Aloha and welcome to Your Heart Magic, an
illuminating space wherepsychology, spirituality, and
heart wisdom meet.
Here's your host, Dr.
Bethane Kapansky Wright, author, psychologist, and spiritual
educator.

SPEAKER_01 (00:32):
Aloha, everybody.
Welcome to Your Heart Magic.
This is Dr.
Bethane Kapansky Wright, and weare talking about the energy for
the week ahead and looking atwhat is the energy right now,
and how do we take the conceptsthat we are given through the
Akashic Records, through some ofthe astrological transits.

(00:54):
We have a tarot card that we'regoing to be pulling.
And how do we integrate that ina way that supports us in living
intuitively, staying in ourhearts, and feeling more
supported on the path?
I am so intrigued by the energythis week.
The Akashic Records gave us theword encompass as the main
keyword for the week.

(01:15):
And the way that that camethrough when I opened the
records is I was immediatelykind of inundated with all these
different images of circles.
And I had the circular feelingas if I was being wrapped around
by something, uh, something thatfelt nourishing and supportive.
It didn't feel constrictive orscary, but it felt like this

(01:36):
wrapping around, beingencircled, being surrounded by
something.
And I was seeing thesesimultaneous images of an
infinity symbol, seeing a ringof mountains around somebody,
seeing images of circles andrings and all sorts of imagery
that was related to that.

(01:57):
And the message was really clearthat the energy this week might
feel like a circle, a wrappingaround, being encompassed,
feeling supported, feelingsurrounded.
And once again, the emphasis wason this feeling positive, not so
much surrounded and closed inon.
This didn't feel like aconstrictive week.

(02:17):
It felt like a supportive week.
And when I asked the records fora little bit more information on
what that meant, part of themessage that came through was
that we have been so activelyand diligently working on
preparation, planning, onintrospection, on going through
this evaluation of what holdsvalue and what holds meaning for

(02:40):
us.
And how do we want to preservethat in our life?
How do we want to prepare thingsin our life to really cherish
and value those things?
And this week feels like acontinuation of that energy and
like we'll be feeling and seeinga stabilization of support.
As if we did all this prep workand we've done this inventory,

(03:02):
we've perhaps made some changesand done some release work
around some things, started someother things that might be new
beginnings, new potential forus.
And it feels like this weekthere's a stabilizing energy.
And we are encouraged to look atwhat we are surrounded by?
What kinds of things on a dailybasis surround you in your life?

(03:24):
Who are the people that you aresurrounded by?
What activities?
What things take up your time?
What things take up your thoughtlife?
How do you move your energy andmove yourself and move your
thoughts on a day-to-day basis?
What surrounds you?
And so that's the journalingprompt for the week is to really
play with the idea of beingsurrounded and think about what

(03:47):
are you surrounding yourself byat this time?
And looking at how does thatfeel for you?
Does it feel stabilizing?
Does it feel nourishing?
Does it feel supportive?
And if for some reason itdoesn't, how might you make some
shifts in your life to continueto align to feeling that you
have a life that wraps aroundyou in a way that feels

(04:09):
nourishing and substantial andsupportive?
We are moving into Sagittariusseason.
We are actually in Sagittariusseason.
We've moved from Scorpio intoSagittarius.
And Sagittarius is anastrological sign in the zodiac.
It's associated with fireenergy.
It is related to expansion, optimism, adventure, curiosity,

(04:33):
truth seeking.
Sagittarius is the archer.
And truth is like an arrow.
It is always seeking highertruth.
It is seeking its target, it'sseeking to free itself, to
expand in love, to help usexpand in love.
We do that as we recognize ourtruth inside of us and take that
out in the world and live it ina way that we feel more

(04:55):
authentic and feel more aligned.
So that feels like beautifulastrological energy that
complements the message of theAkashic.
And I have the sense that we areinvited to take up space,
whatever it is that supports usin our life, whatever it is that
holds us, that contains us inour home spaces, our

(05:16):
relationship spaces, in ourmental spaces, and the spaces
that we might work, that wemight exercise, play, interact
in some way, I feel thisencouragement of taking up
space, taking up space withinthat circle and not being afraid
to take your space withinwhatever it is that supports and

(05:37):
nourishes you.
So the energy feels empowering,it feels embolding, and it feels
stable to me.
And since we are at thebeginning of Sagittarius season,
what I often find when we gointo a new sign on the zodiac is
that there is this integrationwhere we've just moved from one
season that had thesecharacteristics with it.

(05:59):
So Scorpio was abouttransformation, introspection,
really going inward, reallydigging into our truth and
unearthing hidden truths thatmight be hard to recognize and
bringing them to the light.
There is an intensity and aheaviness that's often
associated with Scorpio season.
I also think that the slowingdown of energy that we have been

(06:22):
feeling also goes along withthis idea of digging and
unearthing hidden truths andreally getting to the core of
something.
That's not work that we doquickly.
That's work that takes a littlebit of time.
It takes trust and it takespatience with the process.
And I feel like we have gonefrom introspection to this
integration that was happeningaround the new moon and has been

(06:46):
happening probably at thebeginning of this week, and that
we are moving into moreappreciation and activity,
appreciation for the work thatwe've done, appreciation for how
far we've come, and feelingempowered to step into our lives
in more expansive ways and applysome of what we've been
learning.
So this feels like a good weekfor action.

