RJ watched Finding Nemo. It took two months, a lapel mic, a homemade review template scored in duckies, and royalty-free background music that sounds — his words — a little like porn music. He also accidentally skipped the turtle scene. Mark is not letting that go. The official Set & Centered rating system makes its debut, Dirty Dancing is formally up next, and somewhere in East Texas, Chimp Crazy remains unwatched.

In this episode:
• Why RJ put Icy Hot on an insect bite right before recording and how that went
• Layne's Chicken Fingers in Palestine Texas: a verdict delivered with feeling and a long for Chicken Express
• The Finding Nemo review: scored across five categories, rated in duckies, recorded in real time over two months of watching
• The royalty-free background music situation and why it sounds the way it sounds
• Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGeneres, and what it's like to watch an animated movie with zero context
• The turtle scene incident: what Crush is, why it matters, and how exactly RJ missed it
• Mark's counter-rating: 29 out of 35 duckies, for reasons that involve grandkids
• Finding Dory: one review, immediate consensus, case closed
• Dirty Dancing is next — and RJ is going in clean

Speaker 1 (00:03):
How are we doing tonight?
Doing great.
How about you?
Uh good.
Yeah.
Uh we're talking we're actuallyjust talking about TV and
movies and our four came in.
Um so we are gonna talk aboutfinding Nemo here in a minute.
Finally.
Shut up.
I did it.

Speaker (00:18):
Did you hear that, Cindy?
I mean, I'm sorry, tequilatits, he's finally watched it.
Yes.
Took three months.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Well it's a thing that I did only for this show
and Cindy.
Yep.
I w you know what?
It's done.
So that's beside the point.
Uh how was Chimp Crazy?
How'd y'all like that?
Yeah, haven't watched it yet.
And I gave you a little tinypad of post-inos to write this
down on last time.

Speaker (00:45):
Oh, the slate colored ones, yes.
And and they're still here.
It's a miracle.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Yes.
And a pen.
Yeah.
From the Scottsdale pause it, Ithink.
I would just read that, yeah.
Yeah.
But uh yeah, uh have you guyshave you guys made it back to
Chicken Express?
No, not yet.
Alright, it's gonna happenthough.
It's gotta happen pretty soon.

Speaker (01:11):
Yeah, it's it's it'll it's gotta happen soon.
I mean, I still got that shittytaste of lanes in my mouth.
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Of what?
Lanes chicken fingers inPalestine Texas off that fucking
place.
Oh my goodness.
Um and we're uh there'ssomething I was gonna say.
My I p I put lidocaine on itbefore I came in here.
I think it's helping.
Oh, sorry, I'm on a show.
Um you know, my my arm thing Iwas telling you about.

(01:40):
Right.
Yeah, which I guess for thepeople that weren't there, which
is everybody else.
Um I got bit by something acouple days ago and my on my arm
and it's like swollen and hotand you know, it happens every
now and then, but oh god, itjust won't stop itching.
So I went to Tinkle before theshow, you know, for everybody,

(02:01):
and I was in the bathroom, like, what else do I have?
Because I've tried everything.
So I put some icy hot on it,which felt really nice.
Oh yeah.
It started to get hot.
Yeah.
Forgot about that second part.
Oh my god.

Speaker (02:14):
That's why it's called icy hot.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
I understand that.
Okay.
I understand what I did.
Okay, it wasn't great.
Um oh my goodness.
So yeah.
I as promised, um God, I Idon't even remember how the Nemo
thing came.
How did this thing the wholefrickin' thing originally start?
Uh oh shit, that was too longago.

(02:37):
Yeah.
Uh the one that comes to mindis you did the the seagulls
thing.
But that wasn't the originalthing.
Um, so there I hate even to sayit, but uh something about
dirty dancing.
Oh gosh.

(02:57):
Um finding Nemo.
Oh, uh that's so that's soweird.
I feel like I should haveprepared a little bit more
because I knew we were gonna betalking about it since I
finished it.
Maybe it'll come to me.
Anyway, it's been sort of along-running thing where I was
assigned by uh the audience anduh well, I took it upon myself.

(03:20):
I made a commitment to watchFinding Nemo and for very
obvious reasons, dirty dancing.
I haven't gotten around to thatyet, but watched it, finished
it, it did take a while, um andit's done.
So I I I have a review.
Yes, I have it written down.
I have a I made a reviewtemplate.

Speaker (03:41):
Oh shit.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
I think so.
I also uh I also threw on alapel mic whilst I was watching
it, and just I I just you know, there's sort of you hear my
inner monologue or whatever asI'm watching it.
Uh do you want to hear that?

