They lurk in the shadows watching your most private moments. You’re their every thought. Like a hunter, you’re their prey. This week we share stories of stalkers. Dana tells the fascinating story of Mary Stauffer, whose life was forever changed when she and her daughter were held at gunpoint and kidnapped by a former student and stalker, Ming Sen Shiue. Nydia does the terribly sad story of sixteen-year-old Laurie Show who was stalked by nineteen-year-old Lisa Michelle Lambert in 1991. Cindy covers some unknown facts about stalker victimization that may just educate you.
For dinner this week, Cindy cooked up a Minnesota Wild Rice Hot Dish recipe that gave us all a warm feeling inside. For dessert, she made us platter-sized Whoopie Pies. The meal was paired with La Petite Perriere Pinot Noir. An acidic and sweet wine with a good balance between red fruit and minerals.
