They enjoyed a well-respected place within the community in which they lived. In November 1979 they were at the home of one of the friend's recently deceased mother, a detached property in the green countryside of northwest England.
There was a knock at the door. Evil was about to pay a visit.
Hours later their naked, lifeless bodies were found. But who had committed such cruel crimes and why?
