happens. Right,
That's the New York version of Reagan's trust. But verify
that's all right? Now, as I sit here Wednesday night,
I have no doubt in my mind that the United
States is going to do something to Iran What that
something is, and I don't mean tariffs, something will happen.
(04:39):
Not to mention today, a bunch of cell phones went down.
So to me again, I put on my tinfoil hat
real quick, hold on, let me get it there. It is.
My tinfoil hat tells me that this wasn't an outage.
It wasn't this. This was the Iranians trying to flex.
They're very good with cyber and they said, hey, keep
(04:59):
my and around, we'll try to find out. Right, that's
the Iranians. So I'm almost again this is just me
reading the tea leaves, and I could be reading them
all wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if before the
end of this program or immediately after, we hear about
something happening. Now, if the Thursday edition of This is
America comes around and I'm wrong. Then great, you know,
(05:23):
great that we didn't get into some conflict. But I'm
pretty convinced at this point that we're going to see
some action and it's I don't mean a bomb or anything.
I mean something similar to Maduro I think. But hey,
I could be wrong. It's probably wishful thinking. Anyway. I'll
keep you up to speed on that as as we
(05:44):
progress through the program. But I want to continue because
there's a lot more on this. The hit parade here,
the UH folks over in Iran, they say, hold up
a second, this is this is this is all a lie.
We're not killing everybody at random and just shooting people
(06:05):
all over the place. No, no, no, this is it's
the Jews ran, It's Israel. They're always up to no good.
Listen to this.
Speaker 8 (06:14):
When terrorist elements led from outside, you know, entered these
uh you know protests and started to shoot to shoot
you know, police forces, police officers and security forces, and
they were terrorist cells. They came in. They used dish
(06:36):
style terrorists, you know operations. They got police officers, burned
them alive, they beheaded them, and they started shooting at
police officers and also to the people so as a result,
for three days we had in fact fighting against terrorists
(06:57):
and not you know, with the with the it was
completely a different story.
Speaker 5 (07:03):
All right. So again just to bring up to speed here,
this is the Iranian Foreign Minister abbass Aragichi or Aragchi.
He was on the Fox News channel today in an
interview that he did and he says, no, no, no, no,
this was the Israelis. There was a plot to drag
Trump into this mess. This is not us. We're not
(07:24):
out here killing our own people. It's the Israeli's killing
our people and then killing our police. Now listen, I
don't for a second think that this is actually the case.
But I also don't put anything past anybody. I understand
right how history works, and we've seen things like this
in the past. But if somebody here is lighting a
(07:45):
Reichtag fire, I don't think it's the IDF. I think,
in fact, it's the Iranians. Just my thought. Yeah, play
the tape.
Speaker 8 (07:55):
The reason I have to explain, and this is important
why they started to shoot at For one reason, they
wanted to increase the number of deaths. Why because President
Trump has said that if there are killings, he would
interveene and they wanted to track him into this conflict,
and that was exactly an Israeli plot. They wanted to
(08:16):
track the president of the United States in this conflict.
So they started to increase the number of deaths by
killing or diner people, by killing police officers, by starting
a kind of you know, fighting inside the different cities.
Speaker 5 (08:31):
Well, Minister Abbasa Raakhi, I hope I said that right.
I don't know the outcome of this, but I'll tell
you this, even if what you're saying is true, it
doesn't sound good. It doesn't sound good, doesn't sound good
for you, doesn't sound good for you, your boss, or
your peeps, because quite frankly, the United States is in
(08:52):
a very advantageous position if if Iran is further disabled,
further weakend. I don't think we need to be goaded
into war. I don't think we do. I think that
we are ready to go when it's necessary. I mean,
if you don't think President Trump and Pete Hegseth are
ready to rock and roll with our one million man
(09:15):
strong army, with the type of equipment that we have
that all sorts of reporting is going on about these
really interesting weapons that we have, where we don't have
to even put anybody on the ground. Basically, we got
these sound cannons, long range acoustic devices and whatnot. Doesn't
look good for Iran, so be guided accordingly, mister minister.
(09:35):
Now people on the ground, they're out there saying, look,
there were bullets flying all over the place. You be
the judge, Yeah, little sound effects there. This is clear
(09:57):
as day to me that some nefarious stuff is going on.
People ask me, why do you support Israel? Why do
you think there's such an ally? This is exactly why.
This is exactly why we've got this problem. The president
can decide to flex and say, look, I'm not gonna
sit here, just like the genocide in Africa, just like
and again, these are all unique situations. Right, I'm painting
with a boodbrush here, just like the situation in Venezuela.
(10:19):
I'm not gonna sit here and watch this happen. And
guess what. He just makes one call Hello bb Hello,
letter rip, Homie letter rip, Right, and that's it. It's
all like Kin Kong. I don't know about you, but
I love the idea that we've got people ready to
go in the Middle East, ready to rock and roll.
Where the United States doesn't have to get directly involved. Right,
we watched their back, they watch hours. I couldn't think
(10:41):
of anything better, especially with people like Katar playing the
fence right, praising Trump, smiling at Israel, helping out Iran,
helping out Hamas. This is not an easy game. It's
not black and white gray most of the time. So
you got to have somebody that you know is your
road dog down there. That's my opinion. I'm a lot
(11:03):
more hawkish than President Trump, for sure. Or I'll replace
the word hawkish with reckless, irresponsible, impulsive, right, because I
think what he's doing is measured. I think what he's
doing is judicious. I think what he's doing is exercising wisdom,
and in many ways I think it's fair. I think
I would be, quite frankly, less fair. I always tell people, listen,
(11:24):
use all of this against me. If you ever hear
me say I'm running for president, I'm not playing right.
