A Thanksgiving stream with Teddy Long shouldn’t feel this cozy and this candid, but that’s exactly what happens. We open with food—banana pudding, butter beans, Cracker Barrel confessions—and quickly slide into why rituals and family traditions matter just as much in wrestling as they do at the dinner table. From there, the energy shifts to the weekend’s big draw: WrestleCade in Winston-Salem. We talk who’s appearing, why fan conventions are a lifeline for the culture, and how meeting legends creates memories TV can’t touch.

When the mailbag hits, the stories hit harder. Teddy drops a wild road tale about a speed trap, a night in lockup, and the Hardy Boyz walking into the same small-town jail. It’s raw, funny, and exactly the kind of behind-the-scenes look that reminds you the real grind happens far from the cameras. We also pull back the curtain on locker room realities—washing gear, staying professional, and the quiet habits that keep a crew running.

The heart of the conversation centers on storytelling. We get honest about modern wrestling’s biggest gap: the thread that makes fans care week to week. WarGames hype without stakes falls flat, and even John Cena’s farewell run needs a stronger build to feel legendary. Along the way, we swap quick-hit name associations—Bobby Lashley, Juventud Guerrera, Doink, Batista—and share a standout memory of Batista going from airport pickup duty in OVW to world champion, a perfect example of a narrative arc done right.

We don’t keep it narrow, either. JCW and Insane Clown Posse come up as proof that alternative promotions can thrive by offering experiences that feel personal and electric. The throughline is clear: give fans identity, consequences, and characters with edges, and they’ll show up, cheer loud, and stick around.

If you care about the craft, the culture, and the community, this one will hit home. Tap play, join the live chat on Thursdays at 7 pm ET, and tell a friend who loves wrestling stories that actually go somewhere. Subscribe, share, and leave a review to help more fans find us.

Now, I want you to look, this isthe real deal here, man.
I had uh, well, I went by uh hermom's house, and her mom had
some sweet potato pie, so Ididn't get a chance to eat the
banana pudding today, but I gotthe sweet potato pie now.

SPEAKER_00 (03:53):
Here, let's see, how can I get that's a piece of

SPEAKER_00 (04:05):
That's just not right.
And I know she can hear me mostlikely in that room.
So uh, Denise, you still owe mesome uh banana pudding.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I figured she did.
Man, I we we had a strangeThanksgiving this year.
We uh normally we have all thekids and the grandkids over, but

(04:28):
this is one of those years whereyou know you got so I I got five
kids and I got 10 grandbabies.
So, you know, there's a lot offamily members and they all want
to see everybody.
So it becomes where one yearit's your year, one year it's
not your year.
This wasn't our year, so wedecided we're gonna go to
Cracker Barrel.
That was our Thanksgiving.
I had turkey at uh crackerbarrel, which I'm gonna be

(04:50):
honest with you was actuallyvery good.
I enjoyed it.
Uh it's not your typical uhThanksgiving, but uh that place
was packed out, man.
They just a lot of people insideuh having Thanksgiving meals.

SPEAKER_04 (05:02):
But well, a lot of people, you know, nowadays
they'd rather do that and cook, you know.
That's cooking that's a job nowbecause I watched Denise, man.
That that ain't no joke atcooking.
So a lot of people don't want todo it, they'd rather just go out
and eat.

SPEAKER_00 (05:13):
Now, now there's some women who love to cook
because they know they're goodand they know that they can make
a lot of people happy.

SPEAKER_04 (05:20):
Yeah, that's Denise.
She knows she's good.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah.

SPEAKER_00 (05:25):
Some women who are working on a stove.
Yeah, I imagine Denise uh lovesto be around the kitchen and say
and my wife's the same way whenit comes to certain food.
She likes to be in the kitchen, but uh, you know, not a lot.
And I always tell her it's like,do you really have to cook a
turkey?
Why don't you just buy onecooked, bring it home, heat it
up, and serve it?
I don't understand.

(05:46):
Make the kids bring somecasseroles over or some desserts
or something, you know.
No, no, she's gotta do it all.
No, no, she's gotta do every bitof it.
She, even though we don't havethe kids, we'll get on the
wrestling in just a second here.
Even though we don't have thekids this year, she still made
her lasagna that she makes onevery occasion that takes place.
And you know, it's a birthday,anniversary, whatever.

