(00:00):
Hi, this is Stephanie Maas, partner with Thinking Ahead Search Firm today.

(00:05):
I wanna give a shout out to all my community and regional banks.
This is based on a recent experience of a candidate that Iplaced in the last couple of months who came from a mega bank.
We were talking at the end of week one and I said, Hey, how did it go?
What was it like?
And he said, I have to tell you, I was really surprised this week.

(00:26):
So typically, I'm not a big fan of surprises.
Um, because most of the time it's not flowers, chocolate, wine, et cetera.
It's Oh, surprise, but not in this case.
He said when I got to work on Monday, we had orientation all day.
He said, usually, Stephanie, those are super boring.
They're long and it's monotonous.
You just know it's gonna be a painful day.

(00:47):
That's fine.
He said it wasn't.
It was actually very valuable information.
It was very helpful, and I really enjoyed the interactionamongst the other folks that I was there with.
Second day, he goes to his actual real desk.
He said everything was there, everything was set up.
He had his computer, he had business cards.
He had his phone.

(01:07):
He had his phone with a voicemail that actually worked and he chuckledand said, Stephanie, I was at my last employer for almost two years.
My voicemail never worked.
I was a constant, outstanding ticket with their IT department.
I had to chuckle, so it made me think about how important onboardingis one to give the shout out, and it's an easy thing, especially in you're, if you're in a slightly smaller organization to knock out of the

Bleep! with Ana Navarro

Bleep! with Ana Navarro

Fear thrives in silence and confusion. Ana Navarro rejects both. Her voice is an antidote to today’s chaos. Her new podcast, Bleep! with Ana Navarro, takes on today’s most pressing issues with the voices most connected to it: decision-makers, political leaders, cultural shapers, and people on the frontlines of the story. The conversations acknowledge the emotions we all feel—despair, sadness, fear— but emerge with knowledge, perspective, and hope. The belief is simple: fearless dialogue can transform fear into courage, and courage into change. When fear dominates the headlines, this show digs deeper. Because information, debate, and conversation don’t just ease fear, they give us power to shape the future.
