Guys, if this is your firsttime tuning in, I appreciate you
all for giving this show achance.
And on this show I talk about, you know, little tips and tricks
that you can start to applytoday that will eventually start
(00:39):
leading you to live a life offreedom and leaving it on your
own terms.
All that I ask is that you guysshare the show with someone who
you feel like would benefitfrom it.
That's it, I mean.
There's no fee, anything likethat.
It's free, and I just reallyhope that I can provide you some
sort of value today that you'llbe able to carry on throughout
the rest of your life, to makeyour life awesome and, honestly,
(01:03):
just a fulfilled life.
That's everyone's purpose, atleast my belief is.
You got to live a life ofpurpose, you got to be happy,
you got to be doing things thatyou want to be doing, and I
believe that that all startswith freedom.
So, guys, with that said, let'sdive into today's show.
Today's show is going to beabout why you started and why
(01:30):
it's important to remember whyyou've started?
Why have you gone on thispersonal development journey?
Why did you start the business?
Why did you start getting intofitness?
Why did you start dating yourspouse again?
Why did you want to build arelationship with God?
Why, what's the point?
(01:51):
What was your purpose behind it?
I want you to think about thatfor a second.
Think of one thing in your life.
For me, first one that comes tomind why business?
Why did I start my own business?
Why do I work for myself?
You want to know why.
(02:13):
Because I was sick and tired ofliving paycheck to paycheck.
I was sick and tired of havingto be places that I didn't want
to be.
I was sick and tired of when Icould go home.
I was sick and tired of when Icould go home.
I was sick and tired of when Icould see my kids, my kid I only
had one back then.
That's why I started.
(02:34):
That's why I've had tosacrifice more things in the
last five years.
Yes, it's hard, but it has beenso worth it for me to start my
own business.
It's been so worth it.
I have zero, zero regrets.
So why did you start?
(03:00):
Another example of mine was, like a few years ago, like I
felt like I felt verydisconnected from God.
Another example of mine was, like a few years ago, like I
felt like I felt verydisconnected from God.
You know, not saying that myfaith was like dwindling away or
I wasn't a believer anymore,but like I felt like I didn't
know him.
And you know why I felt thatway.
(03:22):
It's because I stopped puttingin the effort to build that
relationship.
And ever since then, like Ipray all the time, you know, I
feel like I have a greaterrelationship with my Heavenly
Father now than I ever havebefore.
You know, me and Him are superclose.
I talk to Him about everything.
I ask Him for more guidancethan anybody else that I know.
(03:45):
That's why I wanted to build abetter relationship with him,
because I knew that he couldhelp me through hard times.
Another example when me and mywife got married and had our
first kid, like I startedputting on the pounds man, it's
easy to put on the pounds andhad our first kid, like I
started putting on the poundsman, it's easy to put on the
(04:05):
pounds and they weren't goodones.
So I started going to the gym.
Why did I start going to thegym?
Because I knew.
I want to be here for my kids.
I want to be healthy, I want tobe strong.
So that's why I started.
(04:30):
Why do I date my wife?
Why do I spend time with mykids?
Because I want to build arelationship with them.
So why did you get on this roadof personal development?
Why are you listening to thispodcast?
Why do you think that there'ssomething better out there?
Because there is.
(04:50):
That's why.
So, guys, when times get hardand you feel like you know that
there's just no point in tryingto do what I want to achieve
anymore, like my goals arestupid, I just don't even think
they're ever going to happen andI'm going to throw in the towel
and just you know, go back tomy old ways of living.
(05:11):
That's what you're going towant to do.
But then remember why youstarted.
Remember why you spent, remember why you got up early to
go to the gym.
Remember why you stayed up lateworking.
Remember why you wanted to begreat.
(05:34):
Don't ever, ever forget why youstarted.
And if you guys are in theearly stages right now, where
you're still trying to figurethat out, good, take notes about
what you're going through, journal it down, share it with
like-minded people.
But don't ever, ever, fall away.
(05:54):
Don't ever forget why youstarted working on yourself.
Don't ever forget why you kepttelling yourself I want a better
life.
You deserve it.
You deserve it and you'reputting in the work and even
though you may see or maybeyou're not seeing results right
now, they will come.
The results will come as longas you keep putting in the work,
(06:18):
as long as you keep putting inthe effort, as long as you keep
staying late, as long as youkeep working or waking up early.
Remember your why.
Why did you start?
Everything has a purpose.
I know there's a reason why, soremember that.
Guys, that's all I have for you.
(06:39):
I want you guys to take thisepisode to heart.
Share it with someone who youfeel like, maybe stuck or maybe
just going through it.
Maybe that'll help them out,but don't ever forget your why
and why you started.
