SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Hi, this is Biddy
Month, Steve Pelleterian.
I am the Weatherman.
Thanks for checking into theWeathermanpot.com on your
Friday.
It's the 28th day of the monthof November, 2025, and the month
of November winding down.
A little bit colder than normaland drier than normal continues
across the mid-Atlantic andnortheast.
But there are other places whereeven though we don't start
(00:20):
meteorological wintertime untilDecember 1st on Monday, lots of
snowfall on the south shores ofLake Superior, the east shores
of Lake Michigan, and alsoacross the southern shores of
Lake Erie and Ontario.
The worst of which was acrossthe UP of Michigan and northern
sections of Wisconsin.
We saw in many of those places, especially in the UP of
(00:44):
Michigan, between 20 and 30inches of snowfall in that joint
area between Lake Michigan, LakeUrin, Lake Superior.
Well, right around that, just tothe south in that UP section,
that's where we saw that heavyamounts of snow.
Also heavy amounts of snow thatexists from Duluth right up
through Sault Ste.
Marie, all along the southernshores of Lake Superior.
(01:06):
And we're also seeing somewherebetween, I look like between two
and as much as eight inches ofsnow from Cleveland across
through Erie, Cleveland, Ohio,to Erie PA.
And uh only just light amountsin the Buffalo area, 3.7 inches
seen there.
Uh Messina, New York, aroundfive inches, between three and
five from around Uticanorthward, right up to the
(01:26):
Messina area.
These situations will probablycontinue over the next couple of
days.
However, the winds do breakdown.
Then we have an area of lowpressure approaching the east,
going to give much of theMid-Atlantic and a northeast
rain, but it could start as aperiod of snow in northeastern
Pennsylvania, northwestern NewJersey, and southern New York,
and even sections of New YorkCity, but over the rain.
And that'll be on Sunday.
(01:48):
Then a fair day on Monday, andthen another storm approaches
with a better chance of someaccumulating snow in the New
York City area or at leastnortheastern PA, where between
as little as one to as much asfive inches of snowfall are
possible.
That'll be for Tuesday eveningand early Wednesday.
We'll have more to say of thatas we go through our weekend
reports.
So check back totheweathermanpod.com this
weekend for those storms onelater on Sunday and also on
(02:12):
Tuesday of next week.
Now, if you're traveling by airtoday, maybe to get home or
maybe to go visit after theThanksgiving holiday.
Here's the situation across thenation.
Generally dry weather downaround Atlanta, Central and
South Florida, no problems.
Charlotte's looking pretty good.
DC, Baltimore, and Philadelphia,no problems weather-wise, into
there.
Even New York City, NorcLaGuardia, JFK, no problems,
(02:34):
major problems expected.
Just uh that wind out of thewest always slows things down at
Norwich International.
Also looking at uh generallyfair conditions up in Boston,
but where we have the snow wasonce again the same place where
we had it earlier today, andthat's going to be across the
southern shores of LakeSuperior, eastern shores of Lake
Michigan, and south of LakeHuron, and south and east of
(02:55):
Lake Erie, Ontario.
Uh elsewhere across the nation, still uh generally dry in
Houston and Dallas.
However, there is that threat ofsome showers moving in next
several hours.
Chicago is looking dry.
Also generally dry to start inMinneapolis, but they are going
to get some snowfall, possiblybetween uh two and about eight
inches of snow in central andnorthern portions of Minnesota
(03:15):
and the Dakotas during thedaytime today.
West Coast looking dry from SanDiego, LA to San Francisco, but
rainy weather, but on the lightside from Portland to Seattle.
I've been your ball just SteveFellatier, and I am the
Weatherman.
We've got some uh wintry weathercoming up over the next several
days.
Check back to theweathermanpod.com.
Uh, both on Saturday and Sunday.
