Speaker 1 (00:10):
Hello, I'm Megan Lee and I'm Nicole Donyell.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
And this is Romance on the Rocks where two bookish
vitties imbibe.
And if you find romance novelsto be as much fun as we do, then
this podcast is for you.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Today we have a bonus episode for you.
We're just going to startthrowing in bonus episodes
randomly as we feel so fit.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Also, this bonus episode comes to you eight and a
half minutes after.
We started the bonus episodebecause we recorded.
We thought but didn't.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Okay, technically we were recording, just not with
the proper mic channels.
Oh my god, you guys, it's beena day.
We have been book shopping.
Yes, seriously, we wanted to dofive locations.
We did Megan.
What happened with that firstlocation?

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Well, the traffic was abysmal and you made a comment
about how you don't recalltraffic being like this on a
Sunday.
Couldn't figure out why it waslike that.
It was like a mile back up wewere trying to get to a flea
market and apparently thatentire line of cars was for the
flea market.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
And we got some angry hand motions from a very
hardworking law enforcementperson.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Yeah, emotions from a very hardworking law
enforcement person.
Yeah, this poor traffic cop wasout there trying to get jokers
like us to move along and wasnot pleased with us trying to
figure out how to turn into theparking lot.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
But, to be fair, this is my first North Carolina flea
market experience.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
So yeah, oh, I don't blame her at all because it was
probably hours of people like usnot knowing what we were doing,
so we skipped it.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
We skipped it we were just like you know, maybe next
time we'll show up at like 6 amI just kept looking at the
parking lot alone and thetraffic and I was like that's
gonna be the main battle rightthere and we're trying to hit
four other locations in alimited time window on a Sunday.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
So we drove a little bit further down the road to an
indoor flea market In Smithfield.
Yeah, it was lovely.
I would go back again.
There weren't a ton of books, which is really what we were in
the market for, but I did find atrue piece of trash.
Folks.
I cannot imagine that this bookis going to be quote-unquote

(02:28):
good and I really look forwardto reading it.
So I do have something that Ipicked up there.
I believe you also picked up abook there.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Yes, I picked up exactly two books there.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Good, Good yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
And then the next stop was the Goodwill in Garner,
north Carolina, right, andthere I found a few more
treasures.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
You know, I found a couple things, but I can't
remember if I actually picked upa romance novel there.
Those might have just beenother personal books for me.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
I think you're right.
I found some holiday gems there, as well as the classic Fifty
Shades of Grey.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Oh God, I cannot believe you're going to put
yourself through that.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
I have to I feel like I have to.
I have to take one for the team.
I have seen the movies, allthree of them.
I'm so sorry.
I had to find out what the whatthe hullabaloo was all about.
That is just not my jam but Ihave heard so many things about

(03:23):
the writing in the book by ELJames and I'm going to dive in
at some point during thisjourney and I'm just going to
find out what it's all about.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Well, bless you child , Because that would not be my
thing.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
I know you were like really.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
My sister saw that you had purchased that book and
assumed we were both reading it.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Oh yeah, she was like well, good luck with that.
And I'm like, oh girl, I am notreading that, are you?

Speaker 2 (03:50):
kidding me?
No, it's officially my job onthe team to yeah.
So, speaking of which in theeight minutes, we were not
recording previously that wethought we were.
One of the things you had askedme was what draws me to certain
books, so I'm going to throwthat at you this time.
What is drawing you toward thekinds of books you've been
picking up?