Speaker (04:00):
Yeah, I'd love to hear it.
Okay.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
And just for anybody thinking that you're you're
buckling up for listening to the90 minutes, oh I'm sorry, one
hour and 40 minutes of metalking over a movie.
No, I actually did uh did anediting thing, an editor thing,
and I took out all the partswhere it's just silent, so it's
not it's not the full length ofthe movie.

(04:23):
Um all right, so finding Nemo, let's see.
Uh Mark's not reallyexaggerating a little bit, but
uh me l me watching Finding NemoNemo did uh take the span of
I'd say about two months.
Yeah, at least.
Yeah.
A lot of little audio clips.

(04:44):
But I'm committed to our fans.
At least one of them, Cindy.
Alright, here we go.
I should have hit the buttonbefore it burned.
That was gross.
Here we go.
Alright, time to watch FindingMo.
Oh, I need to pause because Imean we mentioned this a while

(05:05):
back.
Um it bears repeating that thereason why it sounds like
there's porn music in thebackground it's because Orion's
got two TBs.
Oh god.
No, we cut we talked about thatbecause like again, I I have
better taste in porn than towatch porn with that kind of

(05:27):
music.
But um the thing is that withwith the lapel mics, uh you can
you can kind of a little bithear the movie in the
background.
Um and these these bots andthese AI copyright things are
really aggressive these days.
And if they heard likebasically what they thought was
even a chance of us playing uhcopyrighted stuff, like finding

(05:50):
Nemo on our pod, um theyprobably knock it down.
There's a good chance.
Oh so I did find somelicense-free, royalty-free
music, and put it in there reallow level, just kind of wash out
the movie.
Does sound a little like pornmusic, but anyway.
Here we go.
Where the hell is it?
Finding.
Let's see, finding finding,finding Mimo.

(06:12):
Mimo.
Finding, finding, Mimo.
I had to tell me where I canfind myself.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Fan, come on.
Oh, you had to get Finley upthere.
Here we go.
Alright.
Yeah, I know you gotta get yourspot.
Oh, there it is.
Uh an hour and 44 minutes.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Fan, stop licking stuff.
It probably sounds weird on themicrophone.

Speaker (06:36):
It does.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Pixar.
Oh god.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
It's a talking fish.
Talking cartoon.
Okay, just watch it.
Did he build the ocean?
What does she mean?
He did good.
Marlin?
Marlin the clownfish.
Yeah.

Speaker (06:59):
And his wife, Coral.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Yeah.
It's like a uh that's a lot ofkids.
Can't name all them fuckingfish.
Oh, her name's Coral?
His name's Marlin?
Huh.
Wait a minute.
Oh god.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Are they gonna shoot me here?
Vince, stop licking.
Oh, that's me looking shishy.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Coral's going down.
Ooh, she got tail slapped.
Right into a rock, I guess.
Oh, he got tail slapped.
Yeah.
Alright.
They all look the same, so.
They're clowns very recently.
A crevasse full of eggs isempty.

(07:43):
Dude, she's dead.
Don't worry, there's plenty offish in the sea.
Oh, there's one egg.
Wait a minute.
Oh wait.
I'm jumping to conclusionshere.
No, wait a minute.
He's probably gonna name thatone little last fish die baby

(08:05):
fish thing Nebo.
Even though he didn't want to.
He wanted to name them allJunior, Fred Junior, or
whatever.
Okay, so if that's true, thenthey already found Nemo.
Done.
Did they take a fish bus toschool?
Anemone.

(08:27):
Cartoons are so confusing tome, Mark.
You know?
It's like oh I get it.
He's a scaredy fish now.
A scaredy catfish.
Yeah.
Pussy.
Oh god.
Hold my phone.
Yeah, fucking break.
So that fish just carried herfish in her mouth.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Yeah, not so far.
Clownfish definitely are notfunny at all.

Speaker (08:49):
No.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
How can fish jump?
First time in school.

Speaker (09:03):
Mr.
Ray.
I love the background music.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
It's a little something extra, I guess.

Speaker (09:10):
I feel like I'm waiting at the dentist's office.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Why are they why did they get on him?
Like they're not on him.
It's a Disney thing.
They're riding him, but they'renot riding him.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
For a clownfish, yeah.
Hey, for you got none of youall funny.
Got much room to talk.
Don't fall off the cliff.
Oh wait, it's an underwatercliff.
So you can't.
It's not a butt, you dumbass,it's a boat.
Stupid fish.
Can't swim well.
Fish.

(09:47):
Oh.
He hates them.

unknown (09:51):
Is there anything I can do?

