In this episode, I talk all about my personal journey with anxiety - how I overcame it by accepting it and looking back into the root. I also talk about how I went about understanding anxiety and the fact it couldn't kill me.
While I struggled with anxiety, there was a point when I found myself very vulnerable. I didn't want people to see me the way I was when there was a panic attack. And at the same time, being able to emotionally regulate your life is really important because people are not always going to come through for you.
People do not always have the right things to say, and they don't really have a lot of the answers. So that's what I encountered.
I went home from an experience, feeling shaken, feeling scared, and then I had the fear of fears, which, you know, once you have one of these experiences that are, you know, traumatic because you just don't even understand what happened to you.
You don't even have the right information and you're just trying to figure things out, but you start to develop a fear of fears, not knowing whether it will happen again and when it can happen again.
And then, gathering information from different quarters, I realized that people had harrowing experiences like the one I had, on a regular basis. I dived into information, I started listening to different psychiatrists, different psychologists, Christian doctors, people that were brain specialists, people that worshipped the brain. And I really started to understand that a lot of it had to do with this emotional part of your brain, which collects data from your body.
Get the help that is right for you and I'm telling you like you don't have to be trapped. Stay tuned to know more.
