In this episode, Susan Guthrie, discusses the growing trend toward hybrid mediations and meetings of all types.  As we move forward into a post-Covid world, and in-person meetings become possible again, it is certain that many clients will wish to conduct their dispute resolution sessions in-person.  It is equally true however, that many participants will choose to participate remotely and this can make things complicated!

It is universally expected that as the lock-down lifts, hybrid meetings will become the norm.  The many benefits of the virtual world, far beyond social distancing, will continue to encourage people to prefer to participate from afar and dispute resolution professionals need to be prepared!  Susan will review the complications that can arise, both psychologically and technologically, when some participants are physically present and some are virtual.  In addition, she reviews the technology available and other solutions that mediators, arbitrators and other dispute resolution professionals can implement in order to stay on top of the trend and make their practice even more attractive to potential clients in the coming years!  Just as so many had to learn and adjust to the virtual practice when Covid hit, hybrid mediations will be the next wave of innovation in the industry so get ahead of the wave and LISTEN TODAY!