Speaker 1 (09:53):
Uh, I'm just right on the at the verge of figuring
out who's voicing the dadfish.
Oh.
Is that Albert Brooks?
That would be fantastic.
Maybe.
I'm gonna look it up.
I wouldn't want to missanything, but I'll fucking
chance it.
Especially your little littleweak ass tiny fin.

(10:18):
Don't put that fin in the boat.
I'm surprised he doesn't swimin circles.
Yeah, Albert Brooks.
Love it.
Oh god, Alan's in it too.
Ugh.
Have that to look forward to.
Oh, the the dude's taking himand his Oh wait, no, taking the

(10:39):
dad?
Oh no.
He took Nemo and he took apicture of the dead.
Okay.
Oh, if that boat engine starts, you are frut.
Nope.
Nope.
I told you.
Oh goodness.
I don't think he's gonna beable to catch that boat.

(11:00):
Okay, so he put this one littlefish in a cooler.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
Why?
Snake wanna catch more fishthan that.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Oh, he like held his breath to go above water.
Cause he's a fish.
I get it.
Oh god, yep.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
There she is.

unknown (11:21):
Ellen.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Uh fucking voice.
Alright.
I'm gonna I'm gonna take abreak from this.
Should be about halfway overanyway, I think.
Oh my god.
15 minutes in.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
Alright, here we go.
Back to the Nemo.
My recap uh where we left off.
Ellen just came in, which isannoying.
And also the movie's calledFinding Nemo, even though they
found him in the first like 30seconds.
Oh, I guess I gotta find himagain now.
Alright, whatever.
Okay, Finn, stop looking.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Okay, lay down.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Oh god.
Perfect.
Ellen plays the most annoyingfish.
He's right in your face.
Their stupid fish face.
I bet she's lying too.
Yeah, she's lying.
She was a liar, wasn't she?
Oh my god, short-term memoryloss.
That reminds me of somebody.
Wait a minute.
Did he lift that bit from thismovie?

(12:28):
Yeah, what?
Oh.
Oh.
Bruce the shark.
He big boy.
Ew, he called him a couplebites, that's funny.
Because he could just eat themin a bite or two.
It'd be fine.
But in the movie, I'd take it.
Sounds like a trick.
Hey.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
No, stripes.
Hey.
No, no, no, don't pull on thatcord.
Ugh.
Hey, eh, eh, eh, eh.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Like, no.
God damn it.
I can't even watch a movie inpeace.
I can't.
Not that I'd want to watch thismovie anyway.
Beside the point.
One of these like reformshocks?
Sharks?
Sharks.
Sharks.
They went to shark conversiontherapy?
That's pretty stupid.
They did though.

(13:20):
It was like a right?
Oh, it is like that.
Yeah.
It's like.
Yeah.
They call it Sharks Anonymous.
SA.
SA.
They shouldn't call it that.
Hey, Flesh.
Don't chew on that.
Oh, god damn it.

(13:43):
You know, the whole clownfishtell us a joke joke is kind of
well, it was stupid to beginwith, but it's wearing me, wear
me down.
He's trying the mollusk jokeagain.
Landmines.
No, not landmines, sea mines.
Oh.

(14:05):
So Nemo's in an aquarium.
Like a little one.
A dentist's office.
Oh god, that's a horrifyinglooking dentist.
Oh, the dentist himself tookthe and then I still understand
why I took a picture of Phyllisor whatever the Nemo's name is.

(14:26):
The dad is what I meant, right?
Yeah, yeah.
Sorry.
Do you know why I took it?
It's basically torture.
I need to see a man about awill be.
Start saying that.
Oh, he got stuck in the sucker.

(14:52):
So I'm over it.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Okay, baby.
Not the only person in theworld with a bad fin.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
Oh, yeah.
Oh, there's the fuckingseagulls.
Seagulls do a better mark.
No one.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
Well, that guy looks like he's having a whale of a
good time.
Oh.
It's like a whole little oceaninside the whale.
How about that?
Yeah.
It's gross actually.
Oh, because what's his face isin there?
Oh, so is what ugh, what's herface?
Ugh.
We're in a whale.

(15:50):
Don't you get it?
She's not insane.
She's just annoying as hail.
Everyone's worst nightmare.
Ellen as a fish.
As your motivational coach.
Ugh.
I think people back then areshouldn't it?
Okay, that's all right.
That's pretty funny.
She's trying to talk whale.
A whale is swallowing?

(16:10):
Is that what's happening?
Slapping his taste buds withhis tail.
It's funny.
Oh my goodness, is that atongue?
A whale tongue?
Yeah, I think it is.
Oh.
I think Dunn got blown out theblowhole.