I would you give me all those the keys to
the kingdom. I'm testing out all the toys because I
wouldn't wait to hear that there were twelve thousand people
killed in Iran, and I don't know that there were, right,
I listened carefully to what President Trump says. When he
says we're hearing lots of numbers, we hear all different numbers.
(11:46):
You know, it's his way of saying, look, something's going on.
I don't know what it is. It's kind of fishy,
but it's not good. Right. He's very careful. Yesterday I
heard him say something I thought it was. People make
fun of him. They don't understand how smart he is
and how he's outsmarting people. You can call him a
con man or whatever you want, but he's slick. And
he said something he said and this will happen in
the next short period of time. I love it. Next
(12:10):
short period of time. How do you hold somebody to
the next short period of time? You gotta love that.
You gotta love that. When I say what is your
plan or whatever, I'm not going to tell you what
my plan is. Right, He's always very direct, and even
if he's being coy about certain things that he can't
give a direct answer on or he won't give a
direct answer on. This is not the mark of somebody
(12:32):
that's a rube. But this is not the mark of
somebody that isn't thinking things through or being impulsive and
for everybody that criticizes Trump, have you never watched an
entire season of The Apprentice? Have you not seen all
the strategy that's employed, even at the most minuscule, simplistic
level of a charity competition on television. It was there
(12:53):
that I saw, Wow, Trump is a lot more than
just a billionaire playboy. That's on TV. That's where you
really see this art of the deal stuff, this cunning
that he has. This Barbara Corkran, the New York real
estate tycoon from Shark Tank, she once said, let's see
if we can get that clip. It's a great clip,
and I don't know if we could find it, but
if we can. Barbara Corkran once said about President Trump
(13:18):
that he has this unique, uncanny, unusual ability to immediately
read a room and speak to the insecurities of the
people in that room. Now, some people immediately write that
office he's a grifter, he's a con artist. Not everybody,
not every grifter has disability. He's not gaining their confidence
to take advantage of them. He's looking for blood in
the water to see where he can make a deal,
(13:39):
where he can win, where he can have the competitive
advantage that to me is in weakness. That to me
is strength. Okay, I'm told we have this audio of
Barbara Corkran at the Business Insider Ignite conference and she's
speaking with a reporter in a panel discussion. It's a
one on one interview. Go ahead, letter, rip it for
a moment.
Speaker 9 (13:57):
You knew Donald Trump way back in his New York
real What a charmer. And you know, despite you know,
whatever you say about him, even you say he's a
great salesman, what is his sales technique? Why is he
so great?
Speaker 3 (14:13):
He is a phenomenal salesman. He's not a great salesman.
He's probably the best salesman I've ever been in the
company of. And I spent a lot of time with
Donald because he's five years older than me, I think
four years and he was raising his company right at
parallel with me raising mine, and so I did a
lot of work with Donald, and I can tell you
he is the best salesman I've ever met in my life.
(14:35):
I watched him walk into a situation, for example, selling
the Plaza Hotel to the Chinese at of Hong Kong.
It was in Taiwan. A group of Asians wealthiest families
in Hong Kong. And they were there because they were
interests in the Plaza Hotel. And I was a broker
or my brokers. We were all at the table and
we're like really hungry to make this deal. And I
(14:57):
watched him totally not pitched the Plaza Hotel, bury it
and talk about the land masses on the Hudson River
and the buildings that would be there. They were not
the least bit interested. They just wanted to buy the
Plaza Hotel like a customer, I want to buy it.
And Donald was near bankruptcy, really needed the money to
bail out. And I watched him. I thought he was
(15:19):
so off. He wasn't. They bought the land and built
all those towers on the West River as we know
it today. You know all those Trump towers along the river.
That was the deal. How did he do that? I'll
tell you what his masterful mind does. He is a
genius at picking out the vulnerability of someone's personality. He
(15:40):
can smell it, sense it, and trust it. Okay, So
for example, if you were to walk into a business
meeting with Donald and you're saying whatever you're saying, I've
seen it time and time again. He could see what
your weakness is and not physically reach oldre and put
his finger on it, but he just could see what
you weak This doesn't play into it. Not the nicest
(16:02):
thing in the world, but it's a certain gift I've
never seen anyone else. And that's exactly what he did
in the election. I think he put his finger on
what the weakness was, the vulnerability of people, and he
knows how to touch it just so, and people go
along for the rye. He is a phenomenal salesman. I
have to say, really, he could sell anything, and he did.
Speaker 5 (16:32):
Barbara Corkoran from Shark Tank wise words. Now, I could
care less about the president's ability to sell things. My
concern here is his ability to put his finger on
the vulnerability of our enemies. And I think he's hit
them every single time. Every single time, he's been able
(16:52):
to make a deal with them and say, look, you
don't really want to get bombed and spend for every building. Listen,
I'm a builder. Let me do it. In my Trump voice,
I'm a builder. You could hire me, We'll build it
for you. But no, what he does is he presents
them with the with the real vision, the real opportunity.
At the end of the day, timpot dictator is typically
(17:13):
like power, and oftentimes the power brings the money. And
I would say, in many cases, money's really what most
people are after because money can help you have a
lot of the power you want. Now, in some rare cases,
they don't care. Right, in the case of Vladimir Putin,
(17:34):
he's been impenetrable, right, he doesn't care about the money.
He's got plenty. He's got plenty stashed, He's got plenty
of the government that he runs. Plus I believe it's
ideological for Putin. He really does as he's written about.
He wants Ukraine to cease existing. He wants Europe to
(17:55):
be Russia, the motherland, Mother Russia. That's what he wants.
My opinion, I believe that to be true. Why because
he told me so, and I read this document, or
at least a part of the document. It's a long document.
