Speaker 1 (00:18):
Welcome to the Freedom First podcast, everyone.
This is episode number 32.
I'm your host, justin Arrington.
Thank you all for tuning inonce again today and I'm not
going to bore you guys with along intro.
But I just want to say thankyou for listening to the podcast
and, if you guys would not mind, if you guys get any value from
this show, please share it onyour socials.

(00:38):
Tag me and let's grow this show.
That's my whole purpose.
My whole intent is just to getthis word out to as many people
as I possibly can.
So, guys, if you listened toyesterday's episode, we uh, we
talked about the past and whyit's important to forget the
past, and I kind of dropped alittle nugget on what we would
be talking about today, and thatis asking questions and, um,

(01:03):
you know that that may soundlike a boring topic, but not
just asking questions, butquestioning things in your life.
I, uh, I personally believethat it is important to question
everything in life and I knowthat that's a lot, um, but I,
I'm sure, when, when I bring upthe topic of questions, um,

(01:24):
questions, you know you guys maybe thinking about, you know,
active learning or you know, asking questions in school.
That was one thing that Iabsolutely hated to do.
I you know.
Back, I think this honestlystarted like in kindergarten.
I don't think I really askedquestions um, like from
kindergarten all the way until Igraduated high school.

(01:46):
And you know, you guys know Ididn't go to college.
So, um, asking questions, likeI just grew up feeling like I
was the stupid, stupid kid inclass, like no one wants to be
made fun of for asking a dumbquestion.
But it took me, gosh, probably24, 25 years until I really,
really understood, like thereare no stupid questions.

(02:09):
If I don't have the answer tosomething I need to ask.
If I, if I never ask, I'm nevergoing to get get ahead, I'm
never going to learn, whateverit is that I'm trying to learn.
You know, as the greatscripture says, like asking you
shall receive.
You know, like you ask and youshall receive.
You know, like, if you want theknowledge, you got to get it
somewhere, and if you want toget it, there's going to be

(02:31):
questions that have to be asked.
So, like, what are questionsyou can ask?
Like I know I mentioned activelearning there's questions, you
know, that'll help you become abetter communicator or you get
more clarity or have a betterunderstanding or be able to
problem solve better.
You know, maybe you just wantto learn more about other people
.
Like you, have to ask peoplequestions in order to get to

(02:52):
know them.
My main purpose in talking aboutall these questions is in order
to gain insight on, and gainthe knowledge on, anything.
You have to ask questions andmake sure that you're asking the
right questions.
Don't be afraid to ask them.
You know, I think one of themost important questions that a

(03:14):
lot of us are asking is what amI supposed to do with my life?
What is it?
Sorry, I had a little alarm gooff on my phone.
What questions do you need toask yourself?
And when I was prepping for thisshow, you guys know we have the
four pillars faith, family, fitness and finance.

(03:39):
And the pillar that I canrelate asking questions to the
most is faith.
You have to have faith in orderto ask questions.
I'm a fairly spiritual person.

(04:01):
Am I the most spiritual person?
Probably not.
Do I have a solid relationshipwith God?
You bet I do, and it took me along, long, long time to
actually understand thescripture.
Ask and ye shall receive.
It was by asking the questionsof?

(04:24):
Should I start a business?
Should I start a family?
Should I get my body in shape?
Should I blah, blah, like, whatever it is?
Those are conversations thatI've had with God and those are
questions that I have asked himcountless times.
And guess what?

(04:45):
I receive answers.
That's where I start.
All my questions run throughhim first, and after I do that,
I put my faith in him that hewill guide me to get that answer
.
Whether it's through, you know, the internet, maybe it's
through a new connection that Imake or an existing contact that

(05:06):
I already have, he'll show methose insights.
So, guys, you need to questioneverything and you can break
that down into the four fillergosh.
Four fillers.
Again four pillars faith, family, fitness and finance.
Question your finances Are youfinancially stable?
Are you financially free?

(05:27):
Ask yourself that question.
With your faith, do you have agood relationship with God?
Do you feel like you knowyou're spiritually fit?
Fitness Do you need to questionyour physicality?

(05:47):
Faith, family, family I couldn'tremember which ones.
I talked about.
Family I couldn't.
I couldn't remember which ones.
I talked about.
Family Do you have questionsabout your family?
Are you spending enough timewith your kids?
Are you spending enough timewith your spouse?
Are you spending enough timewith your parents?
You know, like, where I'm atright now.
Like I, I've spent more timewith my parents in the last

(06:08):
couple of weeks than I, than Ihave in a long time, and I I've
been able to value that timethat I've been able to spend
with them more than ever.
Um, and I'll I'll probably diveinto that more um down the road
a little bit, but uh, for now, like I, I've been able to to
grow my relationships with myparents more in the last couple

(06:29):
of weeks than I ever have.
And all of that began with withasking questions what do I need
to do to be a better, a betterson?
What do I need to do to be abetter, a better father?
Like that, that's one that I'vebeen asking myself a bunch
right right now, Like we're meand my wife, like she, she's
about to have by the time thisepisode release, releases, I

(06:53):
could have another, another, another kid here.
So, um, depending on when hecomes, like I've been asking
myself how can, how can I becomea better father?
Like I'm going to be a fatherto three boys now and, in
today's day and age, like how amI supposed to, to manage them
and teach them and show them youknow what's right and what's
wrong.
Those are questions that I'veasked.

(07:16):
So what are some questions thatyou need to start asking
yourself?
Start with the four pillars, gothrough them.
Are you spiritually fit?
Are you financially fit?
Are you physically fit?
Are you family fit?
Are you family fit?
Start there, like.
Those are four questions thatyou can ask yourself, four
pillars that you can build anincredible life on.

(07:38):
If you are willing to ask thosequestions and if you are willing
to to, you know, be open toreceiving answers and not be
afraid to ask and and just andreally start building a life
that you can live on your ownterms, that you can be 100%
happy with.
That's why it's so important toquestion everything in life,

(08:00):
everything.
Why are trees green, I don'tknow?
Pray about it and ask I don'tknow, why is the sky blue?
Why do we like?
There's so many questions youcan ask and if you're open, and
if you have faith and you'reopen to receiving, receiving
answers, it'll be.
It'll be a pretty coolexperience for you Like to to

(08:23):
really understand the importanceof asking questions in life
like that.
That's how we build our like.
We build our life uponquestions.
We build our lives upon faith, hoping that we're doing the
right things day in and day out.

(08:44):
So ask questions.
Don't be afraid to askquestions.
Don't be afraid and think thatpeople are going to think you're
stupid, because if they thinkyou're stupid for asking the
questions, chances are they'rethe stupid ones because they're
not willing to put in the work.
But if you guys are which, ifyou're listening to this show,
chances are you're wanting tobetter yourself.
So get after it, start askingthose questions and start
listening.
Ask and you shall receive.

(09:04):
Guys, ask and you shall receive.
