After a devastating draw with their sworn archnemesis, Victor, in 1800s London, the team tracks the watch through time yet again, emerging in the Los Angeles in the Summer of 1985. The watch is close, but an unexpected danger and relationship drama threatens to derail the mission!

Faced with an ultimatum of either death or delivering a message, the team embarks on a perilous journey with a warrior and a seamstress to use their treasure of time and space (currently inside a chicken) to save the day. But will a roving band of pirates and a mad alchemist...

After departing ancient China, our heroes experience some... technical difficulties on the return ride home, stranding them in the Time Vortex.