Speaker 1 (04:05):
And so what we talked about while we were recording
slash not recording, but nowrecording was that I'm kind of
like a wine bottle shopper whenit comes to my trashy romance
books.
I love a kitschy name, I love afun graphic design on the cover
and I was saying to you, Ithink those are all the wrong

(04:27):
reasons to shop for a romancenovel.
I do also read the synopsis onthe back and if I'm like oh no,
that's not gonna work, then Iskip it.
But yeah, I feel like I'm sowhimsical in my choosing of
books.
For example, one that I'm superexcited about is Low Country

(04:49):
Liar and A Lady's Guide toMischief and Mayhem.
These are the things that I gofor.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
I was saying, too, that I find your choices to be,
for the most part, more classicthan mine.
You're drawn to very classicwriters where, when you show me
the book, I'm like, oh, Irecognize that author, like I've
seen that before, whereas Ifeel like some of the books I
pick out are a lot more kitschyor odd, or just there's

(05:18):
something about them where I'mlike, oh, this seems a little
strange, so I might need to grabthat one.
So I'm looking forward to howwe partner these kinds of books
up for episodes.
We were already trying to dothat a little bit this afternoon
.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Yeah, some pairings we were trying to work out,
where I was so excited At ourfinal and last book stop, a
Popper's bookstore in Clayton, north carolina, which was a
delight and a treat.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Oh my, we didn't even make it in the door there were
I did eventually make it in thedoor but I mean, when we walked
up to the store at what 20minutes, a half an hour, I mean
it was a long time because theyhad five or six bookshelves just
outside.
It was 50 cents a book foranything that was outside and I
loaded up my arms.
Her arms were so full she couldbarely open the door to get into

(06:09):
the place ate for the book shewas finally, like you know, I
think I better go pay for thesebefore I drop them, and I stayed
outside for at least another10-15 minutes yeah you finally
gave up on me and went inside tolook for cookbooks oh, and then
I got distracted by thegardening section.
Yeah, as I do yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
But what I found at that one was these books by
Janet Daly, one of those iconicromance writers, like I said,
the classics.
She's a classic, iconic romancewriter Janet Daly.
She and I did not know this.
How I didn't know this, I don'tknow.
She has an Americana collectioncovering all 50 states, so

(06:49):
there's one book for every state.
Friends, I did not grab all 50states.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
I'm gonna tell you that there are some states I
could give two craps about don'tsay that here, because we might
have somebody sitting in likeone of those states who's
listening to us, just waitingfor their state's book.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
Well, I was waiting for my state book of Wisconsin
and Hawaii because I grew up inHawaii.
But no, no such luck on Hawaii.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
It did not appear at this bookstore.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
No, but I've already started looking online.
Or, if you know, one of ourreaders wants to hook me up, I'm
all here for it.
But I did find other lovelystates, and so when we were
trying to match up books that wecould pair up for various
episodes Right like my booksversus her books yeah, I found
some with North Carolina, andthen you had blue ridge mountain

(07:40):
themed brides and what weresome of the other ones we were
trying to match up?

Speaker 2 (07:44):
well, I, I think, coming up and we're not going to
truly tease it right nowbecause we need to start reading
them first.
We just picked these up so Ihave gotten no more than two
pages into this one um, butright now, heart of nashville.
Yes, I'm excited about heart ofn of Nashville and this is
about country music singers andit's full of passion, supposedly
Obviously Right.

(08:05):
And I was saying I think thisis going to match up really well
with your Janet Daly's,kentucky.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Yes, because that one is called the Bluegrass King,
also dealing with the musicscene.
Exactly.
So we felt that that was a goodmatch up.
Yeah, for sure.
And we were also focused onsome holiday, holiday fun.
Because the holidays areapproaching, here's the thing
Again.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
In normal circumstances that would never
be the kind of book I would grab, so I'm a little bit Are you
not a holiday person.
Oh no, I love holidays, but youknow that the branching out into
these romance novels after Ihave not touched them since,
like middle school, this is sonot my typical genre anymore,

(08:49):
and so this is kind of funbecause I'm I'm kind of going to
a place I haven't been in awhile, and so if I were going to
grab a romance novel in thelast couple of years it 100%
would not have been a holidayone.
So, I am looking forward tochecking these out.
I wouldn't have picked them up,but I did grab two Christmas

