This episode is all about vibration. Did you know that you carry a vibrational frequency whether or not you realize it? And, the vibration we carry impacts our perception, our experience and even affects those around us. Vibration is explained as the quality or level of consciousness we embody and can range from dense “3D” to expansive “10D+" consciousness. Lower consciousness is connected to fear, resentment, shame, judgment, and limiting beliefs while higher consciousness expands wisdom, creativity, compassion, and clarity. If your goal is to raise your vibration, Jenni discusses real, practical, and effective strategies to do just that.

(00:09):
It's been said that the greatestchallenge of our time is
discerning fact from fiction, reality from fantasy, truth from
illusion.
I couldn't agree more.
Times are changing, the world ischanging, and I know that you
have felt it too.
Now more than ever, we need anew way of seeing ourselves and

(00:34):
each other.
This can absolutely happen whenwe understand the truth of who
we are.
When truth is recognized, questions get answered,
direction gets clarified, andall of that negative emotion
evaporates into peace.
Welcome to Truth and Beauty.

(00:55):
Because where truth isunderstood, beauty is revealed.
Hello, and welcome to Truth inBeauty.
Many years ago, I was attendinga conference for therapists.

(01:16):
I signed up for a workshop.
I have no idea what the titlewas, but I do remember an
activity we were asked to do.
We were to find a partner, someone we didn't know, and take
turns thinking about a deeplyemotional memory.
We were not to share or discussthe memory, just to silently
remember.

(01:38):
I was paired with a gentlemanwho was sitting next to me.
When it was his turn toremember, I began to notice
heaviness and a deep ache in myshoulders, back, and arms,
something that was not at allpresent just moments before.
At the end of the exercise, heshared his memory.

(01:58):
One of his parents had beenseriously ill.
Living hundreds of miles away,he had to make the long drive
throughout the night, all whilebeing worried and uncertain as
to what was going on.
He also told me that heremembered being painfully
uncomfortable as his back andshoulders were aching the entire
time.

(02:19):
That workshop exercise was meantto prove a point.
Energy or vibration can indeedbe transmitted between people,
quite effortlessly, in fact.
But the truth is I've had manyother experiences where I've
unmistakably resonated withenergy coming from someone else.

(02:39):
What about you?
Have you ever spontaneously felta certain energy or vibration
from another person?
Were you ever in the presence ofsomeone that, while there was
nothing overtly negative abouttheir words or actions, you
could sense their energy wasdark or even scary, and maybe
you felt a strong urge to leavethe area or avoid them?

(03:02):
Or perhaps in the opposite way,you met someone who kind of lit
you up, that the lightness orjoy or love they vibrated seemed
to impact you, and during oreven after the interaction, you
felt lighter or maybe happier.
Because energy isn't somethingthat we can see or hear or

(03:25):
touch, we usually aren't lookingfor it or paying much attention
to it.
But the truth is we are alwaysoperating on a certain
vibrational or energetic level.
Our energetic level not onlyaffects others but also gives
evidence to our spiritualawareness and acts as a calling
card to what we attract, what wedeflect, and how we experience

(03:50):
life.
Vibration is a word we can useto describe the energetic state
that is currently found withineach of us.
Our vibrational energy is notstagnant.
It is always moving, shifting, and it can move from one level
to another, quickly even.
Just like in the workshopactivity, our energy can change

(04:13):
by focusing on a specific memoryor thought.
But our vibrational baselinealso gives evidence to where we
are spiritually.
It can range from being veryheavy, dark, dense, all the way
to being something light, bright, translucent, and beyond

(04:35):
Both of the words energy andvibration suggest a physical
phenomena, something to be felt.
And it's true, we can often feelour own vibration and the
vibration of other people aroundus.
But how do we feel it?
Not through touch, right?
At least not in most cases.

(04:55):
We feel it through somethingelse.
The word feel is actually alittle misleading.
Sense is probably a better word.
We sense a particular vibrationthrough our awareness, our
primary awareness, the innatewisdom of knowingness that
accompanies us always, or inother words, our consciousness.

(05:18):
So what is this phenomena thatis unseen, unheard, but
nevertheless experienced?
The most accurate definition ofvibration is the quality of
consciousness we embody.
What is consciousness?
Awareness, or what I callprimary awareness, the
observational state ofcontinuous knowingness and

(05:41):
presence.
Consciousness is and has alwaysbeen.
Consciousness preceded us intothis lifetime and will continue
on once our bodies are no longerbeing used.
So our vibration is the qualityor level of consciousness we are
currently resonating with.

