Maddie Alm, VIS Expert™, Professional runner, Registered Dietitian (RD), and Former Division I Athlete at University of Colorado-Boulder and with an M.S. in Nutritional Sciences from San Diego State University joins us to demystify common phrases and challenges we all face in sport. Maddie walked onto the cross country and track and field teams at the University of Colorado-Boulder, eventually earning All-American Honors. Her experiences with learning about the power of nutrition in undergrad inspired her to become a registered dietitian. Maddie now trains as a professional athlete while working with female athletes of all ages on their own nutrition. In this episode Maddie helps female athletes demystify common phrases surrounding sports nutrition, in effort to help us fuel ourselves properly and reach our greatest potential. Maddie is an incredible athlete, nutritionist and in addition to helping athletes at Voice in Sport as a VIS Expert™ runs her own company called Fueling Forward.