(09:11):
ones and a Thanksgiving one, based on you and I sitting down
to kind of have somematchy-matchy.
So I am looking forward to this.
I think it's going to be kindof fun some matchy-matchy.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
So I am looking forward to this.
I think it's gonna be kind offun.
I'm excited.
I am one of those awful, horrible people who has a secret
addiction to those reallykitschy Hallmark movies.
I know they are ridiculous.
I know they are, but I lovethem.
I love Hallmark movies.
Now, to be fair, there's somerotten ones out there there's
some really horrible ones.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
There's something very comforting about just a
classic, clean, fun, upliftingkind of show.
So I get it.
It's not something that Ipersonally sit down to watch,
but I get it.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
I will tell you also in the realm of rom-com.
One of my all-time favoriteNetflix movies is the Holiday.
I don't know that one.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
As a Christmas-esque baby, I love all things holiday
and the holiday I could peemyself laughing.
Because, it's so funny.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Do I need to provide a poncho or something?
For our christmas episode makesure we're all good here maybe,
maybe.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
So I am hoping, because I do love comedy as well
that it's not all seriousoverly hallmarky christmas that
we're diving into this seasonupcoming.
I hope there's some comedy andfun as well, because I think
that's important, honey.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
my okay, just quick upfront spoiler.
My holiday book involves somesort of familiar black cat and a
guy who's dressed up as Santawhile committing fraud.
So I'm I'm thinking we got somecomedy going on.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
I'm excited.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
Can we just real quick turn to the world of
independent publishing?

Speaker 1 (11:08):
Oh, yes, please, Because we have picked up a
smorgasbord of romanticliterature, and some of them are
classic, iconic writers andsome of them are self-published.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
Right.
And so when we were just sayinglike, I feel like you gravitate
towards these classic authors, apparently I gravitate toward
the opposite.
So, I have a few that I amincredibly curious to see how
this goes, that I am incrediblycurious to see how this goes

(11:46):
because they are self-published,and many props to people who
want to put themselves out thereand put themselves on the line
to write what's in their heartand their passion.
I have mad respect for that.
And getting to your goal andcompleting that being able to
see a book with your name on itthat's fantastic.
Some of y'all need to get someeditors.

(12:07):
Maybe have a friend copy check,I don't know, and not just any
friend your friend that maybewent to school for journalism,
or English or teaching orcopywriting, just saying, or
English, or teaching, or youknow, copywriting, just just
saying because, man, there's,there are some things to be
desired, just even reading theback cover, and I am really

(12:29):
looking forward to seeing theactual storyline and hoping I
can get past some of the writingstyle that's coming up.
But I will tell you that someof these books involve vampires.
They involve drug dealers oh,not here for that.

(12:49):
They involve vampire Texasranger zombies.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Okay, that sounds just like an amazing time.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
Yeah, so I didn't grab that mermaid, but I do have
the rest of these things comingup.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
And we've been talking about.
We are on the hunt for avariety of romance novels, oh,
for sure.
We want to explore all thegenres.
I will be honest and say Idon't know if I want to read
about inanimate objects and loveoh.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
I will do that, that will be my.
You can take that one for theteam.
Now you did manage to find ajanet daly uh, two copies of the
new mexico because I meant tograb texas.
Yeah, and I grabbed two newmexico so we will have a day
where we dive into the same book, yes, and see what kind of

(13:37):
lessons we both bring out of it.
And I'm curious to see because, for those of you who don't know
us very well, there was a timeand place where Nicole had to
sit down and watch Rosemary'sBaby.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Oh my God, when I was pregnant.
Yeah, because that's exactlywhat you should watch when
you're pregnant.
It's Rosemary's Baby.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
We watched that movie together and we came out of
totally different lessons.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Oh my god, totally different lessons so.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
I kind of feel like us reading this book.
We will do the same thing, ohprobably.
Yeah.
So, in case you don't know, Ithink that Rosemary's Baby the
ending shows that a mother'slove will conquer all, Whereas
Nicole thinks that if you're nota good Catholic girl, God will

(14:28):
punish you with the devil's baby.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
With the Antichrist, yeah, so just putting that out
there.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
We have a little bit of a different view on life.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
And yet we're besties .

