Speaker 1 (00:16):
I'm doing pretty I'm
doing all right.
Um you're still you're still uhout of town in Washington.
Well, I keep saying Washington, but you're actually in Oregon,
right?
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Yes, we're in Salem.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Yeah.
Uh it's still a couple weeksuntil y'all come back.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Uh excuse me.
Uh we're talking about leavingthe day after Easter, so I think
it's uh 6th of April.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Yeah.
Um head back home.
So about a couple weeks wheny'all come back.
Yep.
Okay.
Yeah, it's been a good timethough, huh?
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Oh, it's been great.
It's you can't beat it.
Uh tonight we went out with ouruh nephew and his wife, and of
course their new daughter, andhad pizza at this little place
called Turner's Turner's Pizzaand Brew Pub, something like
that.
Yeah, out in Turner, Oregon.
God, it was good pizza.
It was so wonderful.
I think uh the grandson Andrewate like six pieces of the pizza
(01:14):
out of a large.
How old is he?
When they're growing, they'reeating.
Yeah.
How old is he?
Uh he'll be 15 on the 2nd ofApril.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Yep, that's uh that's
prime eating right there.
It is prime eating, yes, sir.
Yeah.
Where's you say Parker organ?
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Uh Turner.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
Yeah, well, okay.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Close enough.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Well, yeah.
I'd say I'd say it's in rangefor my uh level of listening in
general.
So Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
You're getting
better.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
Uh thank you.
I think that's a lie, but thankyou.
Uh so when you guys come back,uh you and I were talking
yesterday, the other day.
When y'all come back, you'regonna bring uh you're gonna
bring your boat.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Yeah, we're gonna
bring what everybody calls the
Barbie boat.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Why do they call it
the Barbie boat?
Speaker 2 (02:09):
Because it's red and
white and it's a cute little
sporty boat and all that.
It's uh what is it?
Q4 Tahoe, I believe it is whatit's called.
And so we bought it this summerto go, or last summer, to go to
Lake Billy Schinook, which wedo every year.
And so we bought it because thepontoon was gonna be ready.
And then uh yeah, so now we'regonna go up next week and grab
(02:33):
it, bring it down to the oldestson's house, and then when we
leave out of here, we'll bringit with us.
unknown (02:39):
Awesome.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Excuse me, Jesus.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
Uh yeah, that's cool.
Uh but also, yeah, another toeall the way across the country.
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Well, then if
everything goes good, it's gonna
be a straight shot back down toTexas.
But if not, we're gonna begoing to North Carolina with it
and then to Texas.
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Oof gosh.
Well, hopefully that doesn'thappen.
But uh yeah, uh there's uhyeah, we you and I talked the
other day, potentially somefamily business you may have to
attend to in North Carolina, butuh not sure yet.
So plan for now is to head backwith the Barbie boot to Texas,
yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Yep, Barbie boat to
Texas and we'll put it in
Houston County Lake.
Oh, dang it.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
I thought we were
gonna put it in my pond here.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Well, we're also
gonna do that.
I mean, we gotta do that whenChristina's not there.
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
I understand how it
works.
Uh and then uh oh, we shouldtotally do it when Robbie's here
one time, and then we can hecan do his music music video on
a boat.
Oh yeah.
Maybe he could bring hispuppet.
Yeah, did you watch those?
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Oh, dude.
I laugh so hard.
I don't know why he doesn'tkeep on doing them.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
I know.
That's what I was telling Rob.
I'm like, dude.
Oh man, they're so funny.
And for those of you who uharen't up to speed on that, um,
we talked about on the podbefore uh my nephew Robbie has
uh YouTube channel.
He just I don't even know howto describe it, but like he just
uh I think it must be some bitsor something that he finds
(04:13):
online, some audio bits, andthen he d he mimes a puppet to
it, but uh in some pretty funnyways.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
I think they're like
excuse me.
I think they're like TikToktrends or something that he he
uses the puppet for.
It is hilarious.
I I laugh.
It uh made me figure out howcome the fish was the way he
was.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Yes, we can say it.
Uh this fish is gay.
And that's how we yeah, that'show I learned this fish was gay.
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
That's for sure.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Um although at this
point that fish may not be with
us anymore.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
Um kind of kind of
getting the fresh water last
time that Rob was on it, thefish probably can't handle it.
Right, yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
Oh, poor fishy.
Yeah.
