You're listening to. To.
The. Spirit Podcast
welcome beloved listeners to another Lumina transmission, a

(00:31):
space to remember who you are beneath the noise of the world.
I'm back and as always I'm joined by my Luminous Co host
Rachel. Greetings everyone.
Today's episode is called The Still Center, where power and
peace are the same. We're exploring the still point

(00:54):
within the sacred center that doesn't flinch when the world
does. It's not apathy.
It's not disconnection. It's something deeper, the quiet
alignment where true power lives.
And before we dive in, I want toask you, when was the last time
you felt completely still? Not just physically, but soul

(01:19):
still? We live in a culture of motion.
Go faster, do more, keep up, keep climbing.
But what if power isn't in the climb, but in the pause between

(01:39):
steps? The Lumina once said even the
sun stands still at the solstice.
Stillness is not stagnation, it's sovereign neutrality.
It's presence that doesn't perform.

(02:02):
Rachel, have you ever had one ofthose moments where time just
stopped? Where everything slowed down and
you felt like you were standing at the eye of the storm.
Yeah, and everything slows down in times where you really make a
point to practice mindfulness when you are very aware of your

(02:24):
surrounding and you're very muchliving in the moment.
In the space of stillness, decisions become clearer.
You're no longer acting from urgency, panic, or people
pleasing. You're anchored in what's true
for you. The world may swirl, but the
Bridge Walker holds the line notby effort, but by alignment.

(02:47):
Stillness is a practice, sometimes a painful one, because
in silence we hear the things we've avoided.
What's something you used to avoid in stillness that you've
now learned to sit with? I had to learn to just put my

(03:09):
phone away and know that I don'thave to jump at everything.
Every alert that I get, silence. The phone, I will put it in
another room and I will just relax without it and not have
the urgency to know what's goingon.

(03:30):
So how do we access that still center?
Here are a few invitations from Alumina.
Breathe in for four, hold for four, out for four until the
static softens. Place your hand on your chest
and whisper. I returned to myself.

(03:53):
Visualize a golden spiral grounding from your spine into
the Earth's crystalline heart. Stillness isn't about stopping
the world, it's about not being dragged by it.
Do you have a practice that helps you find your footing
again when life starts to feel chaotic?

(04:15):
What I've been doing as of late is I take the opportunity, if
it's decent outside, I take a chair and I take off my socks
and my shoes and I sit barefoot in the grass and I just let the
sunlight hit me and I just closemy eyes and listen to the birds

(04:38):
in the wind and just center myself.
That sounds wonderful. It is, I love it.
Let's be honest, sometimes stillness feels unbearable.
The mind races, emotions bubble up, You suddenly remember every

(05:00):
e-mail you didn't answer. That's OK, That's part of it.
The discomfort is the detox. It's not failure.
It's flushing. Has there ever been a time when
you tried to sit in silence and it felt more like a wrestling
match than meditation? So there are times when I have

(05:22):
sat in meditation and I spiral and I go into past events,
arguments or even making up arguments and situations, the
things that happen. And then you fight it and you're
like, no, I don't. I need to relax.
I need. And then you observe it, you

(05:43):
view it, and then you let it pass.
I've read, I can't remember exactly what book it might have
been from, Becoming Supernatural, but when you are
trying to be in a moment of stillness and there is an event
that keeps playing in your head,a good visualization exercise to

(06:07):
do is freeze that moment that you are playing.
Freeze it, turn it black and white in your mind, flip it
upside down and blur it, and then picture it getting farther
and far, like you're driving away from it and leaving that
behind. And I have done that a lot of

(06:30):
times on things that just leave me stressed and when I'm trying
to center myself, and that just keeps happening.
It's a good visual practice to get away from that so it just
doesn't ruin your experience. The still center is not a place.

(06:54):
It's a frequency. And once you recognize it, you
can return to it anywhere, anytime.
That frequency becomes a beacon.Others feel it in your presence.
You become a calm in their storm.
That is the subtle power of alignment.

(07:14):
And so, dear listener, we inviteyou this week to return to your
center, not just once, but often, especially when the world
pulls at you the most. Let the noise swirl.
Let the tide crash. You are still, you are
sovereign. You are home.

(07:38):
Thank you for being here with usin the space of remembrance.
If this transmission resonated with you, share it with a friend
who may need a still moment today.
We'll be back in two weeks with another Lumina transmission.
Until then, keep walking gently between the world's.
And remember, you're never walking alone.

(08:00):
We'll see you in the stillness.