(06:07):
There's gonna be a pan oflasagna around.
And she made two pans of lasagnato give to the kids, even though
they weren't here and shedelivered them today.

SPEAKER_04 (06:16):
Okay, it's an Italian uh Thanksgiving, I
guess.
That's what I was gonna say.

SPEAKER_00 (06:21):
That's family, yeah, brother.
All right, look here.
We've got a I'm surprised by howmany people we have in here
right now.
We got some questions too.
So, uh, guys, that really thankyou so much for popping in here
with us.
I'm trying to bring the firstone up.
Zach is always usually one ofthe first ones saying, Happy
Thanksgiving, Teddy and Mac.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, Zach.

(06:42):
Also, let's see, we have uhRamos John, or John Ramos,
maybe.
How is live treating you, Teddyand Mac?
Uh I'm I'm fat and happy rightnow, you teddy.

SPEAKER_04 (06:54):
Well, I'm not fat and happy, I'm happy, but I'm
enjoying my life.

SPEAKER_00 (06:59):
Let's see, John Adams uh saying happy
Thanksgiving as well.
Happy Thanksgiving, John.
Back at you, John.
And let's see, uh, who else havewe got one here?
Um, George Carl, happyThanksgiving as well.
Hey, George, thanks for cominginto the room and uh happy
Thanksgiving to you.

SPEAKER_04 (07:16):
Thank you, Joyce.
Happy Thanksgiving.

SPEAKER_00 (07:18):
And guess who else is in the room with us?
Pretty classy lady, prettyclassy lady saying hey, and uh
uh and she actually says sheenjoys cooking as well.
Yeah, you know, I grew up at atime when uh my mom she loved to
cook, her mom loved to cook, butthey're after my mom, it seems
like women weren't so interestedin the kitchen anymore.

(07:40):
I mean, they were moreinterested in just they can go
out and get takeout and throw itdown, and that was good enough.
And so I stopped getting thosereal home-cooked meals that I
grew up with.
Uh I I still have like my wifenow.
There's one thing I want atleast once every couple of
weeks.
I want pork chops withblack-eyed peas over rice and a

(08:01):
salad and iced tea.
And that's just an old southernmeal that I remember my mom
making, and uh, it was one of myfavorites.
And my wife makes it to thesame, it tastes just like it.

SPEAKER_04 (08:11):
I had something today that I hadn't had in many,
many years.
I remember hearing about them, but uh, remember a kid I might
have had them, and it was uhDenise was telling me telling me
about butter beans, and uh so Ihad them today, and I really
enjoyed them.
They were really good.

SPEAKER_00 (08:25):
Uh you've never had butter beans before today.

SPEAKER_04 (08:27):
Well, yeah, I think I was a child.
It's been so many, many years.
I hadn't thought nothing aboutbutter beans, but I remember the
name butter beans.

SPEAKER_00 (08:33):
Yeah, that's why I used to get in trouble because I
would always get butter beans.
I love butter beans, they're oneof my favorite, what I call one
of my favorite vegetables.
And then I'm told, well, it'snot really a vegetable.

SPEAKER_04 (08:45):
Yeah, well, we yeah, like I said, I had them today
and they they were really good.
And I had a uh a stuffing too.
Uh golly, man, I don't know whatshe put in that, but uh it's
unreal.
I I gotta have some of that tojust take around a bit, maybe
keep in my pocket.

SPEAKER_00 (09:02):
Denise, I know what you put in there.
I I know the city, you put lovein that.

SPEAKER_01 (09:06):
Don't lie, you put love on that.

SPEAKER_00 (09:11):
Anything in the news wrestling-wise, you know, I
didn't really prep a whole lotof stuff up for tonight's show.

SPEAKER_04 (09:16):
But well, I'm just gonna let everybody know that's
uh big night for me and uhwrestling fans tomorrow night in
uh Winston-Salem, uh NorthCarolina, there at the Ben
Convention Center, the big dealevery year, WrestleKade.
I'll be there along with uh RonSimmons, JBL, and many, many
other top superstars.
So uh gonna have a great timethere.
I hadn't been there in a while,so I'm gonna be really happy to

(09:37):
see some of the fans and uh justenjoy myself uh Friday and
Saturday over at the conventioncenter with WrestleK.
But tomorrow night, tomorrowafternoon, we kick off.
I'll see you there.