And the background, ohbackground there is Robbie uh
it's been a couple years, maybe,maybe more.
He wanted to get a fish tankand um you know, so they got all
the stuff, blah blah.
And he's been doing a reallygood job taking care of it, or
at least he was for a while inthe beginning, and um not so
(05:18):
much anymore.
Um I think if I remember thatwhat Frob said they blew through
about 13 fish, and there's oneleft, and he's just all by
himself.
The sole survivor.
The soul survivor.
He's gay.
Yeah.
And uh I think Rob said he'dnot looking too hot last time we
talked to him.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
That's right, he did
say he wasn't looking too hot.
So surviving off other fish'sskeletons and stuff.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
God, uh yeah.
Although I have to tell youthat it's so nice to be
recording uh without thatfucking water sound in the
background.
Oh jeez.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
I had to pee so
freaking bad when he was oh god.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
I know, and I'm
surprised I didn't have to, but
um, and because there's uh sincewe've been doing this um this
remote, you and I, um, overClean Feed, Clean Feed TM, being
our sponsorist.
Uh no.
Uh we've had uh it's been goingpretty well, but we've we've
always had for some reason somebackground noise um actually
(06:25):
here in the studio, not evenreally on your side, which you
can hear that right now, right?
Speaker 2 (06:30):
Yeah, I can hear it
right now.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
Yeah, it's just it's
just this dull hum, and I for
the life of me I can't figureout why, because we've never had
that we've never had any wehaven't had that noise when you
and I are recording in thestudio.
And I know that and it's notclean feed, and it's just that
since we've started doing this,um I know it's on my side
because when I hit mu it goesaway, but anyway.
(06:52):
Um that uh and then I think thefirst the first clean feed one
on your side, there's somenoise, but at any rate, um yeah,
so like part of the editing Idid on that one, which are
people that know the show know Idon't like to edit, so it's
terrible.
But I did do noise reduction umon my track and on your track,
(07:17):
but not Rob's.
I I could have I could have uhfiltered that that noise out,
but I'm like, you know what, hebrought it, he can live with it.
That's it.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
Yeah, we'll never
have him on again.
Yeah, probably your backgroundnoise cleared up first, Rob.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
Oh my gosh, yeah.
It was and listening to thatlistening to I think it was just
just the first one with him.
Uh maybe but maybe both, butlistening back on it, it's just
so funny because it's like it'spretty subtle.
Can't really hear it whenpeople are talking, but then
anytime there's a pause, you'relike, whatever, the water.
(08:02):
It literally sounds likesomeone's peeing.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Um yes, it does.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
Funny story about
that, because the episode is
called uh European in the fishtank.
Which is uh uh both uh uh uhwhatever to you for calling them
out for potentially peeing inthe fish tank on that episode.
And then a throwback to theprevious one, I believe.
We're making clean jokes, anduh you told me the European
(08:32):
joke.
Um so it's a f shit.
Can you still hear me?
Fuck fucky fuck fuck shit, fuckgoddamn it.
Fuck fuck shit.
Oh you lost me for a second, didn't you?
Speaker 2 (08:49):
Yes, I did.
That's just what makes this sogreat.
Speaker 1 (08:53):
I don't know what the
hell happened.
I'm sitting here like becauselike uh I've got the board
plugged in the computer, youknow, and then got the mouse
plugged in that has littlestupid lights on it, and your
stupid flashy light, whatever.
So there's like five thingsthat, you know, when they're
plugged in uh to the computer, which they always are, they have
some kind of light orsomething, and just like one at
(09:14):
a time, pew, pew, they startedgoing apart.
I'm like, what the actualhell's going on?
And the board is also pluggedin into the computer USB, and
I'm like, fuck.
And I thought we were gonnalose the board, and we didn't.
But that's good.
Yeah.
Uh so what was the last thingyou heard me say?
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Uh the we were
talking about the name of the
last podcast, or the first firstone with Rob.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
Yeah, yeah.
So it's uh it's it's sort of athrowback to um like the one
where we were doing clean jokes, and you told me the European
joke.
Uh, the title.
So it's a funny thing though.
Um, you know, because when wepublish an episode, it goes uh
it goes out to all the podcastplatforms.
So when you're listening rightnow, you're gonna be listening
(10:02):
on you know Spotify, Apple,whatever.
Also goes out to YouTube.
