When you take your first step out of the bed in the morning, that thought you have in your mind will influence your entire day.

If you wake up with thoughts about what I have to do today, what meetings I have, people I must talk to, things I must accomplish and then you step our foot on the floor. That thought that is in your head at that moment will frame your day.

You must cleanse your mind, your emotions before you step out of your bed. You must find your self and your inner peace before you put your foot down and begin this wonderful day.

Give thanks to who you are, that you can breathe, see, feel, and love! Don't take for granted that these involuntary gifts will be there tomorrow.

Your first thoughts of the day are yours to control and so is your life so embrace it and then "seize the day"!

Dr. Death

We’re at our most vulnerable when we go to our doctors. We trust the person at the other end of that scalpel. We trust the hospital. We trust the system. Christopher Duntsch was a neurosurgeon who radiated confidence. He claimed he was the best in Dallas. If you had back pain, and had tried everything else, Dr. Duntsch could give you the spine surgery that would take your pain away. But soon his patients started to experience complications, and the system failed to protect them. Which begs the question: who - or what - is that system meant to protect? From Wondery, the network behind the hit podcast Dirty John, DR. DEATH is a story about a charming surgeon, 33 patients and a spineless system. Reported and hosted by Laura Beil.
