SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Hi, this is Medium Roger Steve Pelletier, and I am
the Weatherman.
Thanks for checking in to theWeathermanPod.com on your
Thursday, 27th day of November.
It's Thanksgiving Thursday, andthe weather situation across the
Northeast has improved.
However, across the Great Lakes,it's all that cold air coming
right down out of Hudson Bay.
And then moving across LakeSuperior, Lake Huron, and also
to the eastern shores of LakeMichigan, southern shores of

(00:23):
Lake Erie and Ontario.
And that's going to cause someblizzard-like conditions in all
places in the UP of Michigan, especially along the uh just to
the south of Lake Superior, andas mentioned, uh just over the
eastern portion of the GreatLakes.
Uh places like Cleveland acrossthrough Erie and up to
Salmanica, and then even in uhjust south of Buffalo are going

(00:45):
to be getting tremendous amountsof snowfall from the lake
effects, snow showers that andsqualls that will be developing
over Lake Erie and also LakeOntario, too, places north of
Utica, Rome, and up in Messinaand just south of uh the
Canadian border.
You're just gonna see thoseplaces there between uh five to
fifteen inches of snow orhigher, maybe in some places

(01:05):
closer to the lake.
You can get maybe a couple offeet of snow from this
situation.
But across the northeast and theNew York area, it looks dry, but
a little bit windy for theparade in New York City.
Wind gusts will be up to 35miles per hour.
Also up in Boston, it's gonna bepretty good, plenty of sunshine,
but uh some fair weather cloudsduring the afternoon.
Fair in Washington,Philadelphia, and Baltimore.
Further south down to Charlotteand Atlanta, the weather's

(01:27):
looking pretty good.
There is some showers acrossCentral and South Florida from
West Palm south to Miami.
And out in Houston and Dallas,it's just dry, but uh a little
bit colder than you're normallyaccustomed to in a very cold
weather moving down into theDakotas, single digits and teens
and lower 20 is expected inthose places.
The Pacific Northwest, that'swhere another area of low
pressure is moving in.

(01:47):
Looks like it will give rain toPortland and Seattle right
through Friday morning.
But in the meantime, though, uhfor today, looking at sunshine
temperatures, only 40 to 45 withthose gusty winds out of the
west, making that wind chill afactor back into the upper 20s
tonight, 40 to 45 on Friday andSaturday.
Sunday looks like some rainmoving in from the west.
I've been your Major StevePellet here and I am the

(02:08):
weatherman.
Hope you have a greatThanksgiving day Thursday.
And uh looks like uh we aregoing to have some cooler
weather.
Now we'll continue right inthrough tomorrow.
We'll update the details lateron tonight and we'll talk to you
first thing tomorrow.
See you then.