(07:07):
And I get a sense that that isgoing to build as we move into
December, and that it'ssomething that is going to
probably reach a crescendo, I'mguessing around the full moon.
But for now, if you can workwith the idea of feeling
encompassed, appreciating whatsupports you have in your life,
seeing what's surrounding you, looking at what is coming full

(07:29):
circle in your life, what cyclesmight be ending, and something
new is beginning.
And remembering that there's acontinuation.
We don't just end one thing andstart something brand new.
There is a carryover of thatenergy.
So whatever stories we aretelling with our lives, whatever
stories we are writing with thepath and with our own journey,

(07:51):
there's a continuation of thatnarrative.
So where in life right now mightbe things coming full circle and
might you be moving into thebeginning of a new chapter that
builds on whatever happened inthe previous chapter.
So really feeling encouraged toplay with those ideas this week.
And then I love our card of theweek.
It's the High Priestess.

(08:13):
And I have been pulling from thegood tarot deck by Call Up Baron
Reed.
The High Priestess was not thecard I was expecting.
Just so you know, what I do withmy tarot practice when I'm
pulling cards for myself, I dothis when I'm reading for
others, and I definitely do itfor the podcast.
I tend to be an over-shuffler.
I will shuffle them so much.

(08:33):
And if it doesn't feel ready, Imight do some more shuffling.
And I divide them in threehands, and I always ask Spirit
to move the card that's meant tobe picked.
So usually what will happen whenI divide it into three piles is
one of the cards on the top willslide down.
And that's how I pick the cardof the week.
So it's intuitively guided.

(08:53):
And I'm also asking for a littlebit of extra clarity, which we
can definitely do when we'reworking with our intuition, just
to have a little bit moreconfirmation that that card
feels like the one that wants tobe picked.
And I drew the high priestessthis week.
And again, this was not the cardthat I was expecting.
I think I expected somethingwith more fire energy or more

(09:15):
activity or something that feltmore like a three in the deck,
something that's a build, asupport, or a completion.
But we have the high priestess, and that's card two in the tarot
deck.
And two is usually a card ofreceptivity.
It is a card of bringingsomething into ourselves that's
more yen energy.

(09:36):
It's a little bit more of thatpassive energy and conscious
allowance, conscious magnetism, allowing ourselves to receive
the next step for the journey,as opposed to efforting and
forcing the next step.
And the high priestess is allabout embracing the mysteries.
She is the alchemy that knowsthat when we are living life,

(09:57):
that not everything is linear, not everything is meant to be
understood in a logical way.
It is meant to be understoodexperientially and intuitively.
And there are some things thatmight not add up on paper.
We might have a hard timeexplaining to somebody some of
the more spiritual experiencesin our life, or how about

(10:18):
intuitive experiences?
Try and explain to somebody areally magical intuitive moment
that you had.
And I've often found that ifthey're kind of on the same vibe
with you spiritually, they mightget really excited and really
feel what you're telling them.
But oftentimes I feel like thosemoments fall flat because we
cannot put into linear languagethis richness of nuance and

(10:42):
experience.
And what it is to be wrappedaround by spirit, what it is to
be wrapped around and to belongto the universe and to have that
sense of belonging and feelingsurrounded by energy in our
life.
That's a really hard one to putinto words, to put into any kind
of logical language.
We understand it in the heart.
We understand it through themystic mind.

(11:04):
We understand it through theresonance inside of us.
We understand it through themysteries.
And that is the exhortation ofthe high priestess.
She encourages us to trust ourintuition, to trust the path as
it keeps unfolding in front ofus, to trust whatever it is that
you're sensing right now, orwhatever it is that you have

(11:26):
been feeling.
If you have been going throughtransformation and you have a
sense that something is beingbirthed out of that time, or
something is going to be comingfull circle in your life, or
you're moving into a new cycle, the high priestess encourages
you to trust that and to knowyou don't have to put it into
language in order to know thatit's true for you.

(11:46):
You just have to stay on thepath.
You have to stay with self-trustand keep following where you're
led.
So I will close today with theaffirmation from this step.
Again, this is from The GoodTarot by Collette Baron Reed.
And this is the High PriestessMystery.
Some things are not meant to beknown intellectually, but are

(12:08):
meant to be experienced throughintuition.
This card reminds me to trustthat I have access to higher
wisdom and knowing.
When I tune in and trust myvibes, this is the time when
mysteries will be revealed and Ican grow as a result.
Reading that today makes methink of the message that came

(12:29):
through for the last quarter ofthe year from the Akashic
Records.
And it was about seeing what'saround the bend and things
opening up in our life where wesee with clarity.
And the line in this card, thisis the time when mysteries will
be revealed, and I can grow as aresult, makes me very curious
about what is to come inDecember and what kinds of

(12:52):
things might come together foreach of us and how that might
come into more clarity andvision for our path.
So stay tuned for that.
In the meantime, have an amazingweek.
Happy Thanksgiving to those ofyou who celebrate.
And as always, be well, be love,be you.

(13:12):
And be magic.