I think it's like five hundred pages. Bottom line, I'll
take a president like Trump any day of the week
because it's that skill that we need, and right now
(18:16):
that's what he's using against the Iranians. His ace in
the hole is the military prowess that's the leverage. So
he's definitely never going to use his ace in the
hole unless he absolutely has to brilliant move. Let's see
how it goes tonight, in the next couple of days.
All right, it goes. I'm coming right back. There's more
from Jacob frey Fry, the I should call him Jacob Frenchfry,
(18:39):
the mayor of Minneapolis.
Speaker 4 (18:42):
Right.
Speaker 5 (18:42):
He says, nobody got run over. This whole thing's a
fake pony fraud. And meanwhile, CBS News reporting that the
officer that got hit in fact has internal injuries like
internal bleeding. So keep it locked right here. I'm Rich Valdez.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
This is America. This is America.
Speaker 10 (19:29):
Barah in glace or primal noumerodos blara, Rich Valdez e
s nos America.
Speaker 11 (19:37):
Awara.
Speaker 5 (19:40):
All right, I goes. Welcome back, Rich Valdes, keeping your
company tonight. Our phone numbers eight seven seven Valdes and
the number one. And I want to get into this
stuff that was going down in Minneapolis, right the maker,
Jacob frey Fry, had some stuff to say. But before
we do that, there's a report from CBS News, CBS
(20:01):
News reporting that the officer has internal injuries internal bleeding
and whatnot. And again this is being underreported. In my opinion,
I don't think anybody knows. And those that are, you know,
kind of adverse to this, they don't care. But the
reality is, the guy didn't just wake up bleeding, right,
He didn't wake up with internal bleeding. He got hit
(20:22):
by the car. And one report said from PBS News,
it said the officer who was not struck by the
car seemed to be knocked back, knocked back by what
the wind. I mean, these people are out of control.
They just don't want to admit that using a car
is considered deadly for uce and that's beyond me. But anyway,
(20:46):
listen to what the Fox News channel had to say
about this. Report checked this out, and.
Speaker 12 (20:52):
We have some new information. Department of Homeland Security sources
telling Fox News the ICE agent who was hit by
Renee Nicole Goods suffered internal bleeding in his Torso. That
is the same Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent who was
seriously wounded last June when he was dragged by a
car during a tempted arrest. Yeah, a car rammed him
(21:16):
and then dragged him. And by the way, there was
street camera footage of some of that. The CBS local
station WCCO covered that story last June extensively. Will keep
you posted on the situation as we get new information.
Speaker 5 (21:31):
Well, and you look at that right, and again I'm
making a point of this trying to be obvious about it,
because I didn't hear that widely spoken about today. And
we're not the point where the detractors are always going
to say something bad. But if you're trying to get
to the truth and trying to say, hold on a second,
let's look at this subjectively kind of like the father, right,
(21:51):
the father of this individual, or the excuse me, the
father in law, former father in law. She was married
to his son right before she left the son to
be with the woman. And this individual, the father was
on CNN last night and listen to what he had
(22:12):
to say. I should have led with this clip because
really it's the most explosive one. Listen to this.
Speaker 13 (22:18):
No nothing about charges or anything that just an investigation
into what happened in terms of the ice agent's actions.
But they were according to the prosecutors resigning today, pressuring
them to investigate Rene's actions and Becker, her wife's actions.
How do you feel about all that?
Speaker 10 (22:36):
Well, you know, I'm not blaming anybody. I mean, it's
a hard situation all the way around. It's hard for
the you know, for everybody involved. I mean the US agent.
You know, at first I didn't see the footage where
you know, he was actually you know, he was actually
been ran. I mean I seem to bump of the
car hitting you know, hitting his legs, and so in
a you know, in a flash left that It's it's
(22:57):
hard to say how you would react from my understanding
that he had been through that before, maybe dragged or something,
and so, uh, you know, like I said, it's just
it's just a hard situation for everybody.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
Uh.
Speaker 10 (23:09):
You know Becca, you know it's it's she's a great
person as well. I mean, you know, I don't have
any many enemies. I love everybody, and and that's what
the Bible tells us to love our neighbors as we
love ourselves. But you know, I think there's some bad choices,
and the words is for the rapt of God would
come up on the chilling disobedience, and you know it's it's, uh,
I don't blame us, I don't blame Rebecca. I don't
(23:31):
blame Renee. I just you know, I just wish that
you know, if if we're walking the spirit of God,
I don't think she would have been there.
Speaker 5 (23:38):
That's that's the way I look at it, all right.
He said, if we're if we're walking in the spirit
of God, I don't think she would have been there.
That is a mic drop moment if I've ever heard
one total mike drop. He's not looking to judge, but
he's saying, I think some choices were made. Yeah, and
(24:01):
I'm going to jump to the conclusion that the bad
choice that was made was by his former daughter in law, Renee.
He said he don't want to blame her, but he says,
if we were walking with the Lord, this wouldn't happen.
And I agree with that. You didn't see a bunch
of ministers there. And I'm not trying to be holier
(24:23):
than anybody. I'm not. I'm just saying I don't think
he's talking about the cop that was there doing the
job he was supposed to do. Right, Jesus said, render
unto Caesar? What is Caesar's render unto the Lord? What
is the Lord's The ice agent was supposed to be there,
(24:43):
the other person wasn't necessarily supposed to be there. They
were permitted to be there, and again not in the
capacity of using your car to interfere and obstruct this
federal investigation and whatnot. So I hate to sound brash,
I really do, right, because that's a huge being and
her life was lost. But I also I pray to
(25:04):
God my kids are not that crazy, that ignorant to
the fact that you can't play around in real life.
That in real life you mess around with the police
like that and use your car as a ram, and
you're gonna end up like that. That's a fact. This
(25:24):
to me is one of the most telling things. But
Mayor Jacob Prayfrye, he says he stands by what he said.
