In 1999, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police received a tip about the operator of a pig farm in Port Coquitlam, about an hour from Vancouver. The person who had called it in claimed that their friend, Lynn Ellingsen, had told them some disturbing things about the proprietor of the farm, Robert Pickton. However, only three years later, in 2002, she would bring them a very different story.
