Ben is a landscape photographer based in Sydney, Australia. His creative journey began with drawing and painting from a young age, but it was during his first year of high school that he discovered photography. Within a short time, his camera became his primary creative tool, and though he continued sketching for several more years, photography soon became his true artistic passion.
Early progress came slowly, limited by the challenges of being a student with little access to gear or formal tuition. This, however, became a defining advantage—forcing Ben to experiment, learn independently, and ultimately develop a distinctive personal style. Over time, his work has been recognised both nationally and internationally for its refined aesthetic and evocative portrayal of the natural world.
Ben’s photography explores the full spectrum of the landscape, from sweeping grand vistas to the subtle, intimate details found in nature. Constantly seeking new ways to interpret and translate the beauty of the outdoors, he approaches his craft with curiosity, creativity, and a drive to inspire others through his imagery.
Passionate about sharing knowledge, Ben helps others cultivate their own creative vision and technical skill. He runs photography workshops across Tasmania, New South Wales, and beyond, alongside offering one-on-one mentoring, video tutorials, and camera club presentations—all designed to help photographers find their footing and unlock their potential behind the lens.