He doesn't care what cop got injured. He doesn't care
about anything as far as he's concerned. Nobody got hit,
nobody got run over. The whole thing's a lie. These
guys are murderers.
Speaker 14 (25:37):
Listen to this in hindsight, mister Mayor, was that the
appropriate response. I stand by exactly what I said, And
to be clear, what I was responding to was an
immediate conclusion that had been drawn by the federal government
where they said one the ice agent was acting in
self defense and then shortly thereafter saying that the victim
(25:59):
was a stick terrorist. We need to be doing everything
possible right now to have a full and fair investigation.
And my deep concern is when the conclusion is drawn
by the government that's actually doing the investigation itself, it's
much harder to trust the investigation. We need to make
sure that the American people can earn and gain that trust.
Speaker 5 (26:22):
So now it's all about excuse me. So now it's
all about the government deciding and defending a position. Let
me tell you something. If you call nine one one
and your local police show up at your house and
some sort of shooting happens, do you think the FBI
comes and does the investigation for your town police. They don't.
(26:45):
The town police take a statement from their own cop.
They do the investigation, and that's it. If there's an infraction,
there's an infraction. If you want to bring some sort
of other charge, you can try. But that's typically how
this works. This is why police have shootings and they're
typically cleared because that is why. One of the tools
(27:07):
on their tool belt is a firearm. And this guy
seems to forget that, and so did him as good.
And I don't want to speak ill of the dead,
so I'm not speaking ill, but I am saying you
can't mess around with people. Your ignorance of the law
is never an excuse boom, period the end. That's just
(27:30):
a thing, and borders are Tom Holman was on the
Fox News Channel this morning talking about what's going on
in New York City because apparently Mayor Mumdani very upset
that one of the City Council employees was taken into
ICE custody and they get into a little back and forth.
Listen to Tom Homan on the Fox News Channel.
Speaker 7 (27:52):
I mean they set the stage, the Biden administration and
these sanctuary cities set to stage. We're responding to the threat.
Speaker 5 (27:58):
So you're in New York for a reason.
Speaker 14 (28:02):
Is the new mayor working with you to allow you
into the jails now as of today?
Speaker 11 (28:06):
No?
Speaker 7 (28:07):
What is your measure of communication with him with him
now on the job.
Speaker 11 (28:11):
None?
Speaker 7 (28:12):
None. He's made it clear he's not work with Ice.
And you know, when Mayor Adams was here, you can
hate or love Mayor Adams. So we had an agreement
that he would allow us back in the Riker's Island
to wrestle US public safety threats and safe security, safety
and security of the jail, but a city council shut
it down.
Speaker 5 (28:26):
So you know, what's what happens.
Speaker 7 (28:28):
I know he met with the President. We'll see down
the road if he's going to help arrest public safety threats.
And we're not asking any NYPD to be immigration officers.
We're asking their cops to work with ART cops to
remove national security threats and public safety threats in New
York City.
Speaker 12 (28:43):
It would help them too.
Speaker 5 (28:44):
Absolutely, you make New York City safer. Absolutely. So Tom
Homan is trading barbs here with Mandani, Why well because
real simply Mundanni's outraged over the arrest of a city
council employee by the Department of Homeland Security, and now
they shared that the individual arrested as an illegal immigrant,
with the arrests for assault. According to DHS, the employee,
Rafael Andres Rubio Bohorcis, fifty three years old, is a
(29:08):
criminal illegal alien from Venezuela. The agency said that despite
Rubio Bhorcis being employed by the City council of America's
largest city, he has no work authorization and was illegally employed. Further,
the Department of Homeland Security said that Rubio Borcas is
a criminal with a criminal history, including an arrest for
(29:28):
assault in New York. Mister Rubio Bohorcis entered the United
States on a B two tourist visa in twenty seventeen,
which required him to depart that same year, according to
the Department, and he didn't. DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin
said that this is a in fact, a criminal illegal
(29:49):
alien with no authorization who was employed by the City
Council of New York and it's shocking. She said, this
takes sanctuary city to a whole new level. This criminal
illegal alien has no at to be in the United
States and has a previous arrest for assault. Under President
Trump and Secretary Nome and the United States is no
longer a safe haven for criminals. Mam Donnie and other
(30:11):
city leaders have demanded the man's release as of yesterday,
and Mayor Mumdani saying I am outraged to hear a
New York City Council employee was detained in Nassau County
by federal immigration officials at a routine immigration appointment. Mam
Donnie wrote in a statement on X now, why are
they going to routine immigration meetings and whatnot? Very simple.
(30:37):
When they have information that something may not be on
the up and up, they either go to the jail
where this person is being held, which you heard. He's
not letting them into Rikers Island. None of these sanctuary
cities are allowing their law enforcement to participate with ICE.
So ICE now has to go outside the box. It's
not like they're going to go home and not do
(30:57):
their job. They have to work that much harder to
find them in the streets, find them at work, go
after them wherever they may be. So if they know
they have an immigration appointment, just because you show up
to your immigration appointment doesn't mean that you're on the level. Now,
one might argue, well, he wasn't on the level, why
would he show up. It's a good question, but it
(31:19):
doesn't mean that one is outside of the realm of
being arrested. We've seen this stuff happen. Look a friend
of mine who I went to high school with, he
chose a life of crime, and he did his thing,
went to jail, did four years in jail. The day
he was released, he had paid his entire debt to
(31:39):
society he walked out of the jail. In front of
the jail was the ice van and they said, all right,
now that you've paid your debt to the United States,
you still have violated immigration law and we are going
to deport you. This guy has been in this country
since he was two years old, doesn't know his home country.
