Is the climate crisis just a cleverly constructed narrative to control you? Join us on the Climate Change Hoax Podcast, where your host, Karl Michael, pulls back the curtain on the myths surrounding the Great Lakes' water levels and the so-called climate change narrative. We kick off a special three-part series focusing on lakes, reefs, and floods, exposing the contradictions in the climate change story. Discover how data from the Army Corps of Engineers reveals the truth behind the cyclical nature of the Great Lakes' water levels, contradicting the alarmist claims that both high and low levels are due to global warming.

The Climate Change Hoax.
If you're suspicious that thisclimate change stuff may be
exaggerated or just total BS,you've come to the right place.
Welcome to the Climate ChangeHoax Podcast With your host,
carl Michael.
Here you'll learn the truthabout the deceivers who want you

(00:24):
to believe we can actuallycontrol the weather.
We cannot.
The real goal is to control you.
This is the Climate Change Hoax.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
And greetings crisis deniers.
Well, buckle up for moreclimate lies from the left.
In this special three-partseries Lakes, reefs and Floods
Are the Great Lakes water levelsfalling Well?
Back in 2013, a bunch ofclimate wackos claimed this.

(01:06):
It's no secret that, partiallydue to climate change, the water
levels in the Great Lakes aregetting very low.
Rising temperatures, extremeweather, damaged ecosystems and
rising sea levels are affectingall parts of the world, and the
Great Lakes are no exception.
Home to 84% of North America'sfresh water and 21% of the

(01:31):
world's fresh water, the lakesare becoming ever more
threatened as temperatures onEarth continue to rise.
Lake Erie has been particularlyprone to the impacts of rising
carbon dioxide concentrationsand warming lake temperatures.
Tourism, recreation, fish andwildlife, and shipping are all

(01:51):
being impacted by the changingclimate, and the situation is
expected to only worsen in thedecades to come.
According to the Great LakesIntegrated Sciences Assessment
by the National Oceanic andAtmospheric Administration,
future land use and climatechange could drastically
exacerbate algae blooms on thelakes, killing fish and wildlife

(02:14):
, threatening human health anddiminishing water quality.
The study notes that theaverage air temperature in the
Great Lakes region has risen by2 degrees since 1900.
In recent years, the GreatLakes waters have warmed faster
than the surrounding airtemperature, with Lake Superior

(02:34):
warming twice as fast as the airsince 1980.
Okay, then let's look at the2020 data from the Army Corps of
Engineers, which clearly showsthe Great Lakes are currently
benefiting from record highwater levels.

(02:57):
While just a few years ago, alarmists claimed global warming
is causing low water levels, infact, water levels have been
above normal since 2014.
Now these guys will likelyclaim global warming causes high
water levels, but they'vealready claimed global warming

(03:17):
causes low water levels.
Folks, real science does notallow activists to flip on.
What they assert is settledscience.
Any attempts to claim globalwarming causes water-level
volatility is alwayscontradicted by scientific
evidence.
During the late 20s and 60s,alarmists and their media allies

(03:41):
claimed, during a short-termdecline in levels, that climate
change was bringing a new normalof low water levels to the
Great Lakes.
Think Progress, a bunch ofliberals in 2013 claimed several
different climate models.
There's those models again forthe Great Lakes region.
All predict that lake levelswill decline over the next

(04:03):
century.
Since then, great Lakes waterlevels have reached their
highest ever recorded and havesustained abundant above-average
water levels since 2014.
Folks, looking at the ArmyCorps of Engineers water level
data, you'll clearly see thelevels are cyclical, meaning of

(04:25):
course they go up and down, andthe long-term average for each
lake is represented by astraight line.
Leftist organizations will onlyseek data that will support
their narrative, which is alwaysa crisis, and a crisis,

(04:45):
according to the leftistpoliticians and their phony
scientists, can only be avertedby more power and more money.
Cheers.
