Do you believe a politician can save you from economic hardships? Think again. Welcome to another episode of the Freedom First podcast, where I, Justin Arrington, challenge the widely held belief that our financial success hinges on political outcomes. Sparked by the recent presidential debate on the 10th, this episode is a reality check for anyone waiting for the "right" leader to fix their economic woes. Instead, I argue that true economic resilience and success come from personal initiative and mindset. Whether it's Trump, Biden, or anyone else in office, your prosperity is in your hands—tune in to discover how you can navigate economic challenges regardless of who sits in the Oval Office.

Feeling overwhelmed by social media's constant economic and political noise? You're not alone. I discuss the pitfalls of overstimulation and how it affects our perception of economic reality. Many are nostalgic for days of cheaper gas and lower living costs, but waiting for the perfect conditions can lead to a life of dependency and inaction. I emphasize the importance of personal growth and self-reliance, urging listeners to take control of their economic futures. This episode is packed with practical advice to empower you to thrive in any economic climate and break free from the chains of external dependency. Don't miss it!

the economy, but before we diveinto it, if this is your first

I have been releasing a newepisode on this podcast for 50

(00:42):
days in a row.
Podcast for 50 days in a row 50.
50 days in a row, man, that's along time and I know there's
some of you guys who have beenlistening to every single
episode and I appreciate youguys so much.
It means so much that there'speople willing to listen to my
voice, and I'm also proud of youguys for tuning in, because

(01:05):
that means you're looking forsomething more in life.
You're looking to become abetter person, you're looking to
upgrade your life to the nextlevel, and my only goal, my only
purpose, is to help you guysfigure out what it is that
you're supposed to do.
Help you guys to reach thatnext level, no matter how long
it takes, and if I can be anysort of part of that, you know,

(01:26):
even if it's just one nuggetthat you guys get from this show
.
It was worth it to me.
So, like I said, guys, sharethe show, subscribe to the show.
It would really mean the worldto me.
That's the best way to growthis podcast and stay tuned to
the end of the show becausethere is going to be an
announcement.
But, like I said, guys, todaywe're going to be talking a
little bit about the economy.

(01:47):
This actually was not the showthat I had planned out for today
, but we just had thepresidential debate the other
day, on the 10th, and oh gosh, guys, I hear so many people
complain about the economy andyou know how they're just

(02:07):
waiting for.
Oh, trump's going to getelected and you know home prices
are going to come down, thingsare going to become more
affordable and you know whatthat might be the case, but no
one has a crystal ball.
No one's going to be able toyou know, predict the future
exactly how it is.
You know, I think, that anypresidential candidate, they can
say whatever they want during.
You know all the hype, all thedebates, whatever they may not

(02:31):
pull through with that, and sowhat I want you guys to realize
is like there's no politicianout there in the world that is
going to be out there to comeand save you.
If you want to be saved, if youwant to become successful, if
you want to be invincible in theeconomy, that's 100% on you.
You're going to have to makethe best out of any situation,

(02:55):
no matter who's president, nomatter if Kamala Harris is the
president, no matter if DonaldTrump's the president, even if
Trump gets elected.
You're not going to become agazillionaire overnight just
because Donald Trump got electedpresident.
Right, it's just it's not goingto happen.
You know, I I hear this all thetime, especially on social media
.
I know that our our episodeyesterday on social media um

(03:17):
gosh, this is one of the reasonswhy I'm kind of just getting
sick of it, because it'sannoying.
It's so repetitive.
Like I actually went through umInstagram yesterday and I
unfollowed so many you know propatriotism and I unfollowed so
many you know pro-patriotism,pro-united States, and like,
believe me, I am 100% red, whiteand blue to the core, but my

(03:40):
brain was just having too much, like I was overstimulated with
what was going on and there's somany people out there that are
just waiting for the economy toturn around.
Do I think that things need tochange?
Oh yeah, like I think thatthere's.
You know I miss paying under $2for gas.
I mean, who doesn't right?
But no politician is going tocome and save you.

(04:03):
No matter what the economy isdoing, you have to focus on
yourself and becoming the bestversion of you, and if you're
not willing to do that, you'regoing to be a slave on the chain
.
You know, bowing down towhatever anybody tells you.
They're going to tell you allthe economy sucks, it's not a
good time to start a business.