(32:02):
His parents brought him here when he was young. He
was a legal resident. But when you're a legal resident
and you commit certain crimes, they will send you right
back home as a condition of your residency. Only if
you're a citizen do you get to create a problem
like that and stay. And I say that laughingly because
(32:23):
even I didn't know that, But Marco Rubio recently made
the case, said yeah, in fact, that they would do it.
They would revoke citizenship if they had to. That The
United States reserves that right. And I understand why we're
going to let you into the country. It's under the condition,
the precondition that you're not gonna be a rule breaker, right,
(32:45):
And I guess there's some discretion there. But if they
want to say hardline rule, you can be here, but
you can't break laws. The minute you do, you got
to go. Then you got to go. And he's not
the only person this has ever happened to. That was
always the case until right until Biden and the Obamas
and these state governors got involved and said, hey, we're
(33:06):
no longer going to participate in the legal process in
the Administration of Justice. We believe that it's our right
to nullify federal law and disobey federal law and say
that we don't care what you're doing. We don't care
what you feel, we don't care about the law. We're
going to help these people evade custody. And there you
(33:26):
have it. That's the bottom line anyway. So we're going
to continue straight ahead. I got a little bit more
on the hit parade. Next up, we're going to talk
about hmm. You just have to stay tuned and find out.
Don't go anywhere. I'm ri Trialdez.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
This is America. This is America, all right.
Speaker 5 (34:12):
I mean, he goes, welcome back. It's Rich Valdez kiping
your company tonight Wednesday night. And I want to go
to the phones. Let's see who's out there in telephone land.
Let's do a speed round. Give me what you got,
let's go. It's open phones across America, open phone in
(34:34):
America is one of my favorite segments. I get to
check in with you all the American people. We got
calls from Florida, Indiana, Chicago, and so many other areas.
I want to start off with the Chicago land area.
Let's go to Rick calling us from Springfield. It looks
like go right ahead.
Speaker 15 (35:00):
From Springfield, Illinois. Wanted to talk about sports that are
getting involved with politics and the platforms that are being
used to undermine the president.
Speaker 5 (35:13):
Tell me more about that.
Speaker 15 (35:16):
I believe that you know that there's a line that
can be drawn there the I think the guys like
Steve Kerr and Doc Rivers are undermining the president and
there's no place for that in sports, whereas athletes professing
(35:37):
their face is a completely different topic that doesn't undermine
the president and doesn't turn the nation against authority. So
that's my opinion. I'd like to hear yours.
Speaker 5 (35:49):
Thank you, No, thank you, Rick. I appreciate it to
get to hear from your shout out to Chicago area.
And here's my thought on this. It's a very good question.
My thinking here is this, I believe that everybody has
a First Amendment right right. You have a right to
be stupid, you have a right to be wrong. That's
my opinion of what not. You per se right, but
(36:09):
one one has that right. Now. Do I think that
these sports people should get involved in this type of thing.
I don't, but they have every right to. I think
it's bad for their business for exactly what you're bringing up.
Not only is it bad for the morale of the country,
and not only is it bad for the governance of
our nation, but it's also it could be bad for
(36:31):
their business. Right. There are some people that might say,
you know what, I'm not getting involved in this anymore.
I know, I, for one, am one of those people.
Sometimes I'll go back because you know, sometimes things are inevitable.
But I can tell you when that whole thing happened
with Colin Kaepernick and whatever. With Nike. I didn't buy
a Nike product for at least five years. And it's
not like I buy a ton now. I happen to
buy one pair of sneakers that I really liked, and
(36:52):
I said, you know, I'm going to get these. But
I hadn't bought something in five years, and I do
like Nike products personally, but I said, no, I'm not
going to do it. I'm not going to support I
want them to feel the impact. I don't know if
they did or didn't. I didn't buy that many things
to begin with. But if there's a million like me
in our country of three hundred million strong, and again,
Nike's all over the world, and there's people all over
the world that love Americans stand for these similar issues,
(37:15):
I think you can make your point. I also I
remember going to Target once with my kids and I
saw that they had a pride section and I thought
that was wrong, right, And my kids said, oh, look Rainbow,
and I thought, this isn't a conversation I need to
be having. So my choice. I'm not coming to Target anymore.
And they used to have the most amazing Black Friday deals,
(37:36):
but I stopped going to Target, and by and large,
I still don't go to Target. And that was probably
ten years ago. Now does Target care, I don't know.
Did they close a bunch of stores recently, Yeah, they did.
Did have to do with me, I don't think so.
I think it had to do it a lot of
other things similar along these lines, and they've figured out
we've got to be more mainstream. We can't continue to
cater to the leftist crowd because they're not the majority.
(37:59):
There's a whole lot of flyover country in America. There's
a whole lot of people that And I don't say
flyover country pejoratively. I say flyover country because that's how
it's seen by many pejoratively, but I don't mean it
that way. There's a lot of people that love America
and stand for what's good now in terms of an
athlete professing their faith again also their First Amendment right,
(38:20):
and I don't think that hurts. I don't think we
should condone these things in society where you know what
I talked about last night, upholding people not talking about
politics and not talking about religion. So these coaches, I
guess they listened to my show and they said, I'm
going to talk about politics. I meant it in the
(38:41):
context of doing it in your private life, your personal life,
your conversations. Don't be shy, don't be afraid to get
into these things, but to do it respectfully. I don't
think they were engaging in political discourse. I think they
were engaging in propaganda saying that these ice officers were murderers.
And I don't have those clips available. I wish I did.
(39:02):
But if we could grab them and throw them in,
we will. But the point that I'm making is you
can do what you want, but be judicious in the
process because anything else is just uncalled for and quite frankly,
could cause more harm than good. Rick, thanks for the call, brother,
Let us continue. I want to go to all right,
(39:25):
let's go to John giving us a call from Virginia.
