Is it truly easier to be a loser? Join me, Justin Arrington, on today's episode of the Freedom First Podcast as we confront the harsh realities of winning and losing. I'll share a gripping story from a little league coach who didn't hold back when teaching his team about the stark differences between winners and losers. Brace yourself for a conversation that goes beyond mere words, challenging you to reassess your mindset and adopt a winning attitude, no matter the obstacles you face.

We'll also draw inspiration from one of my favorite films, Remember the Titans. This classic sports movie is packed with motivational moments that illustrate how a relentless winning mentality can lead to extraordinary successes, even against the toughest odds. If you're ready to transform your mindset and truly embrace a life brimming with freedom and opportunity, this episode is your blueprint. Tune in as we uncover the secrets to dominating each day with a winner's mindset.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Welcome back to the Freedom First Podcast.
This is Justin Arrington withyou on another episode of the
Freedom First podcast.
Guys, this show has been anabsolute riot for me.
It's been super fun to sitbehind the mic multiple times a
week and record these episodesfor you guys, and if you guys
have been following the show fora while, all that you ask is

(00:38):
that you share the show if youreceive some sort of value input
, and that's really all that Iask.
I hope that every single one ofyou guys that listen to this
show day in and day out is justout there chasing your dreams
and you know, eventually you'llget there to living a life full
of freedom and full ofopportunity.

(00:58):
That is my only wish for everysingle person that does tune
into the show.
So, as always, I like to keepthem super short, super sweet
and, with that said, let's goahead and dive into it.
Guys, today I wanted to talk toyou why it is easier to be a
loser, and that it's just, it'sthe truth.

(01:19):
Like, losing is going to be way, way easier and it's going to
be a lot harder.
You're going to live a lotharder of a life if you choose
to be a loser.
Now, when I hear someone say orcall someone a loser, I mean,
growing up you're just alwaystaught like, oh well, you don't

(01:41):
say that to people, it's notnice to call people losers, but
you know what it is.
And when I think about losing, Ithink back to a video like I
saw this, you know, multipleyears ago and I've seen it a
couple of times since then Um,but it's his coach and he, he's
coaching literally baseball.
I think it's baseball, um, buthe's just talking to his, his
players, and it must have beenbefore like a tournament or

(02:03):
something like that, and he, hesat them all down.
He gets down, you know, ontheir level and and he just
tells them all.
You know what.
There's two types of people inthis world there's winners and
there's losers.
And then he goes on to.
He goes on to explain like whata winner is and you know how.
Their team's there to win andto to dominate every single,
every single.
And then he flips the scriptand he just says like, and I'll

(02:28):
be the first one to tell you ifyour dad or your mom says that
it's okay not to win, they'reprobably losers.
And the video is super funny, but it's super true and it's the
truth.
I mean, there's no way tosugarcoat it.
Um, you know, having a losermentality or just saying, like

(02:49):
you know, I didn't win today, but, man, that's all right,
you're a loser, like, if that'swhat your mentality is, you will
lose for the rest of your life, unless you switch something in
your brain that gets you on thetopic of winning, and not just
winning, but winning anddominating every single day.
And I know it's impossible todo that every day Like you're

(03:09):
going to have hiccups, you'regoing to have days where you
don't, where you just don't wantto do anything, and that that's
okay, but that's when, uh, whenyou have to really push through
.
That's when you have those testdays, and just when you want to
burn everything down to theground.
Just remember, I am a winner, Ihave a winner's mentality, I am
going to win.
I'm going to win, guys, I lovesports movies.

(03:32):
As far as movie genres, that'smy all-time favorite.
In fact, one of my favoritemovies of all time is Remember
the Titans with DenzelWashington.
There's a scene in that moviewhere the coaches are telling,
like you know, saying it's okay, you know, if you lose, like
it's okay, you've alreadyaccomplished enough.

(03:54):
You know and this was back whenracism was super heavy, and you
know, he just looked at him andhe goes no, I'm a winner, I'm
going to win.
And that's what they did.
They had an undefeated season.
Like it's an incredible movie.
If you guys haven't seen that, there's a lot of really cool
like inspirational momentsthroughout that.
But like, the main focus of thatmovie for me is just to stay

(04:17):
focused on winning, stay focusedon dominating, because it's so
much easier to just throw in thetowel and give up and no matter
where you're at, whether it'son your entrepreneurship journey
, whether you're just working onyour body and you're not seeing
the changes that you want to inthe gym, and you just want to
throw in the towel and go eat abox of Oreos or whatever it is
guys, that's the easy route.

(04:39):
The easy route is just to quit, roll over and die.
So which person are you?
Are you a winner or are you aloser?
And if you are a loser, it isokay to admit that.
In fact, that could be theturning point in your life right
now.
You know, if you're not whereyou want to be in life and

(05:02):
you're catching yourselfcomplaining more than you are
being happy, chances are you'reliving a loser life.
So stop being a loser and getout there, start wanting to
dominate more.
There's nothing wrong with that.
There's no shame in wanting towin.
It drives me absolutely nuts, especially with kids sports

(05:23):
nowadays, that they don't wantto keep score because they don't
want to hurt anyone's feelingsand all that's doing is building
up a softer generation.
It's okay to keep score.
You should be keeping score.
You should be keeping scorewith yourself, with your
competitors, whoever it is.
Show up to win every day and youwill see results.

(05:44):
You will win, you will dominate.
And I'll tell you right nowprobably in today's day and age,
people are so lazy that it'sprobably easier to win now than
it ever has been before.
I know that because I've seenit Like.
There's people that get into myindustry and you know they try
it out for a couple of months.
They don't, they don't get adeal, they don't make any money
and they quit.
So what?

(06:07):
Who are you going to be?
Are you going to be the winneror are you going to be the loser
?
If you're listening to the showtoday, I know you want to win.
So let's make it happen.
Go out there today, do what youneed to do, check off the win
box and then, when you wake up,go out and do it again.
And you do that day in and dayout.

(06:27):
Over the span of a couplemonths, a couple years, you will
see the most gosh I don't evenknow what the word is.
You'll see the biggest changein your life.
You'll be able to start livinghappy.
You'll be able to start livinglife on your own terms.
That's my whole purpose of thisshow.
So, guys, go out, get the Wtoday and then get another one

(06:54):
tomorrow and the next day andthe next day.
Keep building, keep growing.
I love you guys.
Thank you all for tuning intothe show once again today.
So just come and learn how tobuild a free life, living on

(07:19):
your own terms.
