Kristine and Ernie Jackson, authors of Quinton's Legacy and Quinton's Messages, planned their annual 2009 family vacation meticulously -  choosing not to take their traditional vacation to Mexico because of safety concerns. In spite of Ernie's meticulous planning and safeguards, the family vehicle was struck by a young driver who fell asleep at the wheel. Their 9 year old son Quinton lost his life instantly and Kristine was badly wounded. Ernie says this devastating event launched him on a journey to find answers to questions he'd never asked before; it brought him and Kristine along a road of forgiveness and communication with their departed son that they'd never imagined possible.