John go right ahead, brother Richie.
Speaker 11 (39:30):
It's Johnny Jacob Jingoheimer Schmidt.
Speaker 5 (39:33):
Johnny, thanks for being such a good supporter on titter Twitter.
Excuse me, what's on your mind?
Speaker 11 (39:38):
Brother, dude. I cannot tell you how grateful I am
to have you in my ear in these times. Brother.
You know, I'm looking at all this immigration, illegal immigration,
fighting about illegal immigration, and it keeps coming into my head,
these words, this thing my buddy keeps telling me. He's
(39:59):
told me for years. I got a buddy. He grew
up in Eastern Europe. He's in his late teens during
the when the Berlin Wall fel so like he lived it,
you know, and he always tells me, Johnny, you know
what's great about your country is that if you just
follow the rules, you can make yourself an amazing life.
He always tells me how where he's from in Eastern Europe.
(40:20):
He just no matter how many rules you follow, you
still got to bride people. They're still going to come
down on you can't get things done. And I don't know.
I just we should all be so grateful to live here.
Much love, brother, keep going man, peace.
Speaker 5 (40:36):
Thank you brother. I appreciate it, and you know what,
You're one hundred percent right, Thank you, John. This is
one of those things where we oftentimes don't live in
that to be cliche, that attitude of gratitude. We need
to be grateful for this country. We need to be
informed patriots that know what's going on, that care about
what's going on, make an impact in our immediate community,
(40:57):
whether it's helping our local church, doing some sort of
charitable function. I think that's always important. But at the
same time, we got to be thankful. And I'm not
telling you this is something I do that you don't do.
I'm telling you this is something that I need to
do right. Oftentimes I get stuck in that mode where
I'm so used to being blessed, I'm so used to
things going well, I'm so used to life as we
(41:21):
see it right. My car works every time I get
in it. I have a wonderful place to sleep every night.
My children are healthy, I'm healthy. I'm so used to
that that I forget, honestly, to thank God for those
things sometimes, and I try to remind myself of that daily.
You gotta increase, at least for me. I gotta increase
my own level of gratitude. I gotta stay in. Gratitude
(41:44):
keeps me humble. And it's good to be expectant. It's
good to have what I call spoiled Brat syndrome. Meybeing
the youngest of my family, I've been able to achieve
a lot of things in life because of that spoiled
brat syndrome. I'll call it SBS, because because you don't
stop until you get what you want right, it makes
(42:05):
you tenacious, it makes you persistent, relentless. But at the
same time, you can forget that to say thank you,
stop and smell the roses and enjoy. Let us continue.
Speaker 16 (42:18):
Kim, I'm in Warrenton, Virginia.
Speaker 5 (42:21):
Him, Kim, what's on your mind tonight?
Speaker 16 (42:23):
And I would like to know where I can listen
in the Washington, DC area. I can't seem to get
that information anywhere.
Speaker 5 (42:32):
Well, Kim, thank you for the call. Listen. You can
catch this show typically by nine pm. We are rocking
and rolling, and if you don't see it on your
iHeartRadio dot com or Spotify or wherever you're trying to
listen to the show, just be patient, hit refreshed. It
is coming. It's on its way. We do this stuff live,
and if there is something going on in the news
(42:52):
that may slow down or whatever. I don't have an
answer for you there, but I know that we sometime
between nine and midnight, depending what time you're nine PM
is because I don't know what time zone you're in there,
and you should be on the East Coast according to
what you said here. Either way, the best way to
tune in is going to be coming very soon. We're
going to be doing the show via video. And this
(43:15):
was something I've wanted to do for quite a while
and we weren't able to do in the previous situation.
It just didn't seem to work out. So we'll be
doing a live stream and that'll be kicking off soon.
I wish I had an exact date for you, but
there's other powers that be bigger than me. Plus there's
some other stuff. There's going to be a I don't
want to say too much just yet because I really can't.
(43:35):
But very soon, I would say, within within a few
weeks time, we will have the announcement that I've been
looking forward to making, one of many. Right, There's a
few big things that are going on this year, but
that's part of it. Streaming video is definitely part of it,
and the distribution of it and the nuance is related
to that. So you'll be able to catch that live,
(43:56):
which I would suppose would be on all the usual
suspects right like YouTube, dot com as well as the
social media that allow us to live stream the show
live each evening. So keep your eyes peeled and your
ears open for that. Kim in Warrenton, thank you so much.
I appreciate that. Now you stay beautiful. Kim. Thanks thanks
(44:21):
and amigos. I love talking to you guys open phones
across America. This is probably one of my favorite things
to do, is speak to people all across the country.
It is always a pleasure to call in as often
as you can. Eight seven to seven Valdes number one
eight seven seven Valdez one. If you get me while
I'm actually here and we can get you on. We
(44:41):
will get you right in. If not, leave a message,
follow the prompt and we will get you on that way.
Either way, you're gonna make your way on the show,
and I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts. Straight ahead,
we're going to continue with our recap and so much more.
Don't go anywhere. I'm Rich Valdez.
Speaker 1 (44:55):
This is America.
Speaker 5 (45:07):
The forty fifth President.
Speaker 14 (45:08):
Donald Trump thinks it's an honor to speak with Rich Valdez.
Speaker 4 (45:12):
Oh, very good.
Speaker 5 (45:15):
Budget honor. Thanks Rich. The honor is all yours, conservative
talk with a dash of sofrito. Now here's Rich Valdez.
All right, and he goes, welcome back, Rich valdesk keeping
your company. And this is a a promise that I
made to Barbara, Barbara Gibson, who handles some of our
(45:35):
advertising and the administrative stuff for the show, who said
that I don't remind the listeners often enough about your
ability to put your message out on this program. And
some of you don't like the ads that are on.