(06:03):
We can also experience thequality of consciousness around
us through and by our ownconsciousness.
Is that confusing?
How about this?
We are each operating at acertain level of consciousness,
which energetically manifests asour vibration.
Our consciousness is part of allother consciousness, which is

(06:26):
why we are able to pick up onthe level of vibration around
us.
Remember, our truest nature isconsciousness.
Consciousness is.
But just like the levels of avideo game, there are different
stages of consciousness, andeach level of consciousness
opens up a new type ofperception that is way beyond

(06:48):
what our five senses offer us.
The levels of consciousness canbe understood as an inverted
pyramid with the lowest densest3D consciousness at the bottom
and the greatest, most vast, most evolved 10D plus at the
top, where enlightenedconsciousness extends possibly

(07:09):
to infinity.
Where we are in the invertedpyramid directly influences both
our perception and what weexperience.
So why does any of this matter?
Because, again, our level ofconsciousness directly
influences what we experience.

(07:31):
Think about that for a second.
Our level of consciousnessdirectly impacts what we
experience.
It also affects and influencesthose around us.
This is happening whether or notwe are paying attention to it.
Our emotional state, our nervoussystem, the wounding and karma

(07:54):
we carry all help to determinethe level of consciousness we
currently embody.
While we each have the potentialto access the highest levels of
consciousness, we are often heldback by these things.
We are also restricted by thebelief systems that are rooted
in our human existence to theexclusion of our greater selves.

(08:17):
When we allow feelings of fear, resentment, shame, or bitterness
to dominate and control us, ourconsciousness is limited, and
our perception follows suit.
What we experience is alsolimited.
We don't see the options andopportunities that are actually
there.
The beauty of the world aroundus and in us is hidden.

(08:42):
As our level of consciousnessincreases, our perception also
increases.
We see what we didn't seebefore.
We begin to access a greaterperspective.
New levels of wisdom, creativity, and compassion
unfold.
Clarity and understanding dawnsSo if we have access to

(09:04):
different levels ofconsciousness, how do we move up
the ladder?
First of all, we need to take aminute to soak in the beautiful
truth that we do have theability to raise our
consciousness, raise ourvibration.
No one is excluded from this, and this is important, no one
needs to become someone new.

(09:26):
It is not about changing who youare.
It is about knowing what istrue, which is that our natural
state is one of peace, love, wisdom, and worth, and that
anything that happens to get inthe way of this organic baseline
is just an obstacle blocking ourvibrational path.

(09:49):
But once we make the decision tochange our level of
consciousness, funny enough, weneed to take a breath and fall
back.
Raising our vibration is both apractice and a process.
The goal is not to reach thehighest level possible, like
getting to the finish line in amarathon, but instead to

(10:09):
approach each moment withawareness.
The real goal is to be present,to notice every single step you
are taking in thattwenty-six-mile journey.
Raising vibration is also notabout dogma.
It is not about a set of beliefsthat you adhere to or preach.
It is not religion.

(10:31):
It is about choosing to work atliving in a way that allows your
true self to shine through thedarkness and density of the 3D
world.
If this is intriguing to you, ifyou are finding yourself
thinking,"This is so cool.
I wanna figure this out.
I want to increase myconsciousness.

(10:52):
I want to raise my vibration."If this is you, let's talk about
some strategies you can use todo just that.
Number one, acceptance andgratitude.
These are actually two differentthings, but are very much
connected.
Acceptance is about allowing, appreciating the fact that

(11:15):
everything that is experiencedis happening for a reason, even
if it is hard to figure out whatthat reason is, and then the
important fact that none of itis personal.
Nothing you experience hasanything to do with who you
actually are.
Judging, blaming, avoiding, andresisting are all aspects of the

(11:38):
lowest 3D consciousness.
They have always been a part ofhumanity's struggle.
But in our current world, formany of us, it seems like
there's been an uptick insocietal judgment.
Or perhaps more likely, it justisn't as hidden as it once was.
When you see or experiencedivisiveness around you, instead

(11:59):
of participating in it, giveyourself permission to step back
and allow.
Participating only lowers yourvibration, and I think this is
where people get confused, feeling that they should fight
for what they believe is right.
The thing is, judging, blaming, and shaming is not what's right,

