🎉 Celebrating 100 Episodes of "Roaming with Restless Women"! 🎉
Hey there, amazing listeners!
I can hardly believe it—we’ve hit the 100th episode of "Roaming with Restless Women"! This milestone is a testament to the incredible stories, resilience, and wisdom shared by women from all walks of life. To celebrate, I invited some of my favorite guests back to reflect on their journeys and explore what it means to be a wise woman in today’s world.
Here are some highlights from this special episode that you won’t want to miss:
Cheri Carandanis shared her story of going from Air Force Nursing Hero: Cheri started as a nurse and became a critical care flight nurse in the Air Force, serving during wartime, including post-9/11 Afghanistan. But after suffering two significant brain injuries, Cheri found solace and healing in abstract painting, transforming her right-brain struggles into beautiful, expressive art.
Joelle Kaufman, Cancer Survivor and Advocate, is a tech executive and mother of three, who faced breast cancer head-on, creating “happiness tripwires” to find joy during treatment. In addition to executive coaching and consulting, she now writes and has her own podcast sharing authentic, hopeful stories about cancer, aiming to support others on similar journeys.
Kristy Halvorsen went from Engineering to Firefighting to embracing the "Perfect Unfolding" of her now life! Kristy left a lucrative engineering career to become a firefighter, embracing the adrenaline and camaraderie of the job. After health challenges, she sold her house, bought an Airstream, and hit the road, finding profound personal growth and simplicity in a nomadic lifestyle, writing a fabulous book (due out to the public in January, 2026)!
We shared some key learnings and wisdom:
Resilience and Creativity: Each of us has faced significant challenges and found unique ways to navigate them, whether through art, writing, or embracing new life paths.
Community and Connection is EVERYTHING! The power of sharing stories and supporting one another was and continues to be a recurring theme, highlighting the importance of community in our journeys.
Embracing Change: Life’s twists and turns can lead to unexpected and fulfilling transformations, reminding us to stay open to new opportunities and experiences.
I’m so grateful for this community and the incredible women who have shared their stories with us. Your support and engagement make this podcast a space where we can all learn, grow, and celebrate our unique journeys.
Thank you for being part of this adventure. Here’s to many more episodes of inspiration and connection!
Warmly, Jules

Betrayal Season 5
Saskia Inwood woke up one morning, knowing her life would never be the same. The night before, she learned the unimaginable – that the husband she knew in the light of day was a different person after dark. This season unpacks Saskia’s discovery of her husband’s secret life and her fight to bring him to justice. Along the way, we expose a crime that is just coming to light. This is also a story about the myth of the “perfect victim:” who gets believed, who gets doubted, and why. We follow Saskia as she works to reclaim her body, her voice, and her life.
