Austin (he/him) is a Chicago-based actor, writer, and photographer from Northern California. In June, Austin will receive his BFA in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University. He is certified by the National Society of American Fight Directors with additional training in (and love for) voicing for animation as well as classical and contemporary heightened text. With a background in movement, Austin has also trained in Motion and Performance Capture. His prose and poetry is informed by a continuous study of history and by the language of Ubuntu -- the South African philosophy that embodies the interconnectedness of humanity, a language which says "I am only because you are" and is driven by a deep love and respect for every fellow human one encounters. A drive for Austin is to use art, storytelling, and Ubuntu as a tool for a radical restructuring of our collective consciousness towards a safer and more just society for humanity and beyond. I have always been someone who wishes to be as connected to Nature as possible whether it be climbing trees or mountains, swimming in rivers and oceans, or simply basking in the smallest pools of sun wherever I can find them. After my entire world seemed to be transported online and strictly socially isolated, it was difficult to feel fulfilled by my interactions with Nature because of how desensitized the screens, loneliness, and chaos ended up making me. I began writing this poem at dusk one night after a full day of online classes and screens, I expected to write about these since it was where my head was at. I quickly realized that the poem wanted to about anything but and by the time the sun dipped below the horizon, I had explored each of my senses in a way that revived a gratefulness for Nature and my daily interactions with it that had been momentarily lost in a foreign electronic landscape. A huge thank you to both the AMOYT team for featuring my work and to all you beautiful listeners for listening!" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Created during a time of quarantine in the global Coronavirus pandemic, A Moment Of Your Time’s mission is to provide a space for expression, collaboration, community and solidarity. In this time of isolation, we may have to be apart but let’s create together.  Follow Us: Instagram | Twitter Created by CurtCo Media Concept by Jenny Curtis Theme music by Chris Porter Edited by Darra Stone A CurtCo Media Production   See for privacy information.

The Ron Burgundy Podcast

The Ron Burgundy Podcast

Will Ferrell reprises his role as Ron Burgundy in his brand new Ron Burgundy Podcast! Each episode has a different theme in which Ron engages in conversation with another notable person on the topic at hand. In true Ron Burgundy fashion, these conversations have a tendency to go off the rails, and we find out things about people we never knew we wanted to know. In season 2, Ron considers a run for President, continues to perform music, and blacks out at work. In Season 1, Ron addressed important issues like bullying and the mind-expanding nature of meditation, and attempted to ultimately answer the question “seriously, what is a podcast?”
