An epistolary novel, the story unfolds through letters, diary entries, and newspaper clippings. As much a historical novel as gothic fiction, Dracula is considered a masterpiece of English literature whose characters have endured for over 125 years. Recently, I watched The Last Voyage of the Demeter and really enjoyed it—and though I knew it was based on a chapter in Bram Stoker’s Dracula, it’d been years since I read it. Until now.
