Jonathan has been a devoted advocate for justice in his community, serving nineteen years as both a federal prosecutor in the Eastern District of Virginia and an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Fairfax County.
Jonathan is running as an independent candidate, endorsed by the Republican Party. Jonathan firmly believes in putting public safety ahead of politics. He has been endorsed by eleven other Commonwealth's Attorneys of both parties, including Ray Morrogh, the current Commonwealth's Attorney, who is a Democrat.
During his career as an Assistant United States Attorney, Jonathan received several awards, including the John Marshall Award, the Department of Justice’s most prestigious award in 2015. Jonathan and his wife both grew up in Fairfax County. They are raising their three children here as well.