This's different types of ads, just FYI, Especially if you're
listening online, you get the ads that someone somewhere right,
(45:57):
whether it's Spotify or iHeart that they think are relevant you.
I don't choose those ads. I don't approve those ads
as ads have nothing to do with me. The ads
I have the control over are the ones that I
personally endorse. So when you hear me talk about just
Facts or any of the other sponsors we've had on
this program, those are things I personally believe in, and
people often ask me, how do I get you to
(46:18):
endorse my product? Well, the good news is Barbara handles
that stuff. But you can do it. We can work
something out. There's always an opportunity for things like that,
So I just wanted to let you know that is available,
and for those who are interested, you can reach out
to Barbara. And the bottom line of it is, I
(46:40):
do enjoy spotlighting products that I believe in. Oftentimes, when
you hear me talk about a product that I've endorsed
on the air on this program, these are products that
I've used, I've used and I've benefited from, and I
think you should use them too, which is why I
do that. So again this is a editorial note. I
(47:01):
don't want to bombard you with more advertising speak. I
know there's plenty of that, but it keeps the show free.
And a lot of people have moved to a subscription model,
and we've been thinking about doing the Valdez VIP model,
where you get no ads and you just pay a
small monthly subscription. However, I think this should be free.
I think you should just listen to the ad and
(47:22):
maybe you benefit from the ad and you don't have
to pay anything unless you want to buy something. So
when you hear me talk about sea crane radios, these
are fantastic radios, especially for this format, this medium. If
you want to listen to Spotify, iHeartRadio, YouTube, whatever, any
type of web based type of thing, you can do
(47:43):
that through the c crane Wi Fi radio. It gets
all sorts of stuff, right, It's like having an Alexa
that you can take anywhere you like. So keep that
stuff in mind, right, the stuff that I talk about,
these are legitimate things that really really benefit you. And
we have national quite frankly international reach. I was looking
the other day, but ninety percent of our audience comes
from the United States, but we have a growing amount
(48:05):
of people from Brazil, from Argentina and a couple other
countries out there. So as that continues to grow, you
know you'll learn more about it, obviously, but just keep
that in mind for those of you that represent national
interests and want to reach the type of audience that
we reach, which is a serious, smart conservative crowd. All right,
(48:27):
and he goes. That's the end of that editorial. Learn
to coming right back with my wrap up, don't go anywhere.
Speaker 1 (48:31):
This is America.
Speaker 5 (48:33):
We live in a remarkable time in human history right now,
one in which our technology has dramatically improved our living standards.
That's because the people that design and build the modern
wonders that make our lives better are bound by physical reality,
a world in which things either work or they don't work. Unfortunately,
(48:53):
those who oversee our political and educational institutions aren't limited
by these same constraints, instead of implement their agendas by
exploiting people's ignorance on issues like taxes and immigration. So
where do we go to get the facts? Well, you
listen to this as America. But if you're online, you
go to just facts dot com right now and enter
your email. This way you can get free weekly emails
(49:16):
with rigorously documented facts about the most pressing issues facing
our nation, and then share those facts as much as
you can with everyone. You know, this is a time
of dire need for truth in America. Our national dialogue
is riddled with fake news and fake facts, and our
country desperately needs a reliable starting point for informed debate
(49:36):
over our nation's future. Our friends at Just Facts started
that organization for such a time as this. So join
the battle for truth by signing up right now at
just facts dot com. That's jus t fac ts dot com.
Just facts dot com.
Speaker 1 (49:57):
This is a Marria.
Speaker 5 (50:02):
He's making podcasting great again. This is America with Rich Valdez.
All right, I mean he goes. Welcome back, Rich Valdez,
keeping your company this Wednesday night. Lots to discuss. We've
discussed a lot of things already. I wanted to get
into a little bit of Venezuela before I let you go,
because you know, things there seem to be dying down
(50:22):
in the media. But at the same time, they're still
going to say a lot of questions, right Marco Rubio
talking about the oil in what is going to happen
with the oil and how that's going to look and
what it's going to be. And I think it's it's
a good thing for the United States. Listen, to this.
Speaker 17 (50:41):
About to execute on a deal to take all the oil.
They have oil that is stuck in Venezuela. They can't
move it because of our quarantine and because it's sanctioned.
We are going to take between thirty and fifty million
bowels of oil. We're going to sell it in the
marketplace at market rates, not at the discounts Venezuela was getting.
That money will then be handled in such a way
that we will control how it is first, in a
way that benefits to Venezuelan people, not corruption, not the regime.
(51:04):
So we have a lot of leverage to move on
the stabilization front.
Speaker 5 (51:07):
We are in them. So they are in the process
of selling the oil at market rate, not to China,
not to Iran, not to Russia. None of the Kamis
or the Islamists are going to get their hands on
Venezuela as oil. And they're now in partnership with the
United States and they're going to start making money again.
(51:31):
And if these regime people want to stay in power,
they got to play ball with Rubio and Trump. I
think this is a win win, What say you? Right
to me, it seems like an absolute brilliant idea. And
anybody who's been there will tell you that back when
the United States was in charge, they were incredibly happy
with the outcome. They were incredibly happy with the economy,
(51:52):
they were incredibly happy with a whole lot of what
was going on there. By the way, tomorrow, I want
to talk about some of the real we're getting from
the crazies. There are a bunch of crazy liberal people
that are just having meltdowns crying on video. This is
a new thing. They cry on video, and I have
to say, if you're crying on video the logo, you're
(52:13):
likely going a little crazy here, right, There's something wrong
with you. And I mean they' in all seriousness. I
make jokes because we're on the radio and everything, but
I am dead serious when I say that. It's incredibly
important for you to see something that say something. Right,
if you see somebody it's making videos crying online and
putting a video of them crying, I mean maybe once twice.