SPEAKER_00 (09:46):
And by the way, again, if you want to be a part
of the show, just drop us acomment.
We'll throw it up on the screenhere.
Uh, I've had somebody actuallysend a message going on.
Where's Bill tonight?
Bill will be along us withoccasionally on this show, uh,
hopping in and answeringquestions and kind of joining
in, especially because uh he'sone of the original three Migos
from our older show that we usedto do.
Uh so it's always good to haveBill around, but we got to guess

(10:08):
we still got to get scheduled inhere and stuff like that.
So uh Bill will be back.
Trust me, he'll be back.
Uh, but in the meantime, it isThanksgiving.
Myself, Teddy, Bill, and evenDvon want to say thank you.
And by the way, also, rightafter that, we open the mailbag.

SPEAKER_03 (10:26):
Oh, Thanksgiving day is drawing near.
Since Plymouth rock us, turkeyslive in fear.
You're giving thanks for whatyou got.
Family, friends, and food andfun, but madness, oven's hot.
Fill your plates up to the sky.
With cranberry, cornbread, stopping twins, and flakes and
pies.

(10:47):
So be thankful for this dinnerthat your life's so free
complete.
Be thankful that you're not awalking feathered slab of meat.
Be thankful when you're happy, and thankful when you're free.
But most of all, be thankful.
Be thankful that you're gone.

SPEAKER_02 (11:20):
Oh, we got letters, we get the letters every day.
We let the letters.

SPEAKER_01 (11:34):
Let's find out what you got today.
Oh boy!

SPEAKER_00 (11:50):
All right.
I but my you know, look here.
I if you could hear what happenswhile that song is on, I'm in
the background.
I'm singing along goofy withthis song.
My wife pops her head in.
Like, what is wrong with you?

SPEAKER_04 (12:02):
Well, I I couldn't agree with her.
I I would imagine I would pop myhead in too if you were singing
that song.

SPEAKER_00 (12:08):
Look here, if I had the option to be able to put the
audio over some of this musicand be laughing or talking about
things in the background, Iwould do it.
That's how I used to do my radioshow.
You never knew where I was atany time.
All right, let's see.
We got Paige from Facebook whowants to know since the name of
the show is Road Trip AfterHours, what was the worst road

(12:29):
trip you have ever taken, Teddy?

SPEAKER_04 (12:33):
Oh man, I don't know.
Jesus, I'm trying to rememberwhat is the worst.
Oh, I know what the worst roadtrip was.
Well, maybe I had a worse one,but I remember one time uh me
and Brian Hebner, Earl Hebner'sson, we was uh Iowa, I think
that's what it was.
We was in Waterloo, Iowa, somewhere with some parts of
Iowa.
Anyway, we was coming back andwe was no, we was headed to

(12:55):
Milwaukee, and we was comingback, and I guess I was thinking
I think it was a speed trap.
I'm not sure.
Okay.
But anyway, we got stopped, wegot pulled over.
So, you know.
So we got pulled over, and thenthe next thing I uh listen, now
this is this is unreal.
So, you know, we got a littlebud in the car, so we're smoking

(13:18):
and everything.
So, but we you know, we didn'tsay nothing, you know.
So by this time, the guy takesmy driver's license, and then he
recognizes us, so I'm reallythinking now, well, maybe we
won't have no problem.
So he didn't say nothing aboutthe weed, and then all of a
sudden he takes my driver'slicense and he comes back with
my driver's license and he sayshe smelled weed on my driver's
license because I think when Iwas roading it, I probably had

(13:40):
the scent on my hands.
So that's what got me.
So, man, they took me uh asHeavner took us all, took us
back to jail and everything, man, locked us down.
Next thing I know, here come theHardy boys.
They got them, they're bringthey're bringing them in.
So, so this was a trap.
They set a speed trap for us.
So, anyway, they let us theysaid we signed our own uh bond

(14:01):
or whatever it was, so we didn'thave to go back up there, but I
did have to send money up thereto get a lawyer and pay 600
bucks or something, not to haveto go back up there.
But uh that was that was apretty bad road trip that night.

