SPEAKER_00 (00:03):
Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.
I made a smaller video on mysocial medias today trying to
explain just briefly about whatmy new subscription format will
be all about.
It's kind of hard to do it on avideo, especially when I try to

(00:23):
make one video for all platformsand like right now Instagram,
the reels can only be threeminutes or under.
So I wanted to just get on, makea quick episode about the
subscription feature that I'vestarted.
So, as most of you know onsocial media, I just have to be,

(00:48):
anyone, especially a creator, has to be very cognizant of what
they're saying, the information.
It can't be too graphic innature.
That's why a lot of times whenI'm saying certain words in the
description of the video, I'mlike using different signs

(01:12):
instead of spelling it all outin letters.
I'll break it up.
You can still see what I'mtrying to say, but without
typing it, I won't get dinged.
And so it's like reasons likethat.
It's very hard for me to be asopen.

(01:34):
as I want to be.
I have to watch my words a lot.
I've noticed, and a huge reasonfor this, me making a
subscription format for some ofmy episodes.
The reason, a top reason, therehave been numerous teens talking

(02:01):
like kind of, I would say, 14and up and they've had
legitimate questions about avideo or they've told me they've
talked they've seen somethingheard something and it just had
them questioning had themdoubting so that made me realize

(02:25):
that okay there are young oneswho are trying to make up their
mind or trying to make sense ofthese feelings they have.
Because when you have thesefeelings and you're in that
cult, the Jehovah's Witnessescult, it's hard to have doubts.
You question yourself.
It's how they program you.

(02:46):
You think something is wrongwith you, but in reality, you're
doing what you should be doing.
Free thinking, criticalthinking.
And so, I was like, since I havethese young ones visiting too, I
really, really have to watchwhat I say, especially when it

(03:07):
comes to someone deciding whatthey want in life.
I'm not going to flat out tell aperson all I can do is give you
my reasons, show you facts, documents as to why I feel the
way I do.
It's up to you what you feel.
I don't want to just spendsomething totally negative when

(03:31):
I have these PIMO teens thatlisten to me and watch my videos
as well so that being said I'mlike it's kind of hard because
people like a week and a halfago or so I posted like it was a
four videos series I did aboutthree people that I was in the

(03:55):
same congregation but they weredoing some like diddy party
stuff on their own and so I haveso many questions in the private
message, but it's like, I wouldrather just be able to talk
freely and tell you what I wantto say and like not sugarcoat

(04:17):
anything because, you know, again, even with the adults, I
have those that have alreadyleft their XJWs, but then I have
some that are PIMO.
Um, and they may be undecided.
They may, It may be a reasonthey can't just directly leave.
Everyone has their own reasonfor when we were in that PMO

(04:39):
stage.
Even with the adults, I want tobe fully transparent, give you
my experiences, my ideas, myopinions, so that you can make
an informed decision or that youcan know that I'm in the right
community.
I'll be seen and heard here.

(05:02):
Like these are the people I wantto rock with.
And so I feel by me having asubscription type episodes that
I can choose because I'll stilldo the regular podcast.
Like that's not going anywherebecause I already have a good
base that's starting.

(05:24):
You know, not only in America, but Canada, the Netherlands.
UK, Italy.
So the podcast episodes thatI've already started, those
won't be going anywhere.
And, you know, I still want apresence with it.

(05:45):
The subscription or the premiumplus is where I won't censor
myself.
I won't hold anything back.
I'm just going to be talkinglike I say in the description.
on the subscription page I'mjust going to be talking real
and raw straight no chaser likethat's what I want to offer with

(06:06):
it and again it's like when Isay subscription I'm not it's
not something for me to try togouge or get rich but it's just
something to help me especiallyon the technical side because
with the podcast and all thesocial media the podcast

(06:28):
platform I use to send it tolike 25 other directories or
podcast platforms it's all acost associated with it and the
more I grow the more cost I haveto spend to support it and so
yeah I put a monthlysubscription for the premium

(06:51):
plus episodes at$7 a month andThat will give you just me,
unfiltered, unafraid, and justtell you straight-up stories
that I know that I've been in.
Also, what I want to do, too, with the premium episodes is I

(07:17):
want to have individuals, ifthey want to, email me a
question or email me astatement.
And so...
Part of that premium episode, itmight be me retelling a story.
Another part of that episodewill be me reading questions.
And you can put on there, whenyou email me, you can put on

(07:39):
there, if you want to stayanonymous or if you want me to
say a first name, if you want meto say your first initial,
totally up to you.
But I'm going to be readingquestions that I get and
answering them all, no matterwhat it is.
on that premium episode format.

(08:00):
So like I said,$7 a monthsupports me on the back end with
the technical, especially as Ikeep growing on social media and
the platform.
I'm realizing that to do allthat, have the infrastructure to
do that technically, is costinvolved with it.

(08:23):
And I want to do it right sothat I can I always have
something to support all of youall with.
My ex-JW and my Pimo friends, like, making this community for
us.
So, that is why I decided tomake a$7 a month subscription

(08:48):
premium plus episode for mypodcast.
And, yeah.
You'll just get the real deal.
I'll speak my truth openly, moreopenly than I can on my social
media and my normal podcast.
And I'm going to mark all thepremium episodes that I make.

(09:09):
I'm going to check that box thatsay explicit content because I
just want to be able to talk andnot...
I just don't want to dilute thethings I wanted to say.
And the answers...
that I'll be giving you all.
Like, yeah, I don't want todilute it.
I just want it to be me, mypersonality, fully me, giving

(09:33):
you my answers, my advice, whatever you have to ask.
So, yeah, I wanted to make thisquick episode to further explain
what the Premium Plus episodesof my podcast will have.
I'm excited about it because, like, I get messages every day

(09:54):
on every social media platformand people emailing me and just
thanking me for having thecourage to speak up first, but
also to provide a safe placewhere we all feel comfortable.
No one's judging us.

(10:14):
We may be ex-Jehovah'sWitnesses, but we all have
different paths that we'vetaken.
And in our community, we respecteveryone.
I might not see a particulartopic eye to eye, but I listen
to you just like you listen tome.

(10:35):
And we get along, no judgment.
And that's the kind of communityI want.
That's the kind of communityI'll continue to build.
And I'm already lining up peopleto interview.
And when I do interviews, It'llhave to be on the premium
because, like me, I want them tobe open and free and honest and

(10:58):
feel like they can just speaktheir truth without having to
worry about, oh, I can't saythat, oh, I can't say this.
So I'm already lining upinterviews to interview
different people that are eitherPMO or ex-JWs.
I want to put them on thepremium plus subscription.

(11:20):
platform on my podcast.
So a lot of big thingshappening.
Email me.
I like to hear your comments oryour questions.
It's xjdub1 at gmail, soe-x-j-d-u-b, the number one, at

(11:41):
gmail.com.
And you can look me up on socialmedia platforms, xjdub,
e-x-j-d-u-b.
Look me up on that on anyplatform.
But if you do choose tosubscribe to me, I thank you in
advance.
I appreciate you.
I appreciate you wanting tosupport free thinking and

(12:07):
critical thinking and freespeech.
I thank you from the bottom ofmy heart if you choose to
subscribe to my premium podcastepisodes.
But with that being said, I wishyou a good day and make it a
great one.