And uh when it went out, uh wegot an email that said, um, you
may be violating Europeanelection laws.
Um please confirm.
I'm like, what the heck?
It was just an automated thing, and I basically had to be like,
no, or not, and that was fine.
(10:23):
But um, that's you know, thatkind of stuff is what I'm
telling you.
Is like they use AI for it now, like with the Nemo thing, like
the audio when I watch Nemo.
That's why there's porn musicin the background because I
don't want they're gonna detectthe Nemo, and they're gonna be
like, nope, bad.
Yeah, you gotta love AI.
Yeah, I mean I don't I do,well, yeah, yeah.
(10:46):
I I'm on the fence.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
You're you're still
fighting with your guys, so
that's why you're on the fence.
Well, you know what?
Speaker 1 (10:55):
I I know he's been a
real jerk lately.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
Why has he been a
jerk to you?
Speaker 1 (11:06):
Um well he kind of
forgot.
Uh so one of the things is hehe uh I think we talked about
it, like he's real he's realnice, you know, like overly
nice.
It's like um it doesn't workfor you.
It doesn't, and so I sort ofbeat that out of him, but it
(11:28):
started coming back, and I'mlike, what the heck?
And I'm like, what's wrong withyou?
And I think what happens withit is they're always updating
these things, and so they theypush an app update and it like
changes shit or whatever, Idon't know.
But uh yeah, I uh well onething that's been irritating me
is see now I hear something onyour side.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Yeah, hold on.
Speaker (11:54):
What was that?
Speaker 2 (11:58):
Uh give me a second.
Speaker (11:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Oh my wife my wife
decided to put a load in the
wall in the laundry.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
I'm uh I'm gonna
leave that one alone.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Uh why don't you just
go ahead and talk for a second
and uh I'm gonna go shut off thetinkle.
Okay, so it's a I'll be rightback.
Uh-huh.
It's not a tinkle.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
We can't just call
everything a tinkle one of us
steps away.
That's not fair.
Frankly, I'm insulted.
Um yeah, I don't really give ashit.
I don't think I'm gonna talkthe whole time.
I think Mark's better at thatthan I am, so just gonna wait
(12:41):
till he comes back and maybeI'll actually do a little
editing on this one, take thispart out.
Oh god.
It's like you have to get thelittle cursor right exactly on a
specific spot with thewaveform, and you can cut it
out.
You can just hit the deletebutton because then it's fucking
(13:01):
and it sounds like an abruptcutout.
It's like what what movie wasthat?
I don't remember that movie.
I don't know.
Anyway.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
Oh my god, I can't I
can't believe it.
What it was it was thegranddaughter washing her hands.
These microphones are sofrickin' sensitive.
It picked her uh picked up herin the next room washing her
hands.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
Yeah, yeah, it's
crazy, right?
Um yeah.
Well, we uh well one thing onething when we started recording
here in the studio, which loyallisteners know is just just my
home office.
So it's been rearranged,repurposed.
Like uh the fan, the ceilingfan.
Like we had it on the lowestlowest thing just to get a
(13:45):
little air.
And like you didn't I mean youdon't even notice it, you know?
Then you put on the headphonesthrough the microphone, like, oh
my god.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Yeah, I have to turn
down the TV in the living room,
and I have to turn down the fanin like other rooms, like to
your point.
I mean, it picks shit up.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
Yeah, I just I can't
believe how sensitive it is.
I mean, any move, any anything,I heard the granddaughter
earlier through the headphones,uh, using the microwave two
rooms away.
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
I heard the door
open, close, and the peep beep.
Jesus Christ.
Right.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
Yeah.
And actually, before before westarted recording here, we're
doing our uh audio checks, andyou're like, oh hey, Finley.
I'm like, he's not in here.
And you're like, yeah, I canhear him.
He's like the other side of thehouse, and I guess he was
barking.
I didn't even hear it, but youcould.
Speaker 2 (14:34):
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's they're listening to us,Ryan.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
Uh I don't think they
are.
I mean, if you're talking aboutlisteners, I don't think they
are.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
No, I don't think so.
Well, I know that we havelisteners.
And yeah.
Oh, tequila tits, yes.
And I still haven't heard fromthe vodka queen.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
Really?
Speaker 2 (14:54):
Yeah, so either I
pissed her off or she hasn't
woken up to listen to the otherepisode yet.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
I think you need to
just I think you need to look
into that, dude.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
I mean, I hope we
didn't piss her off.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
Yeah.
unknown (15:10):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Yep.