SPEAKER_00 (14:13):
Yeah, that that would not have been fun.
Curly man popping in sayinghappy Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving, Curly Man.
Always good to have you in thisroom.
You've been another one of ourregulars every week.

SPEAKER_04 (14:22):
Yeah, thank you very much, player.
Happy Thanksgiving to you.

SPEAKER_00 (14:25):
Look here, KJ Britton is in the room saying
happy Thanksgiving.
Same to you, happy Thanksgiving.
Pretty classy ladies asking, areeither of us going to watch
Survivor series?
She says that I'm not reallylooking forward to it.
I teddy, here's the bad thing.
I I can't tell you who's in theSurvivor series.

SPEAKER_04 (14:46):
Well, I've like I said, I'm pretty sure I'll be
doing some other things.
I know I won't be watching it.

SPEAKER_00 (14:51):
Yeah, I I it's not that I I'm not interested in it,
but uh I'm just not interestedin the product right.
I need some stories and I'm notgetting them right now.
And when I start getting those,I'll start watching again.
Uh but I'm not making it, I'mnot making it a habit because I
got so many other things towatch.
I mean, just past uh what justlast night we dropped uh
Stranger Things, the brand newseason on that actually it

(15:14):
caused problems for Netflix uhwhen they uh dropped it because
everybody tried to watch at thesame time.
And when you've got like that, when you have an option of
watching a show like that versuswatching a Monday Night Raw or a
SmackDown or an AEW, it'sanybody really right now.
It's I rather watch StrangerThings.
That's a much better draw for meto go watch.

(15:35):
I'm more in you know in tunewith that than I am with what
the current product is inwrestling.
Uh so and that's you know, everybody's different.
I get that.
You may some of you may lovewhat they're doing right now.
I just know it's nowhere near asclose as what it once was.
Uh let's see.
We also have uh Pee-wee uh inthe room.
By the way, your shirt went out.
Uh, well, actually, like Monday,Tuesday, something like that.

(15:58):
Uh saying, what up, Mac andTeddy?
Happy Thanksgiving.
It's good to go.
Look here, look here.
I I Nick, uh, we're gonna getyou in here.
Actually, uh, next let me knowhow you look next uh Thursday
night.
I'd love to get you on the shownext week, Joe.
Uh, the hardest working guy inthe business saying happy
Thanksgiving.

SPEAKER_04 (16:17):
Yeah, Joe, uh Nick Patrick, my man.
Uh, me and him travel the roadmany, many, many years, man.
I owe a lot to Nick.
God uh I really love him, man.
What a great friend to have, man.
And what a great guy to travelwith back in the day.
So, yeah, Nick, if you get time,we'd like to have you on and
talk about it.
Nick has his own uh companythere in Georgia.
He runs his own uh independentwrestling and uh doing a great

(16:38):
job in Georgia, real good job.
And I think a lot of you peoplemay need to know about that.
So, Nick, if you get time, weMac and I'd like to talk to you.

SPEAKER_00 (16:46):
Yeah, that's uh Deep South Wrestling is the group
that he works with.
And uh what I like about Nick isthat he's one of those guys,
too, that it not only does hehave these shows that he puts
on, but he you know he helpstrain these guys, they learn
from Nick.
Nick is a Nick's not just areferee, Nick was actually a
wrestler at one time.
He's actually in the ring.

SPEAKER_04 (17:07):
Started in deep south in uh in uh uh mid-south,
yeah with Bill Watts down there.

SPEAKER_00 (17:12):
Yeah, sure did.
So, I mean, and a lot of peoplemay not know that.
So, Nick is full of knowledgeand he's got some great stories
too.
I've heard some of them.
Uh yeah, Nick is hilarious.
Nick is Nick's fun to hangaround, let's just put it that
way.

SPEAKER_01 (17:24):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00 (17:25):
Let's see.
Uh, we got Elijah saying, question, what do you guys
think?
If, for example, and I'm notsaying it would, is any weird
way somehow that Vince McMahoncould come back and buy his
company.
Just a thought.
I have heard people knock thataround saying that maybe we

(17:46):
still might see Vince McMahonowning WWE one day.
I just think the only way that'sgonna happen is if Saudi buys it
and somehow puts him in charge.

