Coming up this time, Aroun, I'll give you my thoughts
on a superhero movie casting and a historic moment in
(00:56):
the halls of commerce. You're listening to a right robot
radio right here on the Forecast Media Podcast Network. Let's
power it up. So we have a release date for
the film Avengers Doomsday. Now, a lot of who's going
(01:19):
to be in it was sort of kept under locking key,
but there was a very lengthy video that Marvel put
out putting each of the actor chairs, you know, the
chairs with the actor's name behind it, letting everybody know
who's going to be in it. And previously all we
(01:44):
knew that Robert Dodding Junior would be coming back to
the Marvel movies playing Doctor Doom. Now we know so
far that Chris Hemsworth is gonna be back playing Four,
(02:04):
Herbie and Pedro Pascal, They're gonna be playing Read Richards
and Sue Storm, you know, the Fantastic Four movies coming
out in a few months. Simeel Lou He's gonna be
(02:26):
back playing Shaun che we haven't seen him since shaun
Chee and the Legend of.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
The Ten Rings.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
You know, Winston Duke is coming back as some Baku.
We have the Tisha Wright coming back as sure. You
know she has the title of Black Panther now. So
it'll be interesting to see what developments are going on
in Wakanda. But I think the part of the reveal
(03:07):
that got people most excited was the fact that we
have a lot of X Men characters coming back, a
lot of whom we haven't seen in quite a few years.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
You have.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Patrick Stewart coming back as Professor Xavier, Ian McClellan coming
back as Magneto. Kelsey Grammar is returning to his role
as Beast. You've got Rebecca Romaine. She's coming back as
(03:42):
Miss Howe's exactly that going to work because of a
previous movie, but I'll save that for another time. Alan coming,
he's coming back as Nightcrawler. Now, if you watch that
Pool and Woverine last summer chatting, Tatum kind of went
(04:04):
over the crowd with his portrayal of Gambit. So we're
gonna have Gambit in some role in this new Avengers movie. Now,
the hype train is leaving the station and people can
(04:25):
let their imaginations run away with them. But this is
gonna be a two hour and some change movie.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
Closer to two fifteen, two twenty what was looking like?
So is there gonna be time for everybody to shine?
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Is there gonna be enough screen time? Because this cast
list is loaded?
Speaker 3 (05:02):
Will people.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Be disappointed if their favorite character or characters don't get
a lot to do except sit around and twiddle their thumbs?
And we're now dealing with multiple realities, So are you
going to see the version of the character that you
(05:26):
like back in the day or is it going to
be something different for this movie? And will audiences accept
perhaps more sinister version of a character.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
Of course, we're used to having Robert Downey Jr.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
As Iron Man, Will audiences accept him as Doctor Doom.
These are all variables that are in the air, but
it'll be interesting to see how everything shakes out. Did
you see the cast list reveal for Avengers Doomsday? And
(06:12):
what is your favorite Marvel movie? What is your favorite
superhero movie? I'd like to hear from you. You could
hit me up on Twitter at sundwave aight oh three.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
We can discuss.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Okay, we have some more movie news concerning Coyote versus Acme.
This is a movie I've talked about several times. It
has been saved. This was a completed movie that was
produced by Warner Brothers and it was slated to come
(06:56):
out in twenty twenty four. It was shelved by Warner
Brothers so they could take a tax right off. But
the movie has been saved catch Up Entertainment. They worked
(07:19):
out a multi million dollar deal. I believe it's around
seventy million. Catchup Entertainment. They're the ones who also bought
Looney Tunes The Day to Earth Blew Up. It came
out this year pretty good movie. Check it out if
you have not. If you ever liked anything in the
(07:41):
Looney Tunes, Light Up is definitely something you would want
to check out. But in any case, Coyote Versus Acme
set to come out next year now, because it's been
a minute. This is a movie about Wiley Kayo suing
(08:04):
the Acne Corporation. Of course, you know, Wile Coyote is
always trying to get new gadgets in his pursuit of
the road Runner. Of course, the attempts failed spectacularly. But
Will Forte is in it, and John Cena is in it,
(08:26):
so I believe he's playing the antagonist, the lawyer for
the ACME Corporation, which kind of low key is coincidental.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
Of course.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
You know, if you're following wrestling John Cena, you know
he's playing a bad guy, a heel in the WWE
world right now, So we don't know how much more
wrestling he's going to do, but it's going to play
into that whole villain antagonist arc that he's doing now. Professionally,
(09:14):
I'm just glad that this movie is finally getting a
release date. Glad it's going to see the light of day.
Good bad, or indifferent. I think it's good that the
(09:35):
movie's coming out, because I hated all these people would
put their time and effort to making a film and
just not.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
Be distributed for the sake of.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Taxes.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
It just seems kind of.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
Unethical, kind of like burning down your house or destroying
your car for the insurance.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
Payout.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
But any other side of the Looney Tunes coin. Now,
a lot of the classic shorts have been removed off
of the Max app, but they have been featured on
regular Cartoon Network. Of course, if you have MeTV course broadcasts,
(10:37):
you can watch the classic shorts every morning Monday through Saturday,
and also Tidy Tombs. Luniversity has also wrapped up the
reboot to the nineteen ninety one series and running on
Cartoon Network for a little while, but they decided to
(10:58):
put it on and Max so you can watch on
your phone, just not on regular television. And they're talking
about tearing down Turmitic Terrace now. Turmitic Terrace is the
nickname for the building where the original Looney Tunes were
(11:18):
drawn and all those original shorts were produced. And I
don't know what's going on at Warner Brothers, but certain
things should just not be touched. They're trying to make
some building space. But my whole thing is like that
(11:42):
building created so many iconic pieces of art. Is not
just cartoon history, not just animation history, not just television history.