(04:24):
I would, I would wait, yeah, Iwould wait for sure.
Well, guys, that's just settingyou back who knows how many
years.
Heck, when I started real estategosh, that was probably the
worst.
Well, I'm not going to say theworst, but in my lifetime it
probably wasn't the best time tostart a business.
Yes, interest rates were lowand that was great, but at the

(04:48):
same time, that also caused abloodbath in the real estate
market at times.
Right after I started mybusiness, right after I went
full time on my own, guess what?
We got hit with a pandemic, scamdemic, whatever you want to
call it.
I think it was a load of crap, but that had a negative impact
on the economy.
I did it anyway.
I did it anyway and like, there's not been a year that I

(05:12):
have not made multiple sixfigures, you know, and now I'm
on the path to doing seven in ayear.
That's what I'm focused on.
So the more that I focus onmyself, like, the more likely I
am to be successful.
The more you focus on you, themore you will grow, the more you
will be able to tolerate.
That's it.

(05:34):
The economy is not going tosave you, no matter how much you
want it to.
You know, I shared the quote theother day.
I think I shared it with youguys.
I'm not 100%, not 100% sure, but it was the quote by Julian
Edelman.
Played for the Patriots.
Like that quote.
It's awesome, and I know I'vesaid a lot of quotes, but you

(05:55):
know it says tough times createstrong humans, you know.
So, matt, no matter what theeconomy is, it's up to you.
You know there's a book by uh,by a guy that I've been
following for a while.
His name is Mark Evans and it'scalled the Meconomy Meconomy.
I suggest you guys go out andread it.

(06:17):
There's a lot of really goodnuggets on focusing on yourself
and building what you want tobuild.
You are in control.
Nobody else.
Nobody has a say in what youcan and can't do.
So screw the economy.
Who cares what kind of economywe're living in right now?

(06:38):
Start living in your economy, start building what you want to
build.
That's it All said and done.
Go out and make it happen.
So, guys, with that said, I knowI said that I had an

(06:58):
announcement at the end of thisshow and I love doing this show.
I love podcasting, I lovehelping people.
I've been doing this for 50days in a row now.
50 days of short littlesnippets of me giving you guys
some sort of value that I'velearned in my life.
50 days of that.

(07:20):
I encourage you, guys, if youhave not listened to all 50
episodes by now, go back andlisten to them, because within
these podcast shows, I've talkeda little bit the four pillars
that I live my life by, that'sfaith, family, fitness and
finance.
There's episodes on all ofthose episodes.
I think I dove a little bitdeeper into each of those, on

(07:43):
episode two, maybe episode three, and I think I dove a little
bit deeper.
But, guys, it's it's beenawesome for me, like it's
honestly.
It's honestly pushed me prettyhard to stay consistent for 50
days and I'll be the first oneto tell you it's not been easy.
It's not been easy.
So, with that said, I I want tocontinue to provide you guys

(08:05):
with value, and if I'm going tobe able to to continue doing
this, I am going to cut back onhow many episodes I am releasing
every week and, honestly, it'sa little bit relieving to say
that, but I don't want to getburned out.
I'd rather sit down and maybehave a little bit longer podcast

(08:31):
conversations with with youguys.
Um, you know, maybe theseepisodes are are going to be a
little bit longer, maybe that 20to 25 minute range, um, so that
that's kind of what I'mthinking.
That's what I'm uh, that's whatI'm wanting to do from here on
out.
I haven't really dialed in aschedule.
You know, this is my show.

(08:52):
I can do whatever I want, right, and so, right now, I'm wanting
to still release two episodesevery week, and so whether
that's like a Monday, wednesdayor a Thursday or a Tuesday,
thursday, I haven't reallydecided yet, but I keep your eye
out for those shows to release.
We may be looking at bringingon some guests here in the near

(09:14):
future, which is something thatI think would be super cool.
Um, it's something that I'vealways wanted to do and maybe
it's just time to to make thathappen finally.
So, guys, I appreciate you a ton.
Like I said, stay tuned.
Um, you know, keep your eyesout for when the next show drops
.
I'm guessing the next one isprobably going to drop either

(09:34):
next Monday or Tuesday, but, anyway, I love you guys to
pieces.
Thank you all for listening tothe Freedom First podcast.
The last 50 days have beenabsolutely incredible and I'm so
glad that I released everyepisode that I did.
And if you guys haven't, go andrate the show, share the show.
It really would help the showto grow.

(09:57):

next week.
