(00:00):
This is Stephanie Maas.
Happy New Year.
Happy freaking New Year.
Holy shmoly.
I hope everybody has had a wonderful and restful holiday season, but we are here.
It was a tremendous year, and I am incredibly thankful for all the opportunities to meet new folks, get to partner with new folks, and I can't wait for more this year.

(00:26):
I have ditched my crystal ball, my magic 8 ball is in the trash, my crystal ball hasn't worked since the last recession back in 08 and 09.
But I do know this, whatever happens, we are coming into the year, Stronger, better.
It may not always feel that way.
I know for me personally, some of my priorities are in better order than they've ever been.

(00:52):
I feel like I'm more grateful for what I do have than I have ever been.
And I hope you feel the same way.
I hope we can stay focused on, hey, whatever it is, we can handle it.
Couple things if you haven't done so already, just to get ready for the new year.
Hopefully you've done a little bit of house cleaning, and I'm not talking about your actual home or place of residence, but in terms of your desk, your space, whatever the case may be.

(01:18):
Hopefully, you've spent a few minutes over the holidays clearing out the clutter.
And I do mean their physical space, but I also mean your mental space.
So I'm going to start off happy.
Why not?
Why not?
I'm here.
I have my health, my family, I have work to do, I have a roof over my head.

(01:39):
I have no doubt this year will bring lots of challenges, but for today, I choose happy.
And I hope you do too.
