Ryan Hurt joined us today on The StoryField.
In the small town of Lingleville, Texas (166 residents as of the last census) you will find this church: Lingleville Baptist Church.
You will find Ryan Hurt preaching each Sunday to a crowd of around 1,200 people.
Ryan doesn’t look like your typically small-town Baptist preacher with his full arm sleeve tattoos. And, he certainly doesn’t have a typical story about how the Lord used him to grow a church from 38 people to 1,200 in regular attendance in a town with only 166 residents.
Join us today for a CRAZY journey known as Ryan’s life which includes playing professional country music; snorting line after line of cocaine in hopes he didn’t wake up the next day; to the drunk driving car wreck that started the transformation which landed Ryan on the stage of a church each week.
Ryan prays all the time for the Lord to not let him lose his first love – Jesus and his amazing grace.
Join us for this amazing story of God’s goodness and all the cool things He is doing out in Lingleville! Ryan would want you to come as you are and receive the love of Jesus.

Betrayal Season 5
Saskia Inwood woke up one morning, knowing her life would never be the same. The night before, she learned the unimaginable – that the husband she knew in the light of day was a different person after dark. This season unpacks Saskia’s discovery of her husband’s secret life and her fight to bring him to justice. Along the way, we expose a crime that is just coming to light. This is also a story about the myth of the “perfect victim:” who gets believed, who gets doubted, and why. We follow Saskia as she works to reclaim her body, her voice, and her life.