(16:31):
And they're out.
Uh-huh.
His version of the speakingwhale is funnier still.
Ugh.
Nobody wants to deal with astarfish that jolly that early
in the morning.
Finn, you're halfway fallingoff the thing.
Come on.
Here you're gonna.
Come on.
Don't be so awkward.

(16:52):
There you go, Finn.
Ugh.
Net, net, net.
There's a net behind you.
Oh, bag got him.
What's he gonna do with him?
Oh, this little bitch istrouble.
Oh, pelican.
Oh god.
The number of times they getswallowed in this movie is just
weird.
Mine.

(17:15):
Mine?
Dude, I would just get in thepelican's beak.
Because the mine Oh god, herethey come.
Shoulda done.
Ooh, ooh, god, they're so mean.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Hmm.
They had their beak stuck inthe sail.
Oh gosh.
This little brat with herstupid braced face.
God, they kidding.
Don't tap on the tank.
That's the first thing theyteach you.
Oh she's he's he's gonna giveNemo to this brace faced little
viper snappy bitch.

(17:52):
Oh, he's gonna flush him downthe toilet.
He's gonna go oh, trash can.
Oh, now the seagull or thepelican is there.
Okay.
Oh.
Nemo's dead, bruh.
You dung got here on yourlittle pelican too late.
Oh no, Nemo's alive.

(18:14):
Alright.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
Danny.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
She's shaking the fish.
That's so mean.
Oh, this is the worst kid inthe world.
Oh, yeah.
They done cannonball shot thatfucking fish out of the tank and
onto the girl.
And now wait, Nemo's floppingaround on a tray full of metal
implements.
What if he chops his good fin?

(18:39):
Uh-huh.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
Uh-oh.
Now we went down the littlespit tube.
And then you put the other guyin there.
Ew.
So in some kind of sewer canal.
Oh, water treatment.
That's probably gonna be hot.
Steamy.
Chemically.
Most so sad, clownfish.
Alan, he's just trying to breakup with you.

(19:04):
Take it like a big fish.
Oh, Nemo just popped out of thething.
Ew.
Stupid crabs.
Oh, now the crabs are fighting.
Australian crabs, too, as itturns out.
Oh, I was gonna find dad'sex-girlfriend.
Wait, she's not gonna tell Nemothat her dad was just Oh, she's

(19:27):
retarded.
Okay, now I get it.
Oh god.
Threatening the crab with theminefish.
That's mean.
Oh sorry, I'm just a dumbclownfish.
Didn't mean to swim into you.
Sad dumb clownfish, becausehe's sad.
Oh my gosh, here comes Nemo.

unknown (19:47):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
Fishing net.
Oh, it's fine.
Just I just leave Ellen fish inthe tent in the net.
It should be fine.
Why are we so focused on savingDory?
They just high-fined.
Huh.
Give each other a high fivefin, high-fin.
I don't think they do.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
Swim down.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
Are they swimming down?
They just look like they're oh,I guess so.
But now they're gonna tell allthe other fishes if you just
swim down when you get caught ina net, then you get out of the
net.
And I guess we can't have fishno more.
Oh god, are we back?
All back home.
Time for school again.
Yeah.
That went great the first time, didn't that?

(20:29):
Again.
Get on get on the manta raid.
Get on the mantor.
You're not on him.
You can't be sitt uh oh, sharksagain.
Wait, these are the reformsharks.
They've been to therapy.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
Oh, he forgot to give his dad a hug with his good
fin.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Isn't that poor choice?
You're late for school, youlittle shit go.
Welp.
He found Nemo.
Actually, no, he didn't findNemo.
He ended up in the general areawhere Nemo was.
And then he kinda ran into Doryafter he broke up with
whatever.

(21:08):
Well, that's it.
It's over.
Uh it was a uh I'm glad Youknow, it was much more enjoyable
listening to maybe just becauseit's over with listening to me

(21:30):
watching it rather than themwatching it.
Um you uh told me earlier thatyou got you got you just watched
an email a few days ago to toprep to refresh, right?
Right.
How would you uh how would yourate my uh narration if you I

(21:50):
mean you pretty much follow thewhole movie, right?

Speaker (21:53):
Uh yeah, I'd I'd probably give it a seven out of
ten.
That's not bad.
No.
It's it's because you forgotthe whole Whole turtle part.
What turtle part?
What the the turtles?
What about no where what?
Yeah, the turtle part wherethey're running through the oh
crap.
They don't see they're floatingthrough the ocean, but they go

(22:16):
on the current.

unknown (22:17):
What?

Speaker (22:18):
The east current or whatever it's called.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
I don't remember this at all.

