Welcome to a new episode of the Roman Gabriel Show. Coming in with me is Anne Funder. She lost her 15-year-old son Weston who passed away after taking a "poison pill" containing fentanyl. 180 people a day in America are dying from Fentanyl Poisoning. Its the # 1 killer of 18-45 year olds in our country. The majority are accidental deaths, since 2021 the death of children 5 to 14 has risen by 1400%. I sat down with Anne who is now a powerful speaker all over the country advocating for parents nationwide about the dangers of Fentanyl, and the importance of understanding that it can happen to any parent or child no matter who you are. Her speech at the RNC brought a national audience to tears. She is now helping families and young people become more aware of this dangerous and deadly poison. Enjoy my conversation with a courageous parent and powerful voice ….. Anne Funder.

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