Speaker 2 (14:41):
So looking forward to seeing how Janet Daly's New
Mexico Land of Enchantmenttreats us both.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
That will be interesting.
Are there any books in yourpile of fun that you are super
excited about?
Like you feel, it was the prizeof the day.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Oh, prize of the day.
I do feel like that's probablygoing to be the zombie one.
Yeah, just to let you all know,I've got this zombie one, and
it's not just any zombie.
So, first of all, it's not aself-published zombie, this is
an actual harlequin.
So I'm first of all pumped.
Pumped about that means a realeditor got to it, and the man on

(15:22):
the cover has a very large gunand purple velour suit coat
that's open to show abs thatdon't exist in real worlds.
So is he rocking a six-pack?
I think he is, and it seemslike there are either demon eyes

(15:42):
or wolf eyes floating behindhim.
Oh yeah, and he may or may notbe called what?
Zombie, zombie, moon.
He is standing like in a fire.
I'm not sure if he's like fireresistant not real sure.
So not with the lore he's not.
But hey, we're not teasing thisbook yet.
This is okay.
This isn't even slated, but butthis is a treasured find, I

(16:04):
think.
So I'm pretty excited aboutthat one.
It it seems like a catch, andit was only a dollar.
It was a dollar I okay I fullyappreciate.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Just hold on one.
So I fully appreciate thatwe're in a digital world, and I
myself, for our first couple ofepisodes of the podcast was
using digital versions of books.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Which I told you would be impossible for my brain
to even deal with.
I have a physical highlighterand I'm going through these
books and I'm watching you tryand wrangle with like that, that
digital reader.
That would drive me bananas.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
It's fine because I can screenshot and highlight in
my own way, which which I like, but there's something to be said
for tangible books.
Yeah, I still.
Maybe it's the old schooljournalist who had to splice
three quarter inch tape in meand use a magnet to wipe a radio

(17:04):
tape, but I love a tangiblebook.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
Yes, I don't love the allergies I'm currently
experiencing from our treasuresof today, you guys.
This woman has been sneezing sohard.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
And all my eyes they itch.
I, I don't know, but I mighthave to figure that out, but I
still love a tangible book.
I am that girl.
I have bookshelves in my houseand I know my husband is so
proud of the fact that he likedigitizes everything and
catalogs everything, like ourmovies, and love him for that.
It makes it easy to access ourmovies when we're watching them.

(17:39):
But I love a tangible book.
There's something to be saidfor going to those secondhand
books, like the popper bookhouse that we went to in um that
place is fantastic and hittingthose thrift stores and flea
markets and we scored I I don'tthink I spent more than $50
total Today.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
Today, girl, you spent way less.
I didn't even spend $10.
There's no way you got thathigh.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
Well, because I bought my personal books too.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
Okay.
Well, if we're just looking, though, at your pile of romance
here, so first off my pile ofromance, I know.
So let's just give a shout outagain to popper books.
They are not a sponsor, but Icould live there for a day I
could have spent all day inthere.
Honestly, truly but what didthey tell you when you brought
in your first armload of books?

Speaker 1 (18:29):
they give you a punch card.
Oh my god, a stamp card, yeah, with stamps.
And then, after I offloaded myarmload of podcast books, I was
like, well, I'm to hit thecookbook section.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
And then I was like what you buy $10 worth of books,
yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Like full punch cards .