(12:21):
even if it isn't the initialintention.
If you feel compelled to getinvolved in an issue and take an
action to support someone orhelp someone or make a
difference in a real concreteway, by all means, follow your
heart.
But if you are finding yourselfarguing with people, gossiping

(12:42):
about others, or even ruminatingabout the wrongs of the world in
your own mind, reconsider.
Instead, try to step back.
Allow.
All that is happening just is.
You don't need to control it Andthen consciously work at
focusing on what is positive andgood in your own life and what

(13:06):
you see outside of you.
Appreciate.
Practice gratitude.
Try keeping a nightly thankfuljournal where you write down
anything that happenedthroughout the day that you feel
some gratefulness for.
Ask yourself,"What is working inmy life?" And take a moment of
appreciation for whatever thisis.

(13:27):
This might seem silly or a wasteof time, but practicing
gratitude is actually a veryreal and powerful step towards
raising your vibration.
Next, watch what you consume.
Remember the part about ourvibration being picked up and
affecting others?
Yes, we are affected by thosearound us, the people in the

(13:50):
room, as well as the people wewatch on TV or follow on social
media.
Keep in mind that everythinginfluences consciousness.
I remember when I was doing mycollege student teaching
practicum at a high school inMilwaukee.
My supervisor asked me to createand teach a unit on current
events.
I actually told her no, whichwhen I think about it today

(14:13):
makes me laugh.
I remember telling her that Idon't like watching the news,
and I would appreciate adifferent topic.
Even at 21, basically still akid, I was sensitive to what
felt like the extremely negativebad energy coming from the local
news channel.
That was over 30 years ago.

(14:34):
What is available to us today, Ithink we would all agree is
many, many times worse, and itis present 24/7, not just the
5:00 or 10:00 news.
It is literally in our handsalmost every minute of the day.
Pay attention to what you areconsuming, and if it is making

(14:54):
you upset, angry, tense, annoyed, choose to disconnect.
Change what you watch, what youintellectually and emotionally
ingest.
Refusing to partake in thesocietal or political drama does
not make you a bad citizen orsomeone who doesn't care about

(15:15):
others.
It just means that instead ofplaying along, you are rising
above.
Policing others isn't helpfuland doesn't create anything
positive.
If you love social media, viewreels and posts that bring you
joy, that make you smile, thatauthentically resonate with you.

(15:36):
Music, dancing, sports, puppies, travel, fashion, hiking,
whatever it is that you enjoy.
Change your algorithm.
Three, care for your body.
Just because our bodies aretemporary doesn't mean we should

(15:57):
ignore or even worse, abusethem.
They offer us something of truevalue, and they deserve to be
honored.
So while it would be nice to getthe go-ahead to eat and drink
whatever we want whileforgetting about exercise,
unfortunately, that is not thecase.
Raising our vibration is alsoconnected to how we treat our

(16:19):
bodies.
Eat well.
Eat mindfully.
Drink alcohol in moderation ornot at all.
Alcohol actually disrupts ourspiritual presence.
So while I personally believethat there can be a place for
enjoying a glass of wine or acocktail, just like there can be
a place for enjoying an icecream cone or some french fries,

(16:43):
be mindful and choosethoughtfully about what and how
much you consume.
Also, and for someone who hasnever met a food she didn't
like, I say this completelywithout judgment.
The reality is the consumptionof animals, particularly those
with a nervous system whoexperience ill-treatment and

(17:05):
measurable fear before death, that negative energy gets
trapped in the flesh that weeat.
It is there.
It affects us.
I am not saying that you shouldbecome vegetarian or vegan, but
I do think it is important to atleast recognize this truth and
in our protein-centered society, consider appreciation and

(17:27):
respect for the animals thatgave their lives to make ours
better We all know the benefitsof exercise.
If you are not a gym lover, oreven if you are, add walking
into your life.
Not occasionally or a few timesa week, but every day.
Walking is free and easy.

(17:48):
It makes a huge difference toour physical health and our
emotional health, and it helpsto raise our vibration,
specifically when we walkoutside.
Being in nature raises ourvibration.
So walking through theneighborhood or at a local park
or on a nature trail doubles, maybe triples the benefit.

(18:10):
And if for any reason you're notable to walk outside, find a way
to sit outside, even for a fewminutes each day.
So yes, you matter.
Your body matters.
Taking care of yourself is aconcrete, action-oriented
strategy that along with all theother benefits will also serve

(18:30):
to raise your vibrationMeditation.
Meditation is also something toseriously consider.
I know that many of us findmeditation extremely
challenging.
Meditation to one of my therapyclients, they come back the next
week and tell me that they justcouldn't do it.

