Speaker 1 (00:00):
You know that moment when you're lost in a daydream
picturing the life you knowyou're meant to have the
business that flows, the successthat feels effortless, the
mornings where you wake upfeeling free instead of stressed
, that moment, right there,that's a frequency.
For so long, I thought being onthe frequency of success meant
meditating on it, journalingabout it, wishing for it, but I

(00:22):
didn't realize that the moment Iwas daydreaming it was already
happening and the problem was Ikept snapping out of that.
I kept returning to my old waysof thinking, doubting,
overcomplicating.
So today we're going to talkabout how to stay in that
frequency, how to stop treatingyour dream life like a fantasy
and start living in the energyof it every single day until it
has to show up in your reality.

(00:44):
Welcome to she is Redefined, thepodcast where we break free
from societal expectations, redefine our identities and step
fully into the woman we werealways meant to be.
I'm Katie Smith, your host andguide on this journey of
transformation.
Here, we're all about embracingchange, cultivating confidence
and living life on our own terms.
Each week, we'll dive intotopics that inspire, challenge

(01:06):
and empower you to redefine whatit means to be you.
So if you're ready to rewriteyour story and live life that's
bold, authentic andunapologetically yours.
Let's dive in.
Hello, hello, welcome back.
I'm so, so happy that you'rehere and I'm excited for this
conversation, which I want tohave it be like a little riff.

(01:28):
You know, I kind of sometimesget preachy because I get so
passionate, but when thisclicked for me, when I finally
understood what a frequency was,it completely changed
everything for me.
And so it's funny because Iused to overcomplicate what a
frequency is, because we hearthat term, you know the new age
stuff, you hear the term all thetime vibration, frequency, all

(01:49):
that.
And like I would go around andbe like what is the frequency of
$50,000 months?
What is the frequency of this?
And I'd ask these questions oflike okay, but where is it?
Because I am so much someonewho loves to research and learn
these things, and then I'm agood action taker and I follow
directions, right.
So I'm like you know, maybe youcan identify this Like give me

(02:11):
the playbook and I'll run theplaybook, and it's like there is
no universal playbook unlesswe'd all be billionaires.
Same thing goes for frequency.
So I used to think, likegetting on the frequency of
success, I used toovercomplicate it entirely, like
I had to earn my way there byproving how hard I was working,
or I had to deserve it in someway, or I had to know the secret

(02:32):
sauce to the frequency that Iwanted to be on.
But the truth is you're alreadyon the frequency you start
imagining the scenario.
So, for a $50,000 month for meis going to feel completely
different than the $50,000 monthfor you, and that's where I got
tripped up.
So for me it would be flyingfirst class everywhere, picking

(02:55):
up and leaving on a Tuesdaybecause we can come back on a
Thursday or Friday the followingweek because we can.
It would be a chef.
It would be eating only thecleanest, yummiest farm sourced
food.
It would be slow mornings.
It would be drinking my coffeehot and like drinking it and not
chugging it.
So like that, what right now?

(03:17):
What I just explained to you isliving on the frequency of that.
Now that might equate to$50,000 months for me.
Maybe that doesn't resonatewith you at all.
Maybe $50,000 month is youhomeschooling your kids and
having an awesome you know armylineup of nannies to support you
, and having the new car and thenew house and having a

(03:39):
completely new wardrobe.
It could be completelydifferent than mine.
So that's why, when I wouldlook for the frequency of
$50,000 months, there was no wayto find it because I had to
cultivate that myself.
You have to cultivate thatyourself.
So, to put this even more simply, is it's the idea that gets you

(03:59):
jazzed up, it's what youdaydream about, and if you want
to put a dollar amount to it, Inever go for that.
But if you want to and if youwant to put a dollar amount to
it, I never go for that.
But if you want to have fun andgo ahead and put a dollar
amount.
But instead it's theimagination part that is the
frequency.
So when you start to imagineand you start to have the
daydream and the daydream thatyou keep having, that version of

(04:19):
you who has it all that you'redreaming about, that is not some
far off, maybe someday reality.
That's the version of youalready available right now.
So that version of you who'sliving the things that you're
imagining, that's available toyou right now.
And so that's the frequency.
So how do you stay on thatfrequency?
Your only job is to stay therelong enough to where you're

(04:42):
thinking.
That way, if you are someonewho likes to wear a beautiful
outfit every day.
You need to start wearing abeautiful outfit every day,
whether you got the new wardrobeor not.
If you're someone who looks puttogether every day, you need to
start putting yourself togetherevery day.
Throw on the earrings, throw onthe lipstick.
If you're someone who wants aslow morning, wake up earlier
and start giving yourself thatslow morning.

