A Patient Offseason

Tek & Prem discuss the first wave of free agency and some of the Eagles arrivals and departures. With tons of draft capital, the message from Howie to the fanbase to 'be patient' makes sense, and the front office has earned our trust coming off their Super Bowl blowout. The secondary will look very different, but Vic Fangio has studs at every level of his defense on the roster who are here to stay. Howie's approach of signing players to value deals with a low risk-high reward modus operandi has worked in the past with guys like Baun and Becton, and Eagles fans should expect the same again with the new additions. As March wraps up and the focus shifts to the draft, the Eagles flexibility and plethora of picks will be the key factor in how this offseason is viewed. The Phillies are tearing the cover off the ball this Spring and will start regular season play in less than two weeks time in DC. The shuffled lineup could mean more early run production and this rotation should be one of MLB's best yet again. The clock is ticking for this group.
