Anthony Possobon

“My advice to anyone that’s trying to get into the video game company is to look at the roles that they put upon on the website, find which of those roles you are interested in, and then build your portfolio, make artwork that represents the role.”- Anthony Possobon

I am so excited to introduce to you this episode of the Vivid Vision podcast. Anthony Possobon aka Mr. Pasta Bomb, who worked previously as the Creative Director for League of Legends with Riot Games joins me today! Anthony specializes in animation, motion graphics, and storytelling. To anyone wanting to get into the video gaming industry, Anthony could be just the right person to hear from!

It was during his high school days that he found his fun place was video games. He got his first job as a temp in Riot games and has done a great bit in improving their games and videos.

Anthony says that to get into a gaming company, you probably only need a good portfolio of work. It doesn’t matter if you did not go into college. But if you wish to get into the legal team, you may need a degree. That is a totally different story. He advises on using the available tools to your advantage and creating your portfolio. While applying for a job, make sure to tweak your portfolio and samples to cater to the job requirements. Having a broad scope of interests is good, but being more specific is key.

To get more insights from this creative director-cum-digital influencer, tune in to the episode today!
