Yea, we are all to blame. All of my people that is. Even those who were sure to convey the messages of our past to our youth.
Why did you not ensure that that message was conveyed to little Francine, that baby from up the street who you knew was not being educated.
If you listened to this piece, then you know I laid a great deal of the neglect at the feet of my generation.

is my acceptance of what we did. However, it is not an acceptance that there should not be an attempt to make amends. Yes, I am aware that those who should have benefitted from our teachings are now grown. However, there is always the generations that are thirsting for the knowledge that we possess.
Ask yourselves...what am I NOW DOING to rectify my shortcomings of the past?