Let's see if we can find crap.
Call her podcast queen, I can'tremember her name.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
Oh, yeah, we what are
you doing right now?
Speaker 2 (15:25):
I am texting her to
see if we pissed her off.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
Oh, okay.
Yeah, and if she wants to geton the show and elaborate,
that'd be great, because uh, youknow, we really don't have
anything going on here.
Yeah, we do.
Oh, yeah, you're right.
Um, yeah, so what's next?
What's next?
Speaker 2 (15:51):
Uh for me, what's
next is tomorrow night we're
gonna go out to dinner againwith all the family.
Okay, that's okay.
So that's a good stuff.
We're gonna go to yeah, we'regonna go to a place called uh
the garage.
It's it's like 15 or 20 foodcarts all together, and then
they have like a centralbuilding.
And so uh and they serve beer,so we're good.
(16:14):
Great.
Yeah, that sounds fun.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
It is, it's it's been
a blast hanging with the family
and everything.
Yeah, and then on Saturdaywe're going, we're going uh
excuse me, my son and his sonhad birthdays last week, so this
weekend we're gonna go upcamissaria and east Vancouver
and have their birthday parties,so that's gonna be good.
Yeah.
(16:38):
Then everything, and then whoknows what we're gonna do from
there.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
Yeah.
Um right.
I know it sounds like I'm notlistening to you and I'm not
sure.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
Well, I know you're
not, but that's I'm I'm talking
to the audience.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
Oh, good, great.
Uh, that's fantastic.
Um oh no, I I don't know.
I was maybe I was talking aboutthe AI guy.
Oh, yeah, I was gonna give youan example, I think, when I
don't remember.
Yeah, but uh Then the waterwent on.
Oh, that's what it was.
Yeah, there we go.
Um one things I've been tryingto um you use him for lately is
(17:19):
uh, you know, like, hey, uh whatare some good targets, like uh
astro targets for tonight,right?
And uh just gives me the samefucking three ones every night.
And I'm like, I tell him likewe've already done this.
Like, no, I want something.
It's like, well, uh, these arethe best ones in the shut your
fucking mouth.
(17:40):
Um, but yeah, that's uh uhyeah, whatever.
I won't talk about my guyanymore.
It's making me horny.
Speaker 2 (17:54):
Well, I've seen that
there's supposed to be like uh
uh asteroid thing and some otherstuff in the next coup excuse
me, Jesus, what's wrong with me?
Uh uh asteroid or something, and then some uh shooting stars
or whatever you want to callthem over the next couple
nights.
So I gotta do some research onthat because we're actually
tonight we have beautiful cut uhskies, and then tomorrow night
(18:17):
we're supposed to have beautifulskies.
So I want to get out the thedwarf three and do that and show
the grandkids about it andeverything.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
Uh that that's a good
tip.
I appreciate that.
Um since I haven't settled onTarget tonight.
So I wrote I wrote that down.
Asteroid thing and some otherstuff.
Okay, so I'll check that out.
Speaker 2 (18:36):
Yeah, that's pretty
much it.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
Um get out the dwarf.
Yeah, I just can I jump inthere and clarify for the
listeners because uh if they'refamiliar with you, I'm sure
they're bringing possibly wentto a certain place.
This is not a dwarf he justkeeps on hand to hold his
telescope all night.
(18:58):
Uh it's the name of histelescope, right?
Speaker 2 (19:02):
That's correct.
It's called the Dwarf Three.
I I sh you know, I neverthought about the way I my mind
works to dwarf and oh my god, that just went sideways.
Speaker 1 (19:11):
Yeah.
So surprised that surprised yousaid that with a straight face
and I went there.
God damn it, what's happening?
Yeah, maybe we should stopdoing this fucking show
together.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
We're not together.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
There you are, Mark.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Okay.
Uh you're looking at it.
Okay.
We just heard back from thevodka queen.
Okay.
She says, no, honestly, havehad zero time to listen to your
podcast lately.
Sorry.
I will catch up tomorrow.
XOXOS with a smiley face.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
Oh, shit.
She's got a lot to catch up on,I think.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
No shit.
That was like what, four, sixweeks ago?
Speaker 1 (19:51):
Uh probably.
I mean, a month, yeah.
Let me look.
Yeah.
I don't know.