Speaker (22:22):
Really?
Did I miss with Little Dude?
The little turtle?
No.
Well, no.
And Dory after they wentthrough the after they went
through the jellyfish.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Through the jellyfish?

Speaker (22:33):
Yeah, they uh Dory.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
Is there another thing they ended up inside of?
No.

Speaker (22:38):
Oh no.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
Yeah.

Speaker (22:39):
Did I I must have missed a whole section?
Yeah, you missed a wholesection with the how much uh
probably about 20 minutes.
Uh you don't have to, it'sokay.
Thank you.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Because we've we've already uhpicked your next movie.
Correct.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
And um I I I don't want to speak for you, but or
tequila tits or any anybodyelse, but uh you know what?
I think I I think I did anhonorable job of uh watching it
and just m doing my commitmentthing, you know?
Right.
I was an adult about it, andthank you for not making me

(23:15):
watch this other part that Iguess I missed.

Speaker (23:17):
That was the best part because the really yeah, the
turtle dude's like uh he's likespicoli.
He's like spicoly on freakinguh Fast Eisermont High.
Totally, dude.
Uh wow, yeah, you know, Iwonder what happened.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
And I'll look it's an hour 40 minute movie, you're
saying it's about 20 minutes.
I think we can all agree thatI'm not gonna shirk out on 20
minutes just to cheat.
So obviously something wentwrong.
But I don't watch hardlyanything on Disney.
Like, I never I think I maybehad to put the app on to watch
it.
So I wonder if like my pausingpoint maybe like that it jumped

(23:58):
or something.
I don't know.
Yeah, but like I heard, yeah, like you you you missed well,
basically the best part of thewhole movie.
Yeah, you did.
Great.
Well, I'm gonna give my reviewnow.
Um of finding Nemo.
This is my formal review.
Uh it says so on my page, setand send on movie review right

(24:18):
here.
Metal print out.
Um so again, this is FindingNemo, released in 2003, directed
by Andrew Stanton, starringAlbert Brooks and Ellen
DeGeneres, probably otherpeople, but runs an hour 40
minutes.
Uh the plot is basicallythey're looking for Nemo because
they lost him and then theyfound him 35 seconds in, and

(24:40):
then I guess they had to losehim a second fucking time and go
find him.
So I actually came up with arating system because I know
there's there is one other movieon deck, right?
Yeah.
That I have to review.
And I suspect there's probablygonna be more.
So I came up with a ratingsystem to keep it standardized
and have it on my little form, and I filled it out.
Um so I rated the movie.

(25:02):
I'm taking this seriously,Marcus.
Okay.
Um I rated the movie on f infive categories.
First one is a story slashplot, second is acting, third is
visuals slash animation, thirdor fourth one is pacing, and
number five is rewatch value.
Um and so for each of those, Irated it on a scale of one to

(25:26):
seven um because I think one tofive is too constricting, and
ten is just uh unnecessary.
So it's rated one out of seven.
I would say stars, but Icouldn't find the star thing
when I was making this in Word,so it's duckies.
Okay.
Oh each each category gets oneout of seven one out of seven

(25:52):
one to seven duckies.
Um and then uh overall scorebasically.
This is a little complicatedthinking about the math.
All right.
All right, so story, storyslash plot.
I give it one ducky out ofseven.
I would think it was a bitcontrived.
Yeah?
Yeah, don't you think?
Yeah, sure.

(26:12):
Okay.
Acting, uh even though an Ellenis fucking annoying.
She was she acted well in it.
So I'm actually giving it fiveout of seven duckies.

Speaker (26:25):
Well that me didn't have to look at her.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
You know, her f character, they clearly sort of
like modeled it somewhat afterher facial structure.

Speaker (26:36):
Oh, definitely, yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
So it was not yeah, I definitely look at her, but it
wasn't exactly great.
Anyway, five out of sevenduckies.
Like that's pretty good, right?
That's good.
That is pretty good.
For acting, yeah.
Um it's it's kinda hard tojudge acting, I guess, on a
cartoon, but whatever.
So for visuals and animation,um three out of seven duckies.

(26:59):
I didn't think it was thatgood.
If I'm honest.
Okay.
Did you?
What did I like the animation?

Speaker (27:07):
Yeah, yeah.

unknown (27:08):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
Uh pacing, I'm gonna seven out of seven duckies.
Oh, no shit.
Because it really I'll saythis, that movie moved right
along.
Yeah, especially when you skipmost of it.
Especially when for someunknown reason, inadvertently, I
missed a portion of it.
Yeah.
Not skipped.
Uh, but I will say that forthis movie.