SPEAKER_04 (17:56):
Well, let's look at it like this.
You know, the TKO only owns halfanyway, I think.
I think WWE still owns half ofthe company.

SPEAKER_00 (18:04):
Is that true?
TKO TKO owns basically themajority share of everything, so
they make all the calls.
That's why that's why we seethese ticket prices the way they
are, Teddy.
You know, they're going up sohigh.
It's because they're making thedecisions and not the people who
normally deal with the actualcustomers.

SPEAKER_04 (18:19):
Well, you see what Vez usually does with people
like that, he's just sit backand he watches them fall.

SPEAKER_00 (18:25):
That's that's well, yeah.
How long you know, it's like howlong do you let that happen,
though?

SPEAKER_04 (18:30):
Well, right now, you know, with the the way money is
and stuff in the world, youknow, people ain't gonna be
losing too much money too fast.
And once that starts happening, you know, when people get smart
enough that they realize they'renot gonna pay these high ticket
prices, you know, they'd rathernot, then they're gonna they're
they're gonna make some changesthere, then something will
happen.

SPEAKER_00 (18:48):
Uh yes, Pee Wee.
I did send out four X.
Is it I hope that was correct?
That's what you told us.
So I sent you a four X.
Uh yeah, yeah.
It took a uh a crate to get thatthing out, but uh no, just
peace.
Uh let's see.
Uh Nick saying, yeah, let's doit soon.
Yeah, Nick, uh, I'll get withyou soon and we'll figure out uh
what works for you.

(19:09):
But uh yeah, definitely want tobe on the show.
Pretty classy lady saying, uh,I've noticed a lot of the older
wrestlers and people in thebusiness say the dressing room
instead of the locking room.
Uh difference from calling it adressing room or a locker room.
Teddy, was that a big deal?
Uh, did guys just call itdifferent things?
Locker room, dressing room?

SPEAKER_04 (19:28):
Yeah, they just, you know, some say locker room, some
say dressing room.
You know, they're not certainthat you had to say those
things.
That's just how it went.

SPEAKER_00 (19:37):
You know, it's uh in I'm because I'm sitting here
thinking in independentwrestling, you just always ask,
you know, where's the dressingroom?
Because if you ask for thelocker room, it may not be the
dressing room.
Uh you always had to ask wherethe dressing room was.
Uh so I yeah, I think thatthat's the only reason why more
guys probably call it a dressingroom.
Is that on the independence?
That's basically what you callit.

(19:57):
Uh, let's see, Renee Adamspopping in saying, Happy
Thanksgiving and happy turkeyday to you.

SPEAKER_04 (20:02):
Thank you.
Happy Thanksgiving.

SPEAKER_00 (20:04):
All right.
I I feel like we've asked thisquestion before, but I'll ask it
again.
Uh, this is coming from Jeff inTennessee, who wants to know who
was the worst smelling personyou ever had to work with.

SPEAKER_04 (20:21):
Oh God, man, I tell you.

SPEAKER_00 (20:26):
I've heard a lot of stories while you're thinking
about it.
I've heard a lot of storiesabout Vader.
I've heard that he always hadtended to have a little bit of a
stench uh when he was in thering, but some of the guys just
wouldn't wash their gear.
And when you sweat in that gearand you don't wash it, oh
brother.

SPEAKER_04 (20:42):
Well, uh King Kunk Bundy was one of those guys.
Wasn't yeah, Bundy, he was alittle on the soil side.
Uh that may I think that wasthat was about it.
That was about it.

SPEAKER_00 (20:55):
Yeah, I I haven't heard of many, and most people I
imagine are not having there'snot that issue anymore.
Uh that was probably more so inthe uh the older days.
But I mean, you who knows?
Maybe some of these young kidsdon't know what a deodorant
stick is.