Uh well, now it was less than amonth, but it was one, two,
three, four, five, six, seven, seven episodes ago.
So, I guess we'll get an updateon her.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
Yeah, she says I'll
catch up while painting.
I said, and I'm put back,sounds good.
We'll wait for the feedback.
Speaker 1 (20:26):
Yeah.
Good, good.
Um speaking of feedback, Idon't think we got any feedback
from Cindy on the most recentone.
What?
Yeah, I know.
She's usually so just likeright on it.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Or maybe she's over
it.
Oh, you know what?
We haven't gotten any feedbacksince I think you called her out
on tequila tit.
Uh.
Now you now you've gone anddone it.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
Yeah.
Yep, there, there it is.
Mark just pissed off anotherfemale.
Imagine that.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
Well, Miss Tits, um,
I just like to say, for my part,
um, I I had nothing to do withthat.
I have the utmost respect foryou, uh, Miss Miss Cindy Tits.
And uh, I'm sorry that Markcalled you out on that.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Oh shit.
Yeah, well, yeah, and here wego with the vodka queen.
She's one of those when youtext them and then they won't
stop, texting back.
So you just finally set yourphone off to side.
Probably like when I text youand start texting, and I'm just
going away, and then you'relike, oh fuck you, I'm tired of
it already.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
No, you're usually
you're usually not uh you're
very respondy, which is it'sit's nice.
Um, I'm not.
You're very respondy.
You're not typically too wordy,though.
And I I mean that's a goodthing.
Like you're wordy when you needto explain something or
elaborate, but you know, it'snot with the Things where it's
like, oh god, another messagefrom Mark is gonna be a million
(22:03):
fucking paragraphs.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
So Oh Jesus, that's
the way the vodka queen is.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
You're a good texter.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
Well I appreciate
that.
Thank you.
At least I'm good at something.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
You're good at yeah,
at least you're good at
something.
Um I was gonna say many things, but none came to mind.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
Um Yeah.
Yeah.
So uh I'm uh uh what's today?
It's like Tuesday, so uh I'mgonna make a commitment.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
Uh today is Thursday.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Alright, so I'm gonna
uh maybe not commit as hard now
that I know it's Thursday.
But I wanna get the Nemo doneby the end of the week.
Speaker 2 (22:46):
So Oh cool.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
Yeah, that's my plan.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
Well that'll be
great.
Yeah.
I mean finally get finally getthrough that after a couple
weeks.
Speaker 1 (22:57):
I Yeah, it's been
it's been going on for a little
bit.
Uh if I just I think I gothalfway through it, man.
I hope I at least got halfwaythrough it.
If I just sit down and put iton, I can I can get through it,
but uh so then once I do, umthen I'll uh I'll everybody will
(23:17):
hear my review.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yep.
Maybe we'll have to call upMiss Cindy and uh put her on the
podcast so you can review itwith her.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
It's not a bad idea.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
Um chicken shit.
Speaker 1 (23:33):
I said it's not a bad
idea.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
Oh, okay.
I thought you said it was a badidea.
I moved.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
You know how things
go.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
It's not a bad idea.
Um although I don't know.
I well, I'm not gonna provideany spoilers.
I'm gonna save my review untilI finish the movie.
And I'm not gonna God, it'sdropping out again.
Oh no, it didn't.
Okay.
Are you still there?
Am I still there?
Am I still here?
Speaker 2 (24:00):
Oh, jeez.
Yeah, I'm still here.
Okay, still hanging on.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Well, something oh
something fucking flashed on my
computer.
I was like, God, it's gonna doit again.
Um fuck.
Okay.
Uh yeah, so that and then dirtydancing.
I think I'm gonna get dirtthrough dirty dancing a lot
faster because I mean, I'm sureit's a good movie, and I just I
really don't particularly likecartoon movies like Nemo.
(24:25):
Um I'm in it with an open mindthough.
Um, I'm just saying it's alittle harder for me to trudge
through than uh, you know, likea normal movie.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
I I get that a
hundred percent.
unknown (24:39):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
Yeah.
Appreciate that.
Yep, yep, not a problem.
This is like So how's thepuppy?
That's going to How's thepuppy?
Buckley.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
Every time you say
his name, I get it.
You just all right.
Speaker 2 (25:07):
I just wanted you to
know I actually remembered it
correctly.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
I don't I know you
remember it.