(05:03):
If you're someone who wants aslow morning, wake up earlier
and start giving yourself thatslow morning.
If you're someone who wants tohave greens, get delivered to
her every morning in a beautifulwine glass.
Start drinking greens in a wineglass now.
Do you see what I mean?
If you want to drink yourcoffee hot, start drinking it
hot now.
If you want that feeling, ifyou want that reality, you need
to start acting as her now, because your dream, your

(05:25):
daydream, is the portal intohaving that catch up into your
3D reality.
All of a sudden, your externalworld will completely catch up.
So why do we snap out of thesedaydreams?
Well, most people, they messthis up, and I'm a part of this
group.
Like, I messed this up for along, long time.
You'll be feeling amazing, fully tapped into the vision,

(05:47):
and then bam, self-doubt creepsin.
Well, how will it happen?
I keep trying and it hasn'thappened yet.
How will it happen?
Or fear will creep in.
What if it doesn't work?
I keep trying and it hasn'tworked yet or your old reality,
which is what your 3D world isright now, will pull you back

(06:09):
and you'll tell yourself youneed to be more realistic, you
need to stop dreaming, you needto tone it down a notch, take it
down a step and, just like that, you exit the frequency.
Just like that, you exit out ofthe daydream, your imagination
shuts off and you go back tofeeling your idle state, which
is probably not where you wantto be, hence why you daydream in
the first place.

(06:29):
Then you'll start makingdecisions from your current
circumstances instead of yourfuture ones.
Right, so I just gave thatexplanation of a slow morning,
and the reason why I actuallybrought that up and it's so easy
for me to rattle off right nowis because that was mine.
I always imagined that I wouldbe living a very slow morning.
It's beautiful, it's peaceful,I'm listening to calming music

(06:53):
serenity, that's the word thatwould come to mind and I drink
my coffee hot, and I'd have mygreens, and my house manager
will show up at the house andit'll be so cohesive and
beautiful and amazing and likewhat a dream.
I started cultivating thatmyself.
No one else did that for me butmyself.
And then, before I know it, myincome started to tick up.

(07:15):
Before I know it, I startedfeeling more peaceful, more calm
, and I was matching thetimelines.
I was matching my daydreamtimeline with my 3D reality.
And so, for me, what changedeverything for me was I was
realizing that when I stayed inthe frequency long enough,
things started to move fastbecause I started to pretend I
was already there.
Have you heard?

(07:35):
Delulu is the solulu.
That's it.
Delusion is the solution.
So for me, opportunities beganto show up, clients began to
reach out, past clients came outof the woodwork and were giving
me referrals while signing upfor me, and money started to
flow in unexpectedly.
This is because I finallyaligned with what I had been

(07:56):
calling in all along, which wasthat daydream fantasy that I
just walked you through, bytapping into that frequency.
So how does one stay in thefrequency even when reality says
otherwise?
Because I know you're thinkingthis.
I thought this and I work withseveral women one-on-one, who
deal with this every single week.
But like how, katie, but how Iunderstand, but it hasn't caught

(08:18):
up yet.
I'm waiting for it to freakingcatch up.
Now I get it.
So how do you actually stay inthe energy of your daydream?
Instead of snapping out of it,you start acting as her.
You make decisions as her.
I say this all the time to myclients the version of you who
already hasn't isn't askingwhere it is.
What is she doing?
Money's not even on her mindbecause she lives in overflow.
So what is she doing?