SPEAKER_04 (21:07):
Uh well, some guys just like that, man.
I remember, you know, when wewas overseas, and this was, you
know, a lot of guys that were onmy team there, you know, I won't
call their names, but you know,I was a guy, and a lot of guys
will tell you, uh, I've workedout all the time and always
found me a lock uh uh wash anddryer.
You know, everybody can tell youthat about me.
I found a wash and dryer when Iwent in the hotel.
I made sure there was one there,or if I could find one at the

(21:29):
arena, some arenas overseas, they had them right there.
And I wouldn't tell this guythat hey, there's a wash and
dryer right here, man.
Wash your stuff, and I mean it'sright there, so you know you're
overseas for 15 days there, soyou gotta keep your gear clean.
And uh that guy didn't do it.

SPEAKER_00 (21:45):
Yeah, there were guys in the independent study
that uh, and it wasn't just methat would notice this because I
heard a lot of guys talk aboutit, but there were guys you
would get in the ring with, andafter you did a match with them,
if they weren't smelling good, neither were you by the end of
the match.
You could smell them on you towhere it would turn your stomach
sometimes.

(22:05):
Yeah, and it really makes youmad.
You're you're like, dude, willyou please wash next time?

SPEAKER_04 (22:11):
Um, you know, when guys sweat, and then you that
really, you know, that dries, you know, that that odor from
that, you know.
That's one thing about the ironsheet, God rest his soul.
He was a guy that took a shower,he stayed in the shower about an
hour.
I mean with a lot of guys usedto go.
She used to showering, you know, but yeah, he was one thing about
him, he would stay clean.

SPEAKER_00 (22:30):
There's no tell what the chic was doing in the shower
that but he'd be in there a longtime.

SPEAKER_04 (22:34):
Ah, not yet, Bubba.
Not yet.

SPEAKER_00 (22:39):
Let's see.
I am Dwayne.
Uh, hello from the Philippines, and happy Thanksgiving.
Thanks on Mariah May.
Oh, thoughts on Mariah Maynowadays in NXT, all the way
from the Philippines.
That is cool.

SPEAKER_04 (22:51):
Yeah, thanks for watching us, man.
All the way from thePhilippines.

(23:16):
that?
The um I don't know.
Who knows?
Christian from Buzz Sprouts uhgave me.
Go ahead.

SPEAKER_04 (23:25):
I thought you wanted to uh did we ask this question?
He was asking us something aboutour thoughts on Mariah May.

SPEAKER_00 (23:32):
Oh, I love Mariah May.
I'm not sure.
Yeah, I'm gonna tell you, Idon't know how she's doing in
NXT.
Teddy, do you know?
Do you watch?

SPEAKER_04 (23:39):
No, no, no.
I I watch that every now andthen, but I I I don't know
exactly how she's doing.
I think she just went there, right?

SPEAKER_00 (23:45):
Yeah, she's under a different name.
I she's not Mariah May, and uhDwayne may know, but I I want to
say it's Blake something, maybenow.
Blake Blake Monroe, maybe is thename she's going by.
She's a beautiful woman, she isa very striking woman.
Uh, and I can understand whyanybody would want her on their
roster.
Uh let's see pretty classy layssaying, uh, thanks, y'all, for

(24:09):
going live today.
This is a treat.
Algorithm.
Thank you.
Pretty classy lady kind of tellme what the word I was looking
for.
Yeah, it helps the algorithm.
Uh, so yeah, share, subscribe, leave a comment.
And uh, we're trying to getthese numbers up more and more
each and every week.
And uh, we appreciate it whenyou do that.
Renee Adams uh popping insaying, if anyone needs shirts

(24:31):
made, get in touch with me onFacebook Messenger.
All right.
There you go.
Hey, look, see, we'll sayanything that goes.
Well, we'll say most anythingthat comes up.
If it's really bad, it's notgoing on the screen.
All right, Christian from BuzzSprout uh has a name
association.
We got about five more minutes, and we'll probably get some more
questions in here before it'sover with.

(24:51):
But uh, let's start with one ofthe names he's got on the list.
Uh, Bobby Lashley is the firstone.
Any thoughts on Bobby Lashley, memories, anything?

SPEAKER_04 (25:01):
Um, not really.
Uh great guy to work with, youknow.
Didn't you know we didn'tassociate too much.
He was always on one one doingsomething else.
I was something.
Like I said, we just me and himtalk a little bit by passing and
you know, do with each other, and that was about it.
But nice guy.

SPEAKER_00 (25:15):
Yep.
Uh, the next one maybe we'vetalked about, maybe we haven't.
This is a good one, though.
Hooventude Guerrero.

