Zelensky at the White House following his meeting with the
Russian President Vladimir Putin over the weekend. Neither meeting has
resulted in a ceasefire deal. Based on his discussions with
both leaders, Trump told reporters that Putin and Zelenski wanted

(00:32):
the war to end. He said he would try to
get a quote three party meeting between himself, Zelenski, and
Putin as soon as possible. The Ukrainian president has repeatedly
said he won't agree to give up any of his
country's territory to end the war. Zelensky also said he
wanted the US to agree to send troops, equipment, and
share intelligence to protect Ukraine from future attacks.

Does many A parliament has resumed following in a snap
election last month, with another vote of no confidence on
the agenda. Returning Premier Jeremy Rockcliffe called the election the
states second in two years. Following a successful vote of
no confidence against him. A no confidence motion is an
expression of the lack of support in the government. At

(01:18):
the election, Rockcliffe led the Liberals to win fourteen or
thirty five seats in the state's lower house, not enough
to form government alone, but more than the Labour opposition.

marking the first spying conviction in the country's history. The
soldier offered to provide military information to an undercover officer
pretending to be a foreign agent in late twenty nineteen.
The name of the country he attempted, despi for Law,
has been withheld by the court. The soldier handed over

(02:03):
phone directories for military camps, one of which was classified,
and passwords which would have given someone access to the
New Zealand Defense Forces system. He was charged with trying
to share information quote likely to prejudice the security and
defense of New Zealand, and pleaded guilty. At the time
of his arrest. The soldier was a member of far
right extremist groups. However, he told the court he has

(02:26):
since stopped any involvement. This was the country's first espionage
prosecution in a military court. A civilian spy trial in
the nineteen seventies resulted in an acquittal.

Speaker 1 (02:39):

highly effective in eliminating previously unresponsive tumors in eighty two
percent of certain patients with bladder cancer. The treatment, called
TAR two hundred, was used in a clinical trial for
people with a certain type of bladder cancer which had
previously resisted treatment. In most of these the cancer disappeared

(03:01):
after only three months of treatment. More than half of
the patients were cancer free a year later. The treatment
is a small device inserted into the bladder which releases
a chemotherapy drug slowly and consistently into the organ. Lead
researcher doctor Cir Danishmund said that while these patients have
had quote very limited treatment options in the past, this
