In this episode the Soul Sistars bring awareness forth in many ways in regard to the very powerful sacral chakra. This chakra represents the seat of creation; and it houses our reproductive organs, colon, intestines, sciatic nerve, and lower vertebrae (the area where weapons are held). It plays a major role in our relationships (personal and non) including financial, political, social, sexual and economical and most importantly with ourselves. Samantha & Maria share their perspective as females who have been labelled by society as pretty and speak on how that has affected their self-esteem, self-respect and relationships with other people. Light and wisdom are shined on the fact that the sacral chakra has two archetypal energies- Martyr, the dysfunctional one and Emperor/Empress as the functional one. The myth that we live in, is that sacrificing your well-being for others is healthy and is the way to be accepted, loved and deemed successful, yet this complex is rooted in shame. When we are shamed as children during that developmental stage of what's mine, our imagination is slowly shut off thus blocking the flow of creative energy. And, as we become more conditioned by society, we begin to equate love as material gain and body image. Hence, we see the physical act of sex as a symbol of love.
