It's been another long wait since the last episode of The Scratch Cast, we’re practically a quarterly podcast at this point, but we're finally back to discuss a load of great music released over the last few months!
On this episode, we discuss weak bladders, George Jetson’s birthday, broken foot gig cancellations, how George Clooney looks like a tortoise and oh yeah, music.
Snedds recants his experiences of “Viagra Boys” and “Man On Man” live and Grant gives us the lowdown on “Darwin Deez”.
The digital corkboard returns with album announcements from “WACO" (it’s been out for ages now), "Gogol Bordello" (it’s also out), "Press Club" and "Brutus".
On our singles swap we’re discussing “A Heretic's Inheritance” by Newark, New Jersey's underground hip hop duo “Dalek” and “Wrecked” from power pop garage rockers “Weird Nightmare”.
On submission corner, we've been sent the album “The Hum of the Machine” from sci-fi prog stoner rockers “Gramma Vedetta” and the “Shine” EP from the grungy post-hardcore band “Roseneath”.
Finally... our album selections this month are “Water Slide, Diving Board, Ladder to the Sky” from art-indie-rockers “Porridge Radio” and the new album ”Speak No Evil” from Glasgow-based multi-instrumentalist, singer and rapper “Becca Starr”.
Sit back, relax and listen to Episode 22: ”Testudinate C*nt”.

Betrayal Season 5
Saskia Inwood woke up one morning, knowing her life would never be the same. The night before, she learned the unimaginable – that the husband she knew in the light of day was a different person after dark. This season unpacks Saskia’s discovery of her husband’s secret life and her fight to bring him to justice. Along the way, we expose a crime that is just coming to light. This is also a story about the myth of the “perfect victim:” who gets believed, who gets doubted, and why. We follow Saskia as she works to reclaim her body, her voice, and her life.