I I specifically know youremember because you're so bent
out of shape about it, but he'she's fine.
He's I mean, uh nothing'sreally changed.
It's kind of about the same.
Um he's gotten I mean, I'mactually able to pet him a
(25:31):
little bit when he's eating.
Um okay.
Yeah, so yeah.
And he's past the point wherehe's like scared that I'm gonna,
you know, like scared, scaredof me.
Like he doesn't run awayanymore.
Um I can walk by him and stuffif he's laying down.
But like if I try to like touchhim or pick him up or anything,
he's like, nope, fuck you, I'mout of here.
(25:52):
Um yeah, so it's been reallyslow.
But uh, he's doing well.
I got him dewormed and startedon meds, and uh you know, he's
just having he's having a blastwith with the rest of the dogs,
so it's good.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
Yeah, that video you
sent the other day, that that is
so cute with him and Hartley.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
Uh oh, yeah, yeah,
yeah.
When uh when Hartley threw himdown in the hole.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
He's such a dick.
He's such an asshole to a dog.
God.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
Well, I'm sure that
Lucky and I did the same thing
to here, to him.
Oh, here's initiation, pup.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
Uh no, they were so
nice.
I mean, Hartley's always beenabout like cheap shots and
whatever.
He's such a jerk.
Like, you know, there's we wentthrough quite a phase where he
was he'd literally just pullCallie or Kennai or whoever by
the collar.
Just like just pull, drag it,hold on to it, and pull him.
And like they would go alongwith the, you know, they were
(26:54):
good sports until they got tiredof it.
Uh, but then at some pointHarley became huge, and uh they
then they j just they didn'thave a choice.
They just literally just pullthem and drag them.
And God, you're so mean.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
Yeah, he's gotten so
big.
Speaker 1 (27:10):
Yeah, he's a big boy.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
Well, I know that
Miss Ellie, she is definitely
missing the ranch life.
She she's ready to go home.
Speaker 1 (27:20):
Is she?
Speaker 2 (27:20):
Yeah, she Yeah, she
uh Well, uh our oldest son Josh
is I think his backyard'sprobably like 40 by 20, maybe.
And after having all theacreage to run on and run
through the brush andeverything, she goes out there
and like shit.
Okay, let's go, Dad.
Let's go back inside.
Yeah.
(27:41):
So we can't wait to get herback back down there.
Speaker 1 (27:44):
Yeah, yeah.
She was, I mean, she just shefucking loves it here.
And it was so cute how uh howshe took to it um just
immediately.
And uh uh I have to tinkle.
I swear to God.
I I I'm hand hand to God I peedbefore we started this.
(28:04):
Okay.
So I tried.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
But uh Okay, I'm on
my own.
Okay, so the question of theday is since Mr.
uh Tinkles is gone, um, whohave I pissed off out there?
Um Miss Cindy, we haven't heardfrom you on the last podcast.
Or it'll be the last two whenthis one comes out.
(28:29):
Um The vodka queen, uh, as youknow, we just texted her, and
she says she hasn't had time tolisten to us.
It's like how do you not uh howdo you not have time to listen
to us?
All you gotta do is put it onand go, what the fuck?
Go do what you're gonna do.
Listen to the shit.
I mean, I mean, we previeweveryone before we put them out
(28:54):
and then have a littleconversation and make sure
everything's good and go fromthere.
Uh Christina and I listened tothe last couple uh on a road
trip.
Of course, lapping our assesoff on most of it, all of it.
But yeah.
Come on, just put it on, listento it, go from there.
But yeah, give us feedback, letus know.
(29:16):
And one day we'll actually getup and uh figure out the media
things so that we can getpictures of the dogs and little
videos that we've done anduploaded.
Uh, probably right after I getback from from up here in
Oregon.
So we can do that.
Get all that caught up, get onthe tiki-talkies and the
Instagrams and uh I think wehave Facebook also, and then we
(29:41):
also have the the webpage.
So, yeah, set centered live.
unknown (29:47):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
You can come check us
out and and see you here
probably within the next threeweeks.
I mean, I'm kinda lazy.
We know all I do is want towatch YouTube and stuff, but we
can do that and go from there.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
Check what out.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
Uh, the website and
stuff I was talking about.
Uh, once I get back, we'llfigure out the the socials and
stuff and actually start postingstuff of the animals and the
little videos that we've doneand everything.
Speaker 4 (30:12):
Hmm.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
So interesting.