Speaker 2 (18:44):
I didn't even make it to.
$10 worth of books is what I'mtelling you.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
Okay, I did.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
I was there for so much longer than you and my book
pile was $6.99.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Well, megan, when you buy 15 out of 50 states of
Janet Daly, that racks up kindof quick.
Yeah, that is true.
That is true.
We almost need to like buildyou a shelf specifically for
that, just for my 50 states ofJanet Daly romance.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
Now is this, when I clue you into the fact that
Harlequin also does 50 differentstates.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Oh, no, that is not when you do that.
Sorry, I think I have to getthrough, I told you.
My big fear, though, is thatI'm going to get through two or
three of those and not like themand not like them.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
See, that's when they become listener.
Giveaways yes.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
Because I hate them.
You can have them.
That's exactly what ourlisteners want.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
Well, I hey listeners .
I have saved my last two booksfull of highlighting handwriting
and the permanent marker andthe covers that have fallen off,
and if you want them, you know, maybe we'll do a drawing and I
will send this piece of trash toyou, from my heart to yours so

(19:53):
I'm just saying one man's trash,my friend my fear too is
because I don't like hoardingand I as much as I love having
tangible books and bookshelves.
I'm also worried about being thebook hoarder there's no such
thing as hoarding when it comesto books, just putting I don't
know, but I think there will besome cycling through with this.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
So I think I'm sure I think book giveaways for our
listeners are an excellent idea, because I don't think I can
house 50 states of books justfrom janet daly alone, not to
mention all the other novelsthat we're we're diving into and
at some point in time therewill be one that I won't be able

(20:35):
to give away yeah, there willbe one, that will be like such a
treasure, yeah, yeah, in.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
In fact, you know, when you and I first talked
about this and like what broughtus in and I, I think I might
have mentioned like a book thatmy grandmother had given to my
mom, and it was a thing mysister wrote to me today yes,
she did.
She was texting you she wastexting me and she was asking me
specifically about the title ofthat book and I was not talking

(21:01):
to her about it.
That is how imprinted this bookis on her brain and my brain.
Hilarious, I was able to sharea screenshot with her because I
had just found that specificbook.
So I'm pretty sure she and Iwill end up with that on our
shelves at some point and itwill never leave again.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
I love that we're having all these conversations
with friends and family alreadyabout these books and they're
starting to talk about like, oh,that looks like a fun title, I
can't wait to hear about it.
Or I remember reading thatauthor or, like my mom, it's a
sweeter time withKathleenathleen norris.

Speaker 2 (21:39):
yeah, and again, I really liked the way kathleen
norris you loved how most of thebook went.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
Yeah, I really did I but we did not feel like it was
from a sweeter time by the timeit was done I hated the ending.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
You guys, I really did.
But I really appreciated howshe treated most of the
characters and I really likedher style of writing you.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
You felt some connections to the characters.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
I did so I feel like I would love to seek out a
couple more of her books and seeif I feel that same connection,
if I still appreciate thewriting.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
So I will say Maybe that just was not your fave of
hers, maybe and I've had thatbefore where there are authors I
really like and then I read abook of theirs and I'm like, ooh
okay, that was not up to par.
For example, episode two, judeDevereaux, the Princess.
You know I was talking abouthow that had a lot of
familiarity for me and how I'veread it multiple times.

(22:28):
Now I have to tell you I am aJude Devereaux fan.
That is not my favorite book ofhers.
She has much better books, inmy opinion, than than the
Princess, because the Princesshad a very abrupt ending it
wasn't satisfactory and thewriting's great, but it was
abrupt.
I wanted more happiness in theend, like better closure, an

(22:51):
epilogue or something.
Yeah, yeah, I feel like, heyJude, maybe go back.
Hey Jude, hey Jude, add anepilogue, because I need it for
the princess.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
Yeah, I feel like I can give probably a moment of
appreciation for each book, yes,but I don't know that it will
ever balance out a lot of myoverwhelming nitpickiness, and
so I don't want this to be apodcast where people are like,
oh God, they just keep pickingthese apart, and I told you that

