SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Hi, this is Middle
Model, Steve Pelletier.
I am the Weatherman.
Thanks for checking into theWeathermanpod.com on your
Wednesday.
It's the 26th day in the monthof November 2025, the day before
the holiday weekend.
The Thanksgiving holidayweekend.
Looks like the weather will befair for the most part, but
we've got a lot of action today.
Where all the snow is today,it's all across the Great Lakes.
From Wisconsin across northwardand through eastern and northern
(00:23):
Minnesota, northern sections ofIllinois, Indiana, all across
Michigan and the UP, and evenextending uh into northwestern
sections of Ohio.
But eventually that area isgoing to be drifting off to the
east.
The area of low pressure willmove across southern Canada,
into Ottawa, and then intoOntario, and uh probably give
areas just to the south and eastof Lake Erie, Ontario, uh some
(00:46):
heavy lake effect snow squallssometime later on tonight and
tomorrow morning.
But in the New York area,Philadelphia, Baltimore, D.C.,
the weather will be improving, but it will be blustery and
colder, with expected highs onlynear 45 to 50 down in D.C., only
about 43 to 48 in New York City, and holding between 40 and 45 in
(01:06):
the Boston area.
Still with a lingering showerthreat into the evening hours,
but then some clearing as a bigarea of high pressure.
Currently moving down into theDakotas, and the central portion
of the nation will be arrivingeast.
Give us fair but chillyconditions as we head towards uh
Thanksgiving Day and also BlackFriday and Saturday.
It looks like both days arelooking fair but chilly.
(01:27):
By Sunday, another area of lowpressure will be arriving in the
east, could bring us some rain.
But as mentioned, the big story,of course, the big snows that
are all across the westernportion of the Great Lakes
during this afternoon.
In some places, feet of snow, especially south of Lake
Superior.
Uh, probably not around Duluth, but to all areas, all coastal
areas in northern Wisconsin anduh western portion or the UP of
(01:50):
Michigan, we're looking atbetween uh anyways, between 10
and 30 inches of snowfallbecause of this big storm
heading off towards the east.
Won't be affecting the New Yorkarea or elsewhere across the
nation.
However, it is going to bedrifting eastward, and as uh
Lake Effect snow squalls southof Erie and Ontario will be a
problem for tonight and fortomorrow.
(02:10):
But uh it looks like the weathersituation for tomorrow is going
to be dry, looking at hightemperatures ranging only
between 42 and 47.
Saturday sunshine, or excuse me,Friday sunshine with
temperatures also in the low tomiddle 40s, uh mid-40s expected
for Saturday and near 50, withmore rainy weather moving in
from the west on Sunday of thisupcoming weekend.
That forecast generally for theNortheast Carter, D.C., up to
(02:32):
the Boston area.
And as mentioned, in uh westernNew York State, northwestern
Pennsylvania, even uh northernOhio, there'll be lake effects
snow squalls for tonight and forThanksgiving Day.
But dry weather in New York.
Now, if you're traveling today, big travel day.
It looks like the weather isbeginning to be okay in Atlanta,
but windy, so there's gonna bekind of slow.
And also into the Charlottearea.
(02:52):
There'll be some rain showersfrom Jacksonville across through
just north of Tampa St.
Pete, but down to central andsouth Florida.
It looks like the weather willbe okay, so no problems there.
Houston and Dallas are lookingfine.
Looks like snow and some squallsin the Chicago area, so there
will be delays getting in andout of there.
Similar situation for Madison,Wisconsin, and also up in
Duluth.
And Minneapolis, St.
Paul also with snow showers andsqualls, expected to slow travel
(03:16):
into those places.
But it will be improving atnight and during the daytime on
Thanksgiving Day.
Dry weather in LA, SanFrancisco, rainy weather in
Portland and in Seattle.
And that is going to be movingeast as we head through the next
several days.
I'm Eddie Rogers, StevePelletier, and I am the
Weatherman.
Hope you have a great day today.
Talk to your first thing onThanksgiving morning.
And if you take a day off on theWeatherman pod tomorrow, hope
(03:38):