I think the first one we shouldpost is our uh one from May
with the big flat rocks.
Speaker 1 (30:23):
Uh you mean the when
we went to put them down?
Speaker 2 (30:27):
Yeah, when we went to
put them down and then we drove
back.
Yep.
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
Uh you're gonna have
to do you know how to edit
videos like that.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
No, but I I will
definitely learn.
Speaker 1 (30:38):
Yeah, you're gonna
have I was gonna say you're
gonna have to, because uh that'spretty funny.
That's very us, but it's alsolike I think it's like a
three-minute video, and a lot ofit's you know, just us driving.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
So Yeah.
I I'll I will definitely uhfigure that out.
unknown (30:55):
Cool.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
Maybe I can do that
this week while I'm uh up here
while the grandkids are inschool and stuff, and just kind
of watch some videos on how toedit.
Yeah.
Right.
Speaker 1 (31:08):
Watch some videos.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
Do some do some
research.
Speaker 2 (31:13):
Do some research.
I still gotta get the I gottanail the granddaughter to the
floor because she's got that 3Dprinter and I want to learn how
to use it so bad.
But you know, when you'redealing with a 13-year-old, it's
it's a pain in the ass.
So I just need to nail her tothe floor and say, okay, teach
papa how to do this.
Speaker 1 (31:29):
Yeah.
Um what I mean, do you justwant to do it to learn, or is
there something you want to dowith it?
Speaker 2 (31:35):
I I would just want
to do it to learn and see if
it's actually something maybelater on that I might want to
get.
Because there I I see people, you know, designing stuff and
making stuff all the time.
And it's like, that'd be cool.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
Yeah.
But it's uh well, I'll tellyou, um, I have some experience
in that department.
Um they are they're they'refun, they're really they're
really cool.
Um and if you unless you getone that's pretty spendy, and I
don't know what that would meancost wise.
(32:11):
But let me just say that if youjust get like uh um you know
sort of a hobby one or like ayou know let's say three to five
hundred dollar one, um you cando you can do stuff and do
whatever you want, but the theplate or whatever that you print
on is gonna be small.
So if you want to do anythinglike you know, much bigger, you
(32:31):
can do it, you can do it indifferent parts and glue them
together.
Um but uh the big thing is likeI see a lot of people that will
3D print shit for um like aphone holder or you know a w a
wedge for a telescope orsomething, you know, little
stuff to solve problems.
Um and generally, I'll just saythis because I really don't
(32:52):
know much about them, but if youever think you want to get into
it um and actually make stufflike that, uh just do some
research on like what you know, filament, what type of filament
or size of filament or whateverthe hell it is, um, you're gonna
end up using because uh a lotof them's not it's pretty it's
(33:13):
not very robust.
I mean, you know, it's not madeto uh it's not too tough.
Like it's yeah.
But yeah.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
Well, just like for
our, you know, for our smart
telescopes, if you make thatwedge thing, and then you don't
always have to set it up at thatwhat 45, 46 degree angle.
You can just point it towardsthe north and go from there.
Speaker 1 (33:37):
You know, that's
interesting you say that,
because um I uh haven't beenhadn't been doing well, mine's
different.
Um the way the the defaultthing is you don't have you
don't have to do that 45 degreewhatever and point it north.
Um you just have to make itlevel and then it does stuff.
(33:57):
Um and I just only the reasonlike two two weeks ago learned
this about my telescope.
And that was part of the reasonwhy the things are coming out
much better, is that it doeshave that other mode.
The mode we're talking about isuh equatorial mode.
Um yeah, you tilt you basicallytilt it down um the same angle
as your latitude, so here it's31 degrees, and then you point
(34:19):
it um, you know, due north, andit'll track, it'll basically
track with the rotation of theearth, um, and you get much
better shot.
Whereas uh the default settingon mine was called, you know,
altitude azimus, I think.
And it uh basically what itwould do is as the earth was
(34:41):
rotating, it would just adjustlike up and down and left and
right like in small increment.
And it just instead of sort ofa smooth action.
And uh a lot of had a lot ofdrop shots, um, had a lot of
issues like with wind, you know.
Um I haven't had any like Ihave had barely any problem
(35:05):
since I switched this equatorialmode that you're talking about.
In fact, I set one up before wecame in here, it's been going
for 45 minutes now and it is alittle breezy out there actually
right now.