(08:39):
How can you stretch yourself tothink outside of money?
What is she saying yes to?
What is she saying no to?
If you know where you want tobe, that frequency, that
timeline, begin to actaccordingly.
The next thing is don't eventhink about the how.
Don't even think about the howyour brain is going to try to

(09:01):
logic its way to your goal.
This is how we're wired.
Don't let it.
The how reveals itself afteryou commit to staying in the
energy, and it'll shock you howit happens, like for me.
I never in a million yearswould have thought, by slowing
down, all my freaking dreamswould come true.
It's crazy.

(09:22):
Step three is surround yourselfwith the right kind of people.
You are the average of the fivepeople you talk to and spend
time with your environment.
The people you talk to, thecontent you consume all of it
impacts how long you stay in thefrequency that you want, how
long you stay in that daydream.
If you're always around peoplewho doubt and play small or

(09:42):
family like, for example, youwill feel yourself shrinking.
It has to.
It's the way it works.
It takes a lot of energy tooutweigh those, the negative
thoughts and whoever's in that.
1% of tipping the scales intheir favor.
Is that you or is that them?
Protect your energy at allcosts.
Step four is you can keep themomentum going.
How many times do I say this?

(10:03):
Momentum doesn't come.
You create it, you cultivate it, you start it.
You start the momentum, you'rethe momentum.
Momentum doesn't just finallyshow up at your doorstep because
you've been a good girl, you'vebeen posting regularly, you've
been doing your outreaches orwhatever your business is.
No, no, no.
Momentum is created by you.
So one of the biggest mistakespeople make is feeling high vibe
for a moment.

(10:24):
Maybe they even did it for twominutes, and then they wait for
proof before they stay there.
So stay there first for as longas you can.
How many reps, reps, reps, andthen watch the proof show up.
When you stay in the frequency, everything changes.
When I stopped snapping out ofthe frequency that I wanted and

(10:48):
I started living it like thatlittle example I just gave you,
everything changed.
I feel like I always say that, but like I'm walking proof of
this stuff, and so are myclients.
So a little recap is mybusiness 7X'd without me doing
more when I slowed down and juststarted living in that
frequency and showing up as herwho lives there.
What does she say yes to?

(11:08):
What does she say no to?
She is the momentum she callsthe shots.
I started to have clients comeout of the woodwork.
My business 7x without me doingmore.
I slowed down and my businessgrew by seven times.
I started signing clients whorespected my boundaries.
I started then gettingreferrals from those clients who

(11:28):
also respected my boundaries.
I stopped second guessingmyself and everything that I did
and instead I just moved likeeverything works out for me,
like I get to call the shots andI'm a co-creator here and life
began to be fun, like it wasliterally fun, as if I was a kid
.
Again.
I would skip around with mykids, have fun.

(11:49):
Learn to shuffle, dance, plantplants, look like a damn fool,
ride all these horses, because Iwasn't constantly worried about
the next step.
I was following my passion, Iwas following what felt good,
and that's literally what we'rehere to do.
Everything else will fall intoplace if you can convince
yourself of what I just said.
And it's very hard to get tothat point, to convincing
yourself that slowing down andfollowing joy and what I want to

(12:11):
do is going to work Becauseyou're going to tell yourself
your ego is going to say youhave obligations, you have
responsibility, you have to keepa roof over your head, you need
to keep food on the table, allthese things that I used to fall
.
I used to succumb to thepressure that I put on myself
and I actually changed that wordpressure with the word pleasure
and I was like, what if?
I just started doing thingsthat lit me up more.

(12:31):
What if?
Remember, we were playing withthe what if game.
I did an episode gosh, probablylike a month ago, about playing
with the what if question, andmy clients know that very, very
well.
So this is what happens whenyou stop waiting for the proof
and you start being the proof.
The daydream, it's not a one daything, it's your right now

(12:52):
thing.
Your only job is just to staythere.
How can you live in thatfrequency?
How can you get so familiarwith what that feels like your
day to day, what you do, how youlive to, where you can do that
now, cultivate that and startthat now and then stay there
Again.
This shift changed my entirelife, changed my entire business
, relieved so much pressure frommy household because my income

(13:15):
and what it's bringing in for myfamily.
And if you're ready to startsnapping out of this little
pattern you have and startactually living in the energy of
what you want, let's freakinggo.