(23:24):
was my concern today.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
I'm like I don't want to just be bashing other
people's books all the timeBecause, as you mentioned,
earlier putting your soul andheart on paper or an ebook is
huge, putting a chunk ofyourself out there for people to
judge.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
Yeah, I don't want to discourage people from picking
up whatever it is to really takethat idea and put it on paper,
so I don't want to do that.
But I also know that I am anitpicky gal.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
I also know that, as broadcast journalism bachelor
degree holders, we're a littlenitpicky gal.
I also know that, as broadcastjournalism bachelor degree
holders, we're a little nitpickyabout grammatically correct
writing.
We are.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
And can we say nitpicky about five more times,
because I feel like we just saidit about three or four and it's
not enough.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
Okay, so.
Department of RedundancyDepartment.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
So I do want to find that balance and I think there
are a couple books in this pilethat are going to really test me
on that balance and I am up forthe challenge to the journey
and I have to say, as we've beenbook combing today, I felt real

(24:40):
, genuine excitement over thewhole adventure, recognizing
names of authors that I hadn'thonestly paid any attention.
Like you get older, right, yougo to college some of us and
you're forced to read and I sayforced wholeheartedly to read
books that you don't want to,that you have to as class

(25:03):
assignments, and then life hitsafter that You're working,
you're raising a family oryou're busting your hump doing
whatever you got to do in lifeand reading takes a back burner
and I feel like we're gettingold enough now we're hitting our
golden years of romance, romance reading again.

(25:27):
I don't okay, maybe not, but Idon't know.
I've been feeling genuineexcitement, megan, you know what
my genuine excitement is.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
It's not even necessarily the romance novels,
it is the connection with otherreaders.
It is that connection of peoplerecognizing that we all have
some sort of connection to thesekinds of books, regardless of
if this is your genre.
There are things that we allcan appreciate about books,

(25:54):
about reading, about the placeit takes us about, like that
moment of peace it gives you tojust, in a chair on a rainy day,
sit on the beach on your towellike beach books, beach books.
I.
I was saying the books you aregrabbing to me I always call
beach reads.
They're not so heavy that youreally have to concentrate, but

(26:14):
they're fun and engaging enoughthat you really are into it.
And so I think that these havea place and they connect people
because, like I said, my sisterreached out to me today to talk
about a book that neither one ofus has read in decades and we
still have it in our brain, itis still there, it will never
leave, and so this kind of stuffconnects people.

(26:36):
You know, in all sorts of ways.
You and I are currently livingin different states, yes, and we
don't get to talk as frequentlyas I would like, and this is
allowing us to continueconnecting and talking and
enjoying each other.
There's just something aboutthese kinds of books that, I
don't know, just brings peopletogether, if you will let it.

Speaker 1 (26:58):
I'm excited to honestly see what our listeners
are gonna start recommending forus, because already your mom
and my mom and your sister andvarious friends have been
commenting and suggesting likeoh, you've got to check out this
.
You've got to read this and I'mso excited to kind of see what
people are going to startsuggesting and throwing at us

(27:19):
okay, along with the familywho's been following us, can I
just give shout out to Nancy, who has also followed us.

Speaker 2 (27:25):

That is one of my mom's bestfriends and I saw that she gave
us like a little like on one ofour posts oh, I love that yeah
yeah, there is some great bookshere and probably some terrible
ones, and I look forward to allof them.
We've got some weird stuff inour piles.
We've got some classic stuff inour piles we've got vampires

(27:45):
bluegrass singers.
We've got vampire texas rangers, yeah I, I guys, I'm not done
picking up books.
This was just today, so I'mlooking forward to seeing what
else we find.
In fact, tomorrow I get theprivilege of just kind of
bopping around around.

(28:05):
Charlotte, yeah, I'm hard atwork, yeah yeah, she's gonna be
doing some, some actual likelegitimate work and I paid work.
I am going to be bopping aroundCharlotte and just enjoying
some bookstores and thriftstores, so I might have some
more to add to my pile tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
