Michelle mentions that oftentimes, as women we only really pay attention to our hormones during puberty and during menopause, but it’s important to remember that our Hormones have profound effects on our mental, physical and emotional health and they play a major role in controlling our appetite, weight, and mood. In fact, hormonal imbalances have become increasingly common in today's fast-paced modern lifestyle. The good thing is, eating a balanced and nutritious diet, regular exercising and other healthy lifestyle behaviors like meditation have been shown to help improve our hormonal health.
