IVA is the stage name of the talented singer/songwriter/composer who spoke with Gail for Episode 51 of The Brainwave Podcast. She shares her inspiration for her latest song "Run", talks about the impact of the pandemic on her creative work, and discusses the journey that led to the writing of her opera "Inside Out". She trained as a classical soprano at the Juilliard School and the Manhattan School of Music, and is a graduate of Princeton's performance program. At the end of her conservatory training, she received a Fulbright Scholarship to study her ancestors' music in Sweden, where she lived for six years.
