For years, I thought I had to do it all on my own. Strategy. Mindset. Hustle. I was manifesting without true faith—until everything cracked open.

In this episode, I’m sharing the raw truth about my journey with God—how I lost connection, how I found it again, and how co-creating with Source changed the way I lead, live, and receive.

If you’ve been doing “all the right things” and still feel like something’s missing… this might be the missing piece.

This isn’t about religion—it’s about remembering the power of divine partnership.

✨ Let this be your permission slip to stop carrying it all on your shoulders and start building with something far greater.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to she is Redefined, the podcast where we

identities and step fully intothe woman we were always meant
to be.
I'm Katie Smith, your host andguide on this journey of
transformation.
Here, we're all about embracingchange, cultivating confidence
and living life on our own terms.
Each week, we'll dive intotopics that inspire, challenge

(00:22):
and empower you to redefine whatit means to be you.
Dive into topics that inspire, challenge and empower you to
redefine what it means to be you.
So, if you're ready to rewriteyour story and live life that's
bold, authentic andunapologetically yours, let's
dive in.
Hello, hello, welcome back toanother episode of she Is
Redefined.
All right, I got to be honestwith you.

(00:42):
This little like, like blahmoment I've been in, this little
like I don't want to doanything, I don't want to create
content, I don't want to evenrecord episodes.
It has not left if I meantotally honest with you and I'm
giving myself grace and all that, just like I talked about last
week's episode.
But something came to me as Iwas driving on my way home and
then I just came right in hereto record it because I'm like,

(01:04):
okay, work on my intuitive hitson the downloads I get and
that's usually what I do,because that's my guidance,
that's my inner compass, if youwill, and it's all around God
and religion and where you standwith it, and this is a safe
place.
This is like no judgmentwhatsoever, but I had this
realization and this is going toruffle a lot of feathers, and

(01:26):
that is not my intention at all.
My intention is just to helpyou think bigger and broader
than you have right now or haveever in the past, and I honestly
feel like religion is messingup people's relationship with
God.
Yes, you heard that right.
Religion's out thereCatholicism, christianity.
I don't know them all, but Ijust know my experience with

(01:48):
those two.
I think it's ruining ourrelationship with God.
I've talked a little bit aboutthis in the past, but I don't
think as authentically as I'mgoing to right now, because I
feel like God is a bad rap.
People feel judged if they'renot in.
People feel judged if they'renot in, not a part of a religion

(02:10):
or a church, and I just my goalis to get more people to
connect with God and my goal isto have that feel.
However, that wants to feel foryou, and it has nothing to do
with what church you're.
A part of my history is I wasraised Catholic, roman Catholic,
and I felt very shamed all thetime in that environment.
I had to be a good girl.
If not, I had the fear put inme that I was going to hell or I

(02:33):
wasn't loved.
And that is not God, that'sjust evil human construct.
To help people behave Now, isthat like the worst thing to do
to keep people to stay in line?
I'm not going to say that is itmakes sense on a level of like
sure, this is the best way toget people to behave, but I
don't think that builds arelationship with God, though

(02:54):
that's fearing God.
Now, don't take that out of thewrong context.
I think there should be someGod-fearing involved, just
because of how powerful but Godis, love.
God has been with you in yourdeepest moments and God has been
with you in all the othermoments.
And I say to all my one-on-oneclients if you weren't supposed

(03:15):
to be here right now, if youweren't supposed to have
everything that you have, youwould be gone by now.
You'd be dead.
Just me too.
I'm supposed to be here for areason.
I'm supposed to do the amessage out there that is not
serving everyone who wants tohave it all, and it's really

(03:36):
building your relationship withthe creator.
Whatever you want to call that,it doesn't even have to be
called God.
You can call it source, you cancall it the creator, you can
call it divine.
Whatever floats your boat, youcan call it God.
I call it God and I'm so vocalabout God.
God led us to Texas.
God has orchestrated everythingin my life and for the longest
time.
It was even hard for me to sayit because I still am working

(04:00):
through the deconditioning of myupbringing in Catholicism and
also from people kind of like oh, they would make fun of you if
you were.
Like, oh, you're one of thosedo-gooders and Bible thumpers
and God people that would be inmy head even at 36, 37 years old
, like it's crazy.
Maybe you can relate to that.
But now I can't stop talkingabout God and what he's done in

(04:24):
my life and every time somethinggoes my way, literally I tell
myself in my head thanks, team.
That's what I say.
I said thanks, team.
Like look at that, that workedout perfectly for me.
Thanks, team.
And that's my way of sayingthanks to God.
So I'm sharing this with youbecause if you wanted to start
getting more of what you want inlife, it's literally creating a

(04:45):
relationship with the creator, god, source, whatever you want
to call it.
And how do you do that?
You get to call the shots onhow you do that.
My Miracle Zone program walksyou through really, really good
of how to slow down and get intothe flow of everything like
miracles happening to you everysingle day.
So you can check that out.
That'll be in the show notes.
But it's slowing down and nottrying to do everything.