(27:32):
Um, it did move right along.
Uh, not a lot of fat, you know, not a lot of unnecessary
scenes.
So good good on that.
Rewatch value, one ducky out ofseven duckies.
I get that.
I know.
Um for a total drum roll, totalofficial movie set and setter,

(27:55):
well, RJ's movie review score ofa very not difficult to
understand.
17 out of 35 stars.
Which actually oh no, thatone's actually easy because
that's that's like half, right?
Wait, yeah, wait, 17.

Speaker (28:11):
That's 34.

Speaker 1 (28:12):
Yeah, that okay.
Yeah, whatever.
Well, see, this is why I didn'twant to think about too much.
Well, 17 out of 35 stars.
Now, how so I said stars, sorry.
Try to be a professional, Ryan.
17 out of 35 duckies.
Yeah.
This is the official read.

Speaker (28:35):
Are you proud of me?
Well, no, because you skippedthe best you missed.
Oh my god.
I'll say miss the best partwhen they met up with Crush the
Turtle in the East Australiancurrent.
That was the best part of thewhole frickin' movie.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
That sounds that sounds like something that was
just done to I was the victim ofthe fact that I missed that.

Speaker (28:58):
Like you know, there is another Nemo movie though.
What?
It's called Finding Dory.
Fuck that shit.

Speaker 1 (29:07):
You know what?
I'll how about this?
I I should have wrote anddirected that movie, Finding
Dory, and it would start likethis.
Dory's missing.
I'd be like, great.
Yeah.

Speaker (29:21):
Credits.
Yeah.
Show showed her in a cast ironskillet being cooked up.
That's no, that's that's mean,Mark.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
Thank you.
I don't, I don't I didn't haveto, I wasn't gonna take it
there.

Speaker (29:36):
Oh uh, when did that come out?
Uh 2016.
Did you like it?
Uh no.

Speaker 1 (29:45):
Really?
Yeah.
But oh wait, so let's back up.
You do you do like findingNemo.

Speaker (29:49):
I do like finding Nemo.
Yeah, okay.
But you gotta remember thefirst time I watched it, my kids
were little.

Speaker 1 (29:54):
Okay.

Speaker (29:54):
So are younger.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
That's yeah, okay.
Um I can't find it.
Finding Nemo 2.
Um Well, it's called FindingDory.
Oh, well, you should have saidthat.
Do this again.
Uh I'm not fucking, I'm notlooking this up.
All right.
So you didn't like that one.
What why didn't you likeFinding Nemo 2?

Speaker (30:14):
Uh also known as Finding Dory.
Because well, mainly because ithad Dory in it.
She just drives me nuts.
Well, she was in the first onetoo.
Yeah, but it wasn't all abouther.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
Oh, was Nemo not even in the Finding Dory?
Oh, so this was a whole thiswasn't really like a finding
Nemo 2.
This is like a a differentmovie.

Speaker (30:35):
Yeah, it's a it's about Dory and and not having because
of her memory loss issues.
Yeah.
Yep.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
Um, if there was a character that I would want to
find from that group on findingNemo, let's say if one of them
went missing and I would want tofind them, it'd be worth making
a movie about.

Speaker (30:57):
It'd be Crush the Turtle.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
You know, yeah.
I think that I think this is alittle bit unfair because you're
gonna you're gonna hold thisover me for the rest of my life,
and I didn't do anything wrong.
Well, no, it was technology,man.

Speaker (31:16):
It's technology, it was too much for you.
Okay, what you know what I'mgonna do.
You just need to find that one.
I'm gonna right that's what youwere gonna say?
No.
Oh, fuck.
Fudge.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
I just need to find the section of the movie that
okay.
Here's what I'm gonna do.
Because I'm not gonna I'm notgonna let you have this.
Because I went through a lot ofeffort.
You did.
I set up audio every time.

Speaker 3 (31:42):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
I edited it, I made a ducky review.
I mean, so I'm not gonna letyou have this one.
So what roughly where about inthe movie would this part be?

Speaker (31:57):
Oh crap.
Like what did it come after orbefore, or whatever?
It came after the it came afterthe sharks, and then they were
in a uh like a minefield ofyeah, the sea mines.

Speaker 1 (32:11):
I mentioned the sea mines.

Speaker (32:12):
Yeah, okay, and then after that they uh they were in
like the minefield, thejellyfish, and then after the
jellyfish thing is when they endup in the East Australian
current, and that's where youmeet Crush and his his kid
squirt.
Okay.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
So after the sea mines.
Yeah.
And then what happened afterthe turtles thing?

