109: Missing on I-96: The Paige Renkoski Case

In May 1990, substitute teacher Paige Renkoski disappeared under unusual circumstances in DeWitt Township, Michigan. After dropping her mother off at Detroit Metro Airport, Paige was last seen on the shoulder of Interstate 96 near Fowlerville, speaking with two unidentified men near a maroon minivan. Hours later, her silver Oldsmobile was found abandoned with the keys in the ignition, doors unlocked, and her personal belongings untouched. Paige has never been heard from again.

Investigators have considered multiple leads, including unsolved abductions and reports of impostor police officers in the area at the time. Despite reopening her case and interviewing suspects over the years, Paige’s disappearance remains unsolved.