(05:07):
It's being okay with silence.
By no means am I telling you togo meditate for 20 minutes, but
if you started doing that, yourlife would change.
You don't even have to meditatewith your eyes closed.
You can just sit outside andlike, have nothing else.
You're not reading a book, you're not listening to
something, you're literally justsitting in silence.
That's a form of meditation.
When you're driving, if you'realone in your car, this was my

(05:29):
husband's favorite thing to doon his way to work when we lived
in California.
He loved to just sit in silenceand that was his form of
meditation, because when you cansilence the noise, you can
actually hear things that aregoing to get you to where you
want to go.
Now, don't do any of this withthe expectation of hearing
something.
I did make that mistake when Ifirst started this and I had a

(05:50):
newborn it was my second childand I remember rocking him and
I'd shut my eyes, literally.
No joke, I'm like laughingright now.
I would shut my eyes as I'mrocking him on the rocking chair
and I'd be like, okay, show mesomething, show me a picture,
Show me something, tell mesomething.
And it's just so funny becausethat's actually not the point.
The point is to try to getyourself in the flow state which
is silencing everything, silencing your inner voice,

(06:13):
silencing anything externalyou're listening to, like shut
it all down, to just be nothing, neutral, and that's really hard
to get to.
But once you get there, youwill become addicted to it.
I swear every one of my clientsfor most part most of them love
slowing down, love doing onething at a time.
They love to just silence outthe noise so that they remember

(06:34):
they're actually in control.
And when you just work with thecreator, you're co-creating
everything you want.
Literally, you have no oneelse's approval, you don't have
to work so hard, you just haveto work within and like that's
the game.
What did Jim Carrey say?
He said I wish everyone wouldget everything they want all the
success and all the money torealize that it's not about that

(06:57):
, and that could not be moretrue.
So again, this is not meknocking church.
We go to church with my family.
I think it's beautifulfoundation.
But if you're someone whostruggles with a relation with
God, for whatever reason thatmight be, you just feel shame or
judged around it.
Here is your pass to movethrough that and just to work

(07:17):
with the creator yourself, theuniverse yourself, internally in
your thoughts, in your head.
Silence them, control them.
Be aware of the thoughts, because all the things that
happen in your head are not yourthoughts.
They're really not.
You get to choose which thoughtyou want to hold on to and
which belief you want to hold onto, but it takes a lot of
self-awareness.
So how to slow down and do allthat stuff?

(07:38):
It's by silencing all of thenoise and just keep tabs.
Like if you're doing thingsthat are not making you feel
good, can you cut them out?
Like is social media necessary?
Like I just started talkingabout this on my social media.
How I'm barely on it anymore, and I'm not.
I don't need to post on socialmedia every day for me to make

(08:02):
money and people to find me.
I don't.
I don't even have to write anemail every day or every week.
All of that does not even soundsustainable to me.
So everything is beingredefined in my world and it is
a fun game because I get to callthe shots, just like you get to
call the shots.
You are in much more controlthan you even realize.
Even if you have a corporatejob, even if anything, even if

(08:25):
you're, you have a, an illnessright now, whatever it may be,
you have so much more controlthan you've been led on to
believe.
It starts by silencing thenoise.
Also shameless plug, gettinginto the miracle zone That'll
change your life, and justtrusting yourself.
I'm going to have anotherepisode coming up all around
trusting yourself, and it's sojuicy Good I, it's my jam right
now.
I love this conversation, so,anyways, that's it.

(08:45):
I love you so much for beinghere.
If you got anything out of this, I would love to hear, I would
love to know, and I'm soappreciative that you're here
and I'll catch you here nextweek.

is Redefined.

so you never miss out.

you've got everything you needto create the life that you want

(09:05):
.

review or share it with anotherwoman who's ready to redefine
herself too.

powerful, you're capable and youare redefined.