Speaker (32:33):
The turtles is when uh don't give away the plot.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
Is when they ended up in the whale.
Okay, great.
So between sea mines and whale.
Yep.
Alright, I'm gonna I'm gonna doit.
Just because I'm not I'm notletting you have this one.
You're not gonna have thisleverage over me.
But uh, you're welcome.

Speaker (32:56):
Yeah, I appreciate you doing that.
I'm sure Cindy does too.

Speaker 1 (32:59):
Good, yes.
Um I hope I hope everybodydoes.
Um, and I hope, well, I don'twant to say I hope, but I was
gonna say uh I I I think we'regonna have we're definitely
gonna have at least one morevery professional and well
thought out movie review on theshow.

(33:21):
Right?
Yes.
For Dirty Dancing.
Yes.
Um, and uh, you know, hopefullythat'll be the end of it, but
probably won't probably won't.
We'll find something else.
Yeah, but yep, Dirty Dancing'sup next.
And I'm actually lookingforward to watching that.

Speaker 3 (33:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
Yeah.
For two reasons.
One, because uh it's notfinding Nemo.
And second reason because I I'mpretty sure it's a good movie.
Because you hear about it,right?
Yes.
And I'm not gonna hold on.
I just want to look.
I'm just gonna take a peek.
I don't want I am I'm anon-spoiler person when it comes
to movies.
Have we talked about this?

(33:58):
I don't I'd like to Yeah, withthe frickin' monkey chip crazy,
yeah.
Chimp Crazy.
Yeah, well, watch it and thenyou'll see.
Yep.
No, I'm just saying, and whatwas I looking at?
Oh yeah.
I'm just saying in general, like if someone's like, Oh, did
you ever see this movie?
Like, no, like you should watchit, it's really good.
Uh, if I decide to watch it,I'm watching it.
Um, I'll put them on this, I'llwatch it.
I don't do trailer, I don'tmind watching trailers, I don't

(34:21):
mind spoilers.
Um, because I'm not like thatkind of person.
I'm just saying, if I'vedecided I'm gonna watch a movie,
then I don't even see atrailer, I don't need to read
the plot.
In fact, I'll look it up rightnow just to see like how it was
rated, and I'm blocking half thescreen with my hands because
it's doing a summary of theplot.
Oh, 73% rotten tomatoes, okay.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker (34:40):
It's you know, it's arguably a good movie, so I'm
looking forward to that.
And and I'll help you out on uhwhere Crush comes in on Finding
Nemo at the 50 minute mark.
Really?
Yes.
Did you did you find thatyourself?
Or you asked somebody?
Yeah.
I put it in goo on uh GoogleAI.

Speaker 1 (35:02):
Okay.

Speaker (35:03):
At what time does crush show up on Finding Nemo?

Speaker 1 (35:06):
Can you ask a second, much more important question?
Sure.
And for how long is he there?
You said 20 minutes.
I can swing that, but it'd begreat if it was shorter.
That's yeah.

Speaker 3 (35:17):
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 1 (35:18):
I'll wait.
It's worth waiting for.
Well, that's gonna be a lot ofdead air.
For you to ask that question?
Yeah.
Oh, all right.
Oh, I'll no, I got this.
I learned from you.

unknown (35:28):
Dead air.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
Dead air, dead air.

Speaker (35:33):
What takes so long?
The typing?
Uh crush has approximately fourto six minutes, the total
screen time.
So 50 to 56.

Speaker 1 (35:42):
And just to be clear, because I don't want to get too
excited.
Crush, what the the screen timethat crush is in, that is the
extent of the turtle part.
Yes.
Sweet.
Yes.
All right.
50-minute mark.
Yep.
No, I didn't say 50 minutescomment mark.
Oh.
I meant 50 minute mark in themovie.

(36:03):
Uh, all right, I'm doing it.
I'll do it.
I I made a note.
You can make a note too on yourtiny little notepad.
Yeah, my slate.
Yes, that's color pad.
Nice, it's a nice color.
Um, we'll we'll next hey, I'mgonna go one step further.
I'm not gonna draw this out forweeks.
Next episode, kids.

(36:25):
Cats, kids, cat, what did Isay?
Cats and kittens.
Yeah.
Ladies and gentlemen, uh next, the next episode, I will have
this four to six minutes watchedunder my belt until we can talk
about it.

Speaker (36:39):
It'll take him four to six Modellos, but he'll get
there.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
I don't watch again, professional.
I don't I would not, I couldnot in good conscience, Mark,
put together a movie review andscreening whilst under the
influence.
This film was watched duringthe day.
Well, during the days, or manydays.