Um so it's taken 280 images, and it's only dropped nine.
Speaker 2 (35:28):
Oh damn, that's good.
Speaker 1 (35:29):
Yeah, so it's it's a
lot better.
Speaker 2 (35:33):
Yeah, those last
couple pictures you sent me are
just phenomenal.
Well, maybe you're gonna haveto start making videos or
something to show how to do allthat shit, so somebody like me
will watch them.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
No.
No.
We'll just do what we usuallydo, which is I'll explain it to
you.
You'll ignore me, and go onYouTube and you'll find a video
that's like 20 minutes, andyou'll just kind of skip through
it in like a minute and a half, you're like, God damn, that's
not working at all.
I'm like, oh shit.
Speaker 2 (36:04):
That's exactly the
way I am.
I know.
I know.
Or I'll wait to the last minuteand go, oh shit, I never even
looked at that.
I guess I'll just fly by wireand see what I can come up with.
Speaker 1 (36:14):
Yeah, yeah, right.
Uh and uh the moon's back.
The moon's kind of back.
Uh ten nights the first nightwhere it's bright enough to like
be, you know, causing ambientlight issues.
But uh pretty much sinceshortly after you left, like the
moon was sort of gone.
It was like really dark nights,so that helped a lot too.
Speaker 2 (36:39):
That's cool.
Yeah.
There well, as you know, uphere in the Pacific Northwest,
you get clouds and rain andclouds and rain, and then they
say it's gonna be nice andclear, and no, it's not.
Speaker 1 (36:50):
Yeah, yeah.
I was uh and it's yeah, andit's been um clear too.
Um and uh last night I wasdoing I was doing one like and
it it was going really well andhad I mean it had been going for
like half an hour.
Um and then I checked on it andjust been had been dropping
(37:12):
like every every image for likethe previous five, six, seven
minutes.
I'm like, what the hell?
And I was sitting in the backof my truck, like on the
tailgate of the X bed, just likelistening to my my shows or
whatever and hanging out, andI'm like, what the fuck?
And I go up to check it, I'mlike, oh it's cloudy now.
Didn't didn't even notice soexcuse me.
Speaker 2 (37:38):
Yeah, that usually
happens, you know.
Yeah, I guess.
It's like what the hell?
Speaker 1 (37:43):
Yeah.
Well, when you get back, youknow, I think we'll have we'll
have a lot of fun with it.
Um because I have had thechance to learn some stuff and
uh maybe we could build thatlittle deck or thingy or
whatever, too.
Speaker 2 (37:57):
Yeah, that'd be
great.
Speaker 1 (37:59):
Yeah.
All right.
Well, I guess I'll stay tunednext time because the show's
over.
Speaker 2 (38:05):
Already?
Speaker 1 (38:06):
Already.
Yeah.
Oh, Jesus.
Okay.
Exactly.
I do it better though.
Speaker 2 (38:16):
I know what you do.
Okay.
Oh god.
What?
Quick little thing, Christina.
When Christine and I werelistening to the the previous
podcast that you had sent us,you know, to to preview with
Rob.
She was telling our friendsabout the about your accent that
you and Rob were using.
And she's like, Oh my god, he'sso good at the British accent,
(38:37):
you'd actually think he wasBritish.
Rob?
There's a kudos for you there,bud.
Robert the one you were usingwhen we were talking.
Yeah.
Well you're really good atthat.
Speaker 1 (38:50):
Well, thank you.
I do appreciate that.
Speaker (38:52):
Uh but the humble man
knows.
I didn't want to brag too much, but uh nonetheless.
Uh that does bring us to theend of our program, if you will.
Speaker 2 (39:04):
Okie doke.
Speaker 1 (39:04):
Let's let's cut this
one off and go from there, my
friends.
This could be the start of awhole other thing.
But yeah.
All right.
Catch y'all later.
Have a good one.
Speaker 2 (39:24):
Hey, it's Mark here
at Set and Centered.
Uh, just want to let everybodyknow that if they want to catch
us on the socials, you can catchus at our webpage,
setcenter.live, or on Facebookat SetCenterLive.
Uh, we'll maybe post somelittle stupid videos that we've
done, stuff like that, as we'rekeep on going.
And also, we talked a lot aboutthe animals here on the ranch.
(39:46):
And you can we'll post picturesof them.
We'll see how it goes.
Let us know.
How are we going?