SPEAKER_04 (25:25):
Yeah, I remember him when he came in.
He was part of the guys that uhCodenan uh brought a lot of
those guys in that doenhancement matches and uh
Hooventude.
Yeah, he was a nice guy.
What about Joink the Clown?
Well, they had two of them.
Uh, you know, I think uh MattBourne was one of them, you
know.
God rest his soul.
And then who was it, Brawler?

(25:45):
Was Brawler the other one?

SPEAKER_00 (25:46):
I don't remember.
I just remember Matt Bourne.

SPEAKER_04 (25:49):
Okay, well, it was two of them.
I remember I thought Brawlermight have been the other one.
I'm not sure.

SPEAKER_00 (25:54):
I'm gonna say that in today's wrestling, I know a
lot of today's stuff isreality-based, but I believe
that there is a place for anevil clown kind of a character
if it's done properly, more likewhat the uh the Joker was with
uh I can't remember the yeah,yeah.
There's certain looks when itmakes it believable that the guy
could be a little unhinged, thatmakes me draw in because I can

(26:18):
believe that this person's nuttyenough to be like this.
Right, and and that's what Ithink we we need more than that
at in-rest characters.
I don't want to see Joint theClown bumping around.
Uh a little bit of makeup togive him that feel.
I think he'd go over well.
Uh Batista is the next one,Teddy.

SPEAKER_04 (26:40):
Yeah.
Uh Batista, a real nice guy, man.
Had a chance to travel a lotwith him.
And uh, I'll never forget thefirst time I met him, he was in
developmental down in uh uh OBWwith uh Cornet.
And uh this is amazing.
Now, here's a guy, Batista, coming and picking me up from
the airport, giving me a ride.

(27:01):
Next thing here later, Batista'sthe the world heavyweight
champion.
So so, but uh, really I I had agood time with Batista.
He was a real nice guy, too, man.

SPEAKER_00 (27:11):
But now him driving you around, too.
I mean, isn't that a respectthat a lot of these guys, the
the younger guys would carry thebags or drive the older guys,
correct?

SPEAKER_04 (27:20):
Well, yeah.
Well, he came to the airport inLouisville.
I went down to do something withCornette, uh, but when he had
the OVW down there, and I wentto do something at the at that
show.
And uh he's the Batista's theone that picked me up at the
airport.

SPEAKER_00 (27:32):
That's that's cool.
Uh let's see, we got um uh Johnsaying, Thoughts on the men's
war game match.
Um, I'm gonna be honest again, Ihaven't watched enough to be
able to speak on it.
Uh, I've got to catch up uhbefore uh this weekend so I can
watch it and understand what I'mwatching.
Uh, but this week has been crazyand I just haven't had a chance.

SPEAKER_04 (27:53):
Well, a lot of changes have been made to it as
far as I'm concerned, the waythat I see it.
So it's not the same.
So I don't really want tocomment on it until we really
see, you know.

SPEAKER_00 (28:03):
I I'm still not crazy about the John Cena
buildup.
We're just uh what three, fourweeks away from his very final
match.

SPEAKER_04 (28:10):
What buildup?

SPEAKER_00 (28:10):
Exactly.
I mean, that this tournamentdoes not build up a in
anticipation for me to watchJohn Cena's last match at this
point.
I don't know who it is, but ofthe people I see, nobody excites
me.
It's like, well, okay, you know,it's a match.
They gotta have a surprisesomewhere, or it's just gonna
fall completely on his face.

(28:31):
And that's horrible when it'sJohn Cena's very final match.

SPEAKER_04 (28:35):
That's not and it could have been done right.

SPEAKER_00 (28:38):
Yeah, it could have been done right.
And I don't, I think it wasdestined to fail from the very
beginning, and I think maybe uhpurposely so.
Uh, you know, uh, you know, whoknows?
Uh, let's see, Renee Adamssaying the hurt clan.
I don't, I'm not sure what thatuh is tying to.

SPEAKER_04 (28:57):
That's uh that's I think they're calling the MVP
and uh Lashley and them, andthey I think they're calling
them that the Hurt Clan becausethey were the Hurt Business.