(37:05):
No, I take my I take myassignment seriously here.
Um, so again, finding Nemo, 17out of 35 duckies.
Yep.
That one's in the bag.
It's almost in it's almost inthe bag.
Like the can or whatever.

Speaker (37:21):
Well, and and I think since the part with crush is
gonna be separate, you it needsto be a separate uh ducky
rating.
That to see if it improves.
Oh, not a separate use.

Speaker 1 (37:33):
So do you mean once I watch that part and I have the
full story that I should re rateit?
Is that your thing?

Speaker (37:43):
To see if that part improves that four to six
minutes improves the movie foryou.
Okay, yeah, that's what I wasasking.
Not like you want me to ratethat four to six minutes.
Well, you were talking in incollege terms, and I'm sitting
here in navy terms.

Speaker 1 (37:55):
So I was just saying, like, I didn't know if you I I
thought you were saying like uhdo a rating of just that four to
six minutes, but you're oh no,I get ya.
So I'm gonna take my moviereview form and I'll re ducky it
for the whole movie, right?
After watching that extra part.

(38:17):
Yep.
Okay.
I just had a curiosity.
Um oh, so the show we'reactually almost out of time.
But uh, here's a fun thing.
I'm I'm gonna we're gonna gothrough the I'm gonna take you
through.
I want you to give me yourratings, okay?
Uh for the movie.
Getting an email.
Story slash plot.
I'd give it a seven.
Seven out of seven duckies outof seven.

(38:38):
Acting.
I'd give it a five.
Okay.
Uh visuals, animation.
I'd definitely give that aseven.
Okay.
Pacing.
Uh probably a four.
Really?
Yeah.
Did you think it was draggy, slow?
Yeah, I did.
Maybe it's because I wasdistracted every four seconds by
Finley or a cat chewing athing, or whatever.

(38:59):
Oh shit.
Because I'll say it did.
I mean, okay.
Sorry.
This is your this is yourmoment, Shine.
Uh last one is rewatch value.
Uh, that'd be probably a six.
Okay.
So we've got uh calculator app.
So Mark.

(39:30):
So the do we average our tworatings?
The official set and centerone?
No.
We'll swim that channel anotherday.
Uh so again, my rating was 17out of 35 duckies.
Mark rates finding Nemo 29 outof 35 duckies.
Yeah.
That's pretty good.

unknown (39:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:48):
Well that's pretty damn good.
I like those.

Speaker (39:50):
I like those movies.
Of course, having the the kidsand the grandkids watch them,
that that makes it more fun.
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:56):
Yeah.
And and um, I respect it.

Speaker (40:01):
I was gonna take another dig at finding Nemo, but
um digging a grave?
Digging a grave?
Yeah, for the mom and all thebabies that were eating.

Speaker 1 (40:12):
So like get a ladle and just I mean let me ask,
okay.
Actually, the serious, let meask a question about what was
the whole deal?
So the the dentist goes to theocean to get fishes to give to
his patients?

Speaker (40:28):
Well, he no, the the patient, the little girl was his
niece, and so when he got Nemo,he was giving uh Nemo to the
niece for her birthday, and thefish in the fish tank told him
they didn't want to do more orless told him he didn't want to
do that, so that's how they cameup with the the whole thing of
making the fish tank nasty sohe'd have to clean it out and

(40:51):
then they could roll out to theocean.

Speaker 1 (40:53):
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Is that when he got stuck tothe sucker?

Speaker (40:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (40:57):
Uh okay, that actually is helpful.
I just thought it was apatient.
Um, second question.
Why did he take a picture ofDonald or uh Marlin?
Yeah.

Speaker (41:12):
Uh so he could have a picture of uh Marlin in in the
ocean.
Like, hey bitch, I got yourkid.
Bye.

unknown (41:20):
What?

Speaker (41:21):
It was a bullying thing?
No, it wasn't.
It was it was just a thingwhere you take a picture of the
fish out in the wild.
Oh, so it was okay.

Speaker 1 (41:29):
So it it was he was doing two separate things.
One capturing a clownfish.
Yes.
With a stupid fin.
And two, taking underwaterphotography.
Yes.
Was that made clear in themovie?
I just missed it.
Yes, you missed it.
Okay.
That's probably when Finn wasdoing something.

(41:53):
So probably.
All right.
Well, thank you for answeringmy questions about some of the
plot holes.
I thought plot holes in themovie, but I guess just me
missing them.
Odd problem.
All right, sir.
Well, that's the show.
Oh, already, here we go.
Wow, your enthusiasm is sooverwhelming.
Yeah.
All right.
Catch y'all later.

Speaker (42:14):
Have a good one.
