Katie here! I’ve had a weird obsession with true crime since I was a girl. I remember watching forensic files by 10 (not your average Disney fan girl like ever). The weirdest thing that ever happened to me was when I tried to write a research paper on Ted Bundy, at 13, it freaked my teacher out, she called my dad worried. My dad told her I wasn’t interested in things other people perceived as intriguing. He was right, and still is 15 years later. Part of me feels like I can solve these cases myself, so join me as I try to. Therapy (sorta) and mediocre comedy included. On May 31, 2014, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, United States, two 12-year-old girls, Anissa Weier and Morgan Geyser, lured their friend Payton Leutner into a wooded area of a local park and stabbed her 19 times to appease the fictional character Slender Man. WOAH - yeah you read that right, two 12-year-old girls! I could not believe this story when I first read the article on it. Was it premeditation or a severely disturbed mental health...
SCOTUS overturns 1973 ruling of Roe v. Wade - a landmark decision in which the Court ruled that the Constitution of the United States generally protects a pregnant woman's liberty to choose to have an abortion. WHAT. Tune in, or keep up...
