Last Week

The most recent issue of The End - the 28th - highlighted 3 shows in the Season Finales & Finished Series section, and 2 of them wrapped in the last week:

• The Holland Case, a dramatized mystery from Kaitlynn Branco, posted the season 1 finale on 10 Mar 2023. There are 10 episodes, and it will take you just under two hours to listen.
• Lazarus Jones is a dramatized urban fantasy from The Big Dirty Monster that also posted its season 1 finale, also on March 10th. Only this time, it will take you just under four hours to listen to the 10 episodes of that season.

This Week

With every issue, I made two personal recommendations for great audio fiction I personally love. 

• My first recommendation is for my fellow post-apocalyptic with zombies fans. Hannahpocalypse, A dramatized horror comedy from Red Fathom Entertainment, is a female-empowering, fourth-wall-breaking, fun romp that I think you’ll love. Hannahpocalypse just finished its first season, but with a sufficient resolution. For now. Catch up with this season in about 6 hours, and get ready for Season Two slated for October. 
• Next is Iowa Chapman and the Last Dog, A dramatized scifi story from Gen-Z Media. Now, I’m clearly a sucker for post-apocalyptic fiction. But this one is kid-centered, and is presented in an “educators edition”, giving a “science behind the story” at the end of each short episode. It’s a very cool format. Iowa Chapman and the Last Dog is a complete story that will take you five and a half hours to the 14 total episodes.

Next Week

The latest issue of The End has a single entry in the New Seasons Coming soon, but it doesn’t start for four weeks, so I’ll have to wait to mention the Season 2 return of  HAUNTED: The Audio Drama, Dramatized horror from Impala Films. But I suppose if you wanted to really get ahead and listen to the 32 episodes now, that’s fine. I mean, it’ll take nearly 17 hours, so you might as well, right?