SPEAKER_00 (29:05):
Yeah, yeah, we hurt people.
Um we hurt people the HurtClinton.
I think that's the hurtbusiness.

SPEAKER_04 (29:10):
Okay, okay.

SPEAKER_00 (29:11):
The hurt business.
I knew it would come to mesooner or later.
Uh see it, Cena will lose thetitle this Saturday.
Uh, because uh he'll pop back inin a second.
Uh there he is.
Hang on, let me pop him in here.
You back?

SPEAKER_04 (29:31):
Okay, yeah.
Man, you were you were gettingso much echoed.
Golly.

SPEAKER_00 (29:36):
Yeah, you know what it was?
It was, was, was, was, was, was, was.

SPEAKER_04 (29:40):
Okay.

SPEAKER_00 (29:43):
Pretty classy when he's saying, I wonder if Cena
will lose the title thisSaturday.

SPEAKER_04 (29:49):
Well, I mean, that I like that's supposed to happen.
I think this is his last deal, right?

SPEAKER_00 (29:54):
Well, here's the thing if he doesn't lose uh on
Saturday night.
And Dominic Mysterio doesn'tregain his uh IC championship,
or well, I think that's the onethat he's got.
Um I don't see how John Cenagoes to his final match with a
belt.
Because at that point you'rethinking, well, he's gonna lose,
and somebody else has got to getthe belt because if he wins, he

(30:17):
wins and has the belt.
It makes no sense, Teddy.
It makes no sense.
Oh God.
All right, let's see.
I'll I'll get a few more of youin here before we get out.
Um let's see, Joey77 saying,Hey, Mac and Teddy, have you
watched JCW?
If so, what are your thoughts?

(30:38):
I have watched JCW.
Uh I've watched uh probably thelast five or six episodes.
Um, and I think you're gonnalove what's coming.
Um, just keep watching.
That's all I can tell you.
This it's a fantastic show, uh,and there's a lot of people who
are starting to get behind thisfor a reason.
And I'd love to see the growththat this uh company is doing.

SPEAKER_04 (30:59):
Who are they?
I don't even know.

SPEAKER_00 (31:00):
This is Insane Clown Posse.
Uh, you may remember them.
They uh they look this is kindof a unique thing, too, with
JCW.
That's the name of the wrestlingpart of their thing, uh the
Juggalo Championship Wrestling.
And after that, some of theirwrestling shows, after that,
they have a concert, and theconcerts are crazy.

(31:22):
I mean, thousands of peoplesitting in there, Fago soda
being spewed all over the place.
It is one heck of a party.
I mean, if you want to go andenjoy yourself, man, that's the
place to go.

SPEAKER_04 (31:35):
Well, that's what the insane claim posse do, they
have a good time.

SPEAKER_00 (31:38):
Yes, they do, they have a fantastic time, and uh so
uh best wishes to all those guysas they get that thing up and
rolling.
Yes.
Uh let's see, Kenneth Becknersaying, Happy Thanksgiving.

SPEAKER_04 (31:49):
Hello there, little Kenneth Beckner.
Happy to hear from you.
I hope you're standing up whereI can really talk to you.

SPEAKER_00 (31:58):
You think he eats just a drumstick?
That's about all he can eat.
I think that's about all he caneat.
That's about yeah, it's probablyall he can hold up with his
little tiny body he's got.
Uh let's see.
Pretty classy ladies, prettyclassy ladies saying, Did Rufus
get him a big plate of turkey?
Oh no, Teddy, Teddy.
Where is where is Rufus onThanksgiving?

SPEAKER_04 (32:17):
I I'm gonna save some of mine that uh when I go
home, I'm gonna take himsomething home.
And so that's when he'll get itall when I make it home.
But no, he didn't make it todaybecause he Rufus is in the
hotel.

SPEAKER_00 (32:31):
Hotel.
So Rufus is eating that nastyhotel food, right?
Wow, freaky dad.

SPEAKER_04 (32:42):
No, he's gonna be like no nasty hotel food.
I they yeah, at this hotel, youhave to bring his own food, so
he's got some real good dog foodthere.

SPEAKER_00 (32:55):
Oh god, so the hotel's so cheap they don't even
feed him.
Jeez, Teddy.
I at least get a free waffle atholiday.