That's a piece of American history. It's like chopping down
some of Yellowstone. It is like putting a strip mall
(12:02):
in the middle of the Grand Canyon. Hit me up
on Twitter at saleve a three. Of course, you can

We can discuss coming up next.

Podcast Network. What's going on, peeps, You're listening to Giant
Robot Radio right here on the Forecast Media podcast Network.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
Okay, so there has.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
Been a historic moment in Congress recent Senator Corey Loooker.
He represents the state of New Jersey, and he set
the record for the longest speech on the Senate, going
(13:03):
for twenty five hours, starting on a Monday night and
going into that following Tuesday evening. Now, the previous lengthy speech.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
Hadn't given by South Carolina Senator Strom Thurman.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
He was a Democrat at the time and switch his
allegiance to the Republican Party.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
Now.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
The reason he gave that twenty four hour speech when
he did was to oppose the Civil Rights Bill.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
There have been a lot of policies.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
That have been enacted by the Trump administration, and a
lot of the people who support the Democrats feel that
they're not.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
Doing enough to oppose.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
There's very little they can do at the moment, considering
that they don't have the White House, the Senate, or
the House. These lengthy speeches or filibusters are normally done
in opposition of policy.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
You have a certain amount of time that you have.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
To pass a bill. I just think it's a great
physical feat because when you're doing the filibuster, like you
gotta just stand up there and stay up there. There's
(15:11):
no bathroom breaks, there's no full break.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
You just gotta keep going.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
And I think, how do you even come up with
a day's worth of things to talk about? Like some weeks,
I don't know if I'm gonna come up with twenty
minutes of talking points, let alone twenty four plus hours.
(15:51):
But we will find out if this becomes a moment
or a movement. We'll see how the Democrats do with
this moment that they have the eyes on them. Now,
(16:17):
if you can come up with three things to rather
the people around and get the Democrats on the same page,
because right now they're not in the same library. But
if you can get them on the same page, you
can see some real change going forward. And I think
(16:40):
one of those things is a fifteen dollars minimum wage.
I think that's something that a lot of people could
get behind. But we will see how Donnie me start
(17:01):
respond to this filibuster action by Corey Booker. Did you
watch some of the Corey Booker speech? What did you
take from it? And what do you think is going
to be the action going forward in Washington? Hit me
(17:24):
up on Twitter at Soundwave eight old three. Of course,
can always email me at more Phenomenal at gmail dot com.
Speaker 3 (17:30):
We can discuss.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
Now.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
Got a little bit of sad.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
News here concerning an Atlanta rapper order recently.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
Lost his life. Now, he was.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
In the process of celebrating his birthday when in the
Atlanta police showed up to his location. He fled the
scene and he heard his leg and was being reported
as the.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
Injury to his leg.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
He lost a lot of blood and that's what caused
him to die. Now, it was being reported there was
a shooting, but that accusation has not been confirmed. Now
(18:43):
there was an arrest because it's believed that the nine
to one one call that brought the Atlanta Police too
Young Scooters location was false. There's a woman that goes
(19:04):
by the name of Demi Blanco. She's on the reality
show Baddie's Is on Zeus. She made a none to
one one call said there was a woman being enough
that there was a child in danger. When the police
(19:27):
get there, they don't see any signs of.
Speaker 3 (19:37):
Gunfire.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
They don't see any women or children in immediate danger,
And we don't know at the moment what is the
nature of the relationship between Demi Blanco and Young Scooter
or anybody in his circle of in fluence. What's going
(20:04):
through my mind is if I know I haven't done
anything wrong at that particular moment, let the police do
their investigation and then they can take off. If people
(20:28):
immediately go to their corners. See, this is why we
shouldn't quote unquote believe what women say. There is a
history of women weaponizing police law enforcement to settle relationship disputes.
(20:56):
But we don't know if that's what's going on in
this particular situation. There's a lot that's up in the air.
It is very early, so for everybody involved their mental health.
(21:21):
Just so you don't end up saying something is wrong,
everybody's just slow down, take a beat, let the investigation
go forward, and then we can process the new information
as it comes out. It's just a tragic situation all around.
(21:43):
I remember there was an Atlanta rapper trouble a few
years back, and there was a situation with a woman
he was dealing with and his life was taken by
somebody that the woman was dealing with. Is not necessarily
(22:07):
a one to one comparison, but the information is similar.
A young schooler's name was familiar to me because he
is under future the collective of rappers that he assigned.
(22:32):
It will be interesting to see how everything plays out
because one of the reports say that the nine one
one call was being placed from outside of Fulton County. No,
Atlanta is in Fulton County. The call was coming from
the Calb County, which is the next county over. Again,
(22:57):
it is early in the investigation. Let's see how the
facts present themselves before we make a judgment. Just condolences
to all of Young Scooter's friends and family and fans
(23:20):
and loved ones. I want to thank you one and
all for listening. Please check out Throw Up Tackle every