(52:37):
I don't know if there should be a number to it,
but what they're saying. I heard one woman say she's
going to be aiming for the the mid sections of
mega men with her pistol. I heard another woman say
that she just wants could just sit here and cry
with me. I'm going to make a video tomorrow, maybe
in the morning, and I'll post it to my Instagram
(52:57):
and maybe to some of the other other social media
and I'm going to make fun of these people, and
that's kind of part of what we do here, right,
But the other side, the empathetic side, I mean, he
really does feel bad, right. I might close it out
with a one of those commercials, or a clip from
one of those commercials with the hotline for people who
need mental help, because and I say it, yes, tongue
(53:20):
in cheek and jokingly, but I don't think it's truly
a joking matter. I'm going to make light of something
that is serious in the most serious way I can,
and I'll do that tomorrow. But the reality is, this
is some of what's going on there, and there's a
lot of people that are just, in my opinion, just
falling all over themselves. Oh. I meant to talk about
(53:44):
this yesterday and I didn't get to it. This is
an interesting one, and maybe I shouldn't get into it
right now. But how do you tease two days in
a row there's a guy running for governor? How do
think he's got a shot against the Congressman Byron Donald's,
who I've put my support behind. However, this guy says
he's going to charge a fifty percent tax on Only Fans.
(54:07):
That's the subscription service that is best known for women
that do pornographic videos. And I thought that was pretty interesting, right, Actually,
it's an idea. I think that makes sense because there's
a whole lot of people in Florida doing that. I'm
sure there's a whole lot of people everywhere, but for
a state that doesn't have income tax, this is a
great source of revenue and a way to discourage, you know,
(54:30):
videos of ill repute. If you will listen to.
Speaker 2 (54:32):
This ray so called Only Fans creator in Florida, you
are going to pay fifty percent to the state on
whatever you so called earn via that online degeneracy platform.
And that money, that money will be used to fund
our education system, will be used to fund the crisis
pregnancy centers, will be used to fund the first of
(54:53):
its kind mental health zar for men in particular, because
men men, I have been told for far too long
that they are guilty of masculinity, that they are guilty
of all of society's ills. I'm not going to stand
for that slanderous lie. What I'm going to do is
I'm going to end this lie that toxic masculinity is
(55:14):
responsible for all these sins and ills of society. Tax
if you are a so called only fans creator and you're.
Speaker 5 (55:22):
Going to be paying this tax to the state of Florida.
And let me tell you again, I think this is
actually a good idea from James Fishback, Florida gubernatorial candidate.
So I'm curious to know you know your thoughts. Let
me know what you think. Do you think that's a
good idea, it's a bad idea. I think it's a
great idea. I've always supported the sin tax idea. You
(55:43):
know you don't want to ban alcohol, no problem, put
a hefty tax on it. You don't want to ban cigarettes,
no pride. Listen, I like a good wine, but I
get it, I understand. I mean, if you want you
need tax somewhere, great. I don't like taxes to begin with,
but if you there's a way that you could discourage
things that are not good for you, go I would
also support m McDonald's tax. Now I'm sure that you
(56:04):
know they're going to say that's unconstitutional somehow it's food.
How could you, you know, discourage people from eating food.
I think we need to discourage people from eating food
that's bad for you, like we talked about last night
with RFK Junior or doctor Marty mcleary, the Surgeon General,
all saying that you know, bread is bad for your,
grains are bad for you, oatmeal they said it was great,
it's also bad for you. Push us up your glycemic index,
(56:26):
makes things worse than they need to be. So what gives, right?
What gives is I think you got to use the
power of the purse, the power of the bully pulpit,
the power that you have politically. You got to use
what you got to help the best you can. Now,
I'm not saying to be a dictator and authoritarian. Ultimately,
this is a government of the people, for the people,
(56:46):
and buy the people, and it should remain that. I
don't I'm not suggesting that it shouldn't be. But I'm
just suggesting that if we are going to make deals
with Democrats for taxes here, there or anywhere else, let
us make them in those areas, make the concessions in
those areas. Let's talk about tax breaks on small businesses.
Let's knock down these tax rates, you know, ten percent,
(57:08):
and take that ten percent and add it to one
of these sinful things. Now, I know those lobbies are
gonna freak out and say, I'll never advertise on that
guy's show. He's talking about. You want to advertise on
this show. Listen, you don't have to. You've never heard
me say buy a blank, blank beer, buy a blank
blank wine, and I like wine. I'm not against them.
I'm just saying, if there's a place we got to
(57:28):
do it, cigarettes things like that. You know, I don't
want the cigarette lobby after me or against me. But
at the same time, many states already have a high
tax on cigarettes. That's why they went to vaping. Also,
something I don't recommend. I don't think it's good for you.
It's very bad for you. You got these foreign chemicals, stuff's
coming from China, popcorn lung and all that craziness. Listen.
I've had competing lobbyists in the past on the show,
(57:51):
and each of them make a compelling argument. Right, I'm
always on the side of liberty, which is why we
still have these things, not because of any choice of mine,
but there's a reality. People have a choice to make
bad decisions. Like I said earlier, Pe, you have a
choice to be stupid. So don't be stupid. Be an
informed patriot, as Ronald Reagan called us to be. Remember
(58:13):
the quotes that we end our show with from Lord Acton,
Hamilton and others. The only thing necessary for evil to
triumph is for good people like you to do nothing.
So do something, know something, say something, stand for something,
because if you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything.
(58:33):
I start up broke, see my take care, good night,
and God bless you America. I'm Rich Valdez, and this
is America.
Speaker 1 (58:42):
This is Ama.
Speaker 8 (01:00:00):
Passssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