(18:54):
This always makes me smilebecause pretty much everyone has
the same experience, especiallyin the beginning.
We are extremely used tooperating from our thinking
minds.
When we are asked to createspace, not necessarily to stop
thoughts, but rather to see thespace behind the thoughts and

(19:14):
rest there for a while, itreally is a tough ask What does
this space even look or feellike?
And shouldn't I be doingsomething more important?
Meditation is such a vitalpractice for raising our
vibration, and honestly, formental health in general, and it

(19:34):
certainly deserves more timethan this little mention.
So I encourage you to do someresearch and consider adding
some form of meditation intoyour daily routine.
I think the easiest way to beginis to download a meditation app
or look on YouTube for freeguided meditations.
Guided meditation serves as abridge to deeper meditation and

(19:58):
is a great way of learning whatmeditation can feel like, as
well as learning how to create aroutine around it Another strong
strategy for raising vibrationis doing for others.
You've heard it before.
Practice random acts ofkindness.

(20:19):
Smile more.
Commit to smiling at everyoneyou see.
Do some volunteer work, or thenext time someone is talking to
you, really listen.
Connect.
Use your energy to make themfeel heard.
When we give of ourselves toothers in an authentic, aligned

(20:40):
way, it speaks to our highestnature and reminds us of who we
really are okay, I've talkedabout this next strategy many
times before, and it is anotherbig topic that deserves way more
than a passing mention.
But practicing forgiveness onthe daily will a hundred percent

(21:01):
increase your vibration and willsupport you in moving towards
higher levels of consciousness.
Forgiveness isn't aboutpretending you aren't angry or
hurt or resentful.
It's about allowing for whateverfeelings and thoughts you have,
but then at some point, choosingto forgive whomever or whatever

(21:24):
triggered the negative responsewithin you.
Then equally important is toforgive yourself for having the
thoughts and feelings in thefirst place.
If you really want to masterthis strategy, it needs to be a
daily practice, not anoccasional thing.
Any time you notice negativethoughts or feelings, it is an

(21:44):
opportunity.
Even just observing everydayirritations and silly, ornery
thoughts with awareness is agreat way to start.
It builds the same muscle thatwill be needed to deal with
deeper, more painful wounds.
I will say that for most of us,it is easier either to ignore or

(22:05):
stuff, as we say in the therapyworld, our negative or painful
feelings, or at the other end ofthe spectrum, to find comfort in
ruminating or regurgitating ourhurts and pains.
Both keep us stuck in lowerlevels of consciousness.
Instead, allow feelings to cometo the surface.
Give them time and space to befelt, but then consciously

(22:29):
choose to release them, even ifthe releasing is repeated many
times over.
While not an overnight process, this practice does offer true
and lasting healing and willraise your vibration and
ultimately your level ofconsciousness.
And finally, remember yourintrinsic worth, which I get is

(22:52):
sort of a what came first, thechicken or the egg scenario.
If you are struggling with alower vibration, you are
struggling with seeing yourintrinsic worth.
That is a fact.
And when we struggle with seeingour true selves, it can be very
challenging to rewrite thenarrative.
But here is something to try.
When you talk to yourself ormake choices about your day or

(23:15):
bigger choices about your life, pretend that you are your own
dearest and most valued friend.
Speak accordingly.
Do accordingly.
Forgive accordingly.
Every time you do this, even ifit feels a little forced, you
are taking a baby step towards amore accurate self-understanding

(23:37):
and a greater consciousness.
I will leave you with this.
One of the lowest vibrations wecan carry is the belief that we
are fundamentally lacking,broken, or unworthy.
One of the highest truths we canremember is that our worth is
intrinsic.
It is not something we earn.

(23:58):
It is something we recognize.
As you finish listening and goabout your day, I encourage you
to ask yourself this question.
What state of consciousness haveI been living from lately?
The truth is, consciousness andall of its infinite vastness is
something the overwhelmingmajority of people on this

(24:19):
planet neither fully or reallyeven slightly understand.
But here's the thing.
We don't need to understand thetruth of consciousness in its
entirety to benefit from itsreality.
Notice, observe, question.

(24:40):
Where are you now?
Where would you like to be?
You are light.
You are love.
You are holy
