They need expertise to respond to these threats, which means allocating a long-term budget and commitment to bulking up cyber-defenses. Cybersecurity is an ongoing process, not a one-time fix, and businesses need to prioritize it to stay secure.
Second, individuals with transferable skills and a willingness to learn can break into cybersecurity careers. There are online courses, communities, and free training platforms to help you gain the necessary skills.
